It's finally here. Hatsan's Blitz, a fully automatic pre-charged pneumatic air rifle. Yes, you read that correctly: full auto gas operated airgun. What would you do with a full auto PCP air rifle? What wouldn't you do! With 53 FPE at 730 FPS with the .30 caliber, the Blitz is powerful and accurate enough to take down medium sized game like a coyote if you're hunting, or just absolutely destroy a line of cans in under a second. Just pull back the side bolt, load the magazine, push the bolt down, flip the selector to Auto, and you're ready to rock.

If full auto isn't enough for you, the Blitz has more in store as well. Use the included carry handle with adjustable open sights or remove it to add a scope on the combo 11mm dovetail and 22mm Weaver optics rail. If you need more, the Blitz has 3 Picatinny accessory rails on the sides and bottom of the bottle for attaching things like a bipod, laser, or flashlight. Flip the Hatsan Blitz over and you'll see the color coded manometer (yellow-green-red) on the bottom ahead of the trigger guard that lets you know if it's under-pressure, optimal, or overfilled. You'll also find fitted sling mounts, in case you did remove that carry handle on top to add a scope. If you want the power of a PCP air rifle and the excitement of full automatic, there's literally only one airgun for you: the Hatsan Blitz.

This thing will BURN trough the pellets!

Pros
Have dumped more than 10 mags including several of the 40 rounders, zero issues.. what a kick! And beyond impressed with the power, blowing through three 1 inch thick planks stacked against each other. IMPRESSIVE

Cons
Mags seem a little cheap but hey, they work!

A 4500psi compressor and a 5000psi cylinder is a MUST. The cylinder is a portable fill bottle for on the go hunting. (And the cylinder was needed to initially fill/seal the Blitz the initial pressurization.

Pros
First of all, anyone who buys a Hatsan Blitz air rifle needs to know that the rifle comes WHITH NO AIR in the cylinder. This means that ALL seals are not closed. Think of it like a tubeless tire on a car, if the tire seal around the rim is loose air will leak out and it will be very hard to air up the tire. SO you need an air cylinder filled to ~3000psi to "1st time only" to initially "pop" the seals in place and thereafter you can fill it whatever you want, but I do not recommend a hand pump, it will NOT work. I have (3) blitz air rifles two are the 30cal (my older son and I) and 1 22cal I use for cheap auto firing. I have shot over 1500 round through these rifles and have had only a few cycle issues because of the adding the suppresser/spring #47.

Cons
Maybe make the mag insert fit tighter, and reduce the trigger pull/

Had my 30 cal for about 2 years and its an awesome shooter. No issues out the box and put north of 500 rounds through it. Dont buy one without a compressor- manual pump will run you ragged!

Pros
Fun, fun, fun!! At 55y (max of my backyard) its accurate but needed a DonnyFL to keep it friendly!

Cons
Trigger - not adjustable and too heavy! With DonnyFL it does require downgrading recoil spring which impedes auto and chambering stops halfway- needs pushing to complete. But hey, target at 55y doesnt need full auto. Needs bigger bottle and pressure- was surprised with the elevation drop-off from 31 to 55y with the 44gr.

If you're looking for an affordable pcp it's hard to beat an Air Venturi Avenger. Want Semi-Auto? Go with AEA.

Pros
Cool idea, full auto pcp.

Cons
1st one leaked. No biggie, things happen. Sent back for replacement. Replacement comes 2 weeks later. I asked for it to be tested before it was sent. That didn't happen. Replacement leaks. Sent back, refund! This is 3 Hatsan's from Airgun Depot that didn't work. Hatsan, in my opinion is garbage.

Buy a regular gun and stay away from air guns the hammer 50 i bought is broken right out of the box too. Obviously quality control in the air gun world is lacking. F-ed that birthday up completely...

Pros
It looks fun. But.... show no go...

Cons
Its got a problem right out of the box. You try and add air and it comes straight out of the barrel. It has a design flaw or obvious poor quality control... because rightbout of the box it wont work. Whatapizzachit..

Does it come with a pump or do I need to buy it separately this is my first pcp air gun purchase

asked loren from USA

You will need to purchase the air source separately.

Adam from USA

WHAT SIZE SCOPE MOUNTS / RISORS WOULD THIS TAKE TO AVOID MAGAZINE PROBLEMS?

asked RYAN from USA

UTG SWAT AccuShot 4-16x44 AO, EZ-TAP

Austin from USA

What quick connect fill probe do I need for blitz .30 cal

asked Ray from USA

The probe that comes blitz is 1/8" BSPP threaded. You will need this adapter to turn the fill probe into male QD. https://www.airgundepot.com/air-venturi-male-quick-disconnect-3550.html

Adam from USA

Will the .177 cal version ever be sold?

asked Cameron from USA

Fellow airgunner... .22 vs .30 pro and con ? Which one would you choose? .22 bigger mag and higher shot count, lighter flatter trajectory and larger cheaper selection of ammo? However .30 more ultimate FPE, better crosswind and possibly better BC Perhaps more accurate predictable longer range trajectory? I own .25 caliber Maurader , .257 custom built Airforce slug gun .177 CO2 Airforce. I do not have a .30 or a .22 Which one should I invest and try first? Can't afford both!!!

asked BRIAN from USA

30cal gives the wow factor that 22 won't quite deliver. On the other hand, 22cal cost about 10 percent of the cost of 30cal pellets so you get to shoot 10x as much for same money.

matt from USA

Does this gun seem to be well built, sturdy with alot of machined metal parts ? Would you consider it a serious and real air arm addition to other real air arms you might include within a lifelong collection of airguns? Or is it just plastic novelty toy like product that is similar quality to some of the full auto BB guns or even some of the mid to lower level airsoft replicas? Also it is said that a moderator voids the warranty? Is there concern that additional back pressure produced by addition of muzzle air moderation could be concern for damage to the blow back or other action mechanisms? In other words what is the concern for additional moderation that would void warranty and what to look out for? Does this system utilize blowback or does it utilize different unconventional hammerless valve activation?

asked BRIAN from USA

I need to know if a regular ( In my shop ) air compressor will fully charge the holding tank to the rifle. ?

asked George from USA

No,,need a pump designed for airguns, regular air compressor will not be able to pump the pressure needed

Timothy from USA

At what pressure does the Blitz need to be recharged? Literature says that at max fill pressure of 3625 psi the 22 caliber will shoot 130 rounds at "optimal velocity." I am calculating how many shots i can get if i only fill to 3442 psi using a steel scuba tank. Is there a pressure noted on the gauge where it goes into the yellow zone?

asked Tommy from USA

Does the tank need to be inspected at regular intervals? If so, how often? Does it simply unscrew from the body? Air fill to use is regular atmospheric air? Lastly, what about shelf life? Are there gaskets that will dry rot if I dont use this for 6 mo?

asked Michael from USA

The air rifle takes regular maintenance like any other precharged pneumatics. PCP guns when used with good dry compressed air, the seals , gaskets and o-rings have a much longer lifespan and better resiliency than CO2 and is less of an issue. You do not want to lubricate other than a very very light touch of specialized silicon grease such as divers grease that is designed for safe use under high pressure. Usually this would be done during a complete service and teardown. Most often something that for most is best left to an airgunsmith or service professional professional. The pressure vessels utilized are of a lessor capacity that do not require certified regular inspection. It is however best practice to learn what to look for and inspect your system during use and note any defect and practice good judgement. Pre charged pneumatics in most all instances utilize atmospheric air that is pressurized to several thousands of pounds per square inch. The best pumps and compressors have sophisticated filter systems to remove all impurities and deliver absolutely dry air. The best compressors are dive compressors that have filtration that is certified and rated to make breathable life supporting compressed air. Most PCP guns can also utilize commercially sold bottled nitrogen sold at many gas supply vendors such as welding supply, however the higher pressurized bottles needed might require special order. As generically they don't typically sell it in the higher pressures. Occasionally you may find experts that are very skilled and experimental charge their airguns with helium for ultimate performance. I would not recommend helium in this rifle and doubt if it would function correctly!

BRIAN from USA

can I convert the 30 cal to a Harpoon Arrow Launcher ?,I will like to use both, also is any way that we can get an extra bottle with a quick disconnect ? thanks :)

asked LUIS from USA

air leak can not pump up

asked tracey from USA

You need to hand pump like crazy the 1st 50 - 75 pumps, it should seal the valve. I did it both ways. Hand pump and high pressure compressor To Fill was about 6 - 700 pump strokes. No pun intended!

Martin J. from USA

If the gun was delivered completely empty, you have to do an initial blast of air from a high pressure tank. You wont be able to fill it with a hand pump. The blast of air will seat the valve in the tank.

Mark from USA

Hi, I need to know what to do if there is an air leak. When I fill the tank, it doesn't keep the air inside the cylinder. Do I have to tighten a screw or something?

asked Cristian from USA

You need to hand pump like crazy the 1st 50 - 75 pumps, it should seal the valve. I did it both ways. Hand pump and high pressure compressor

Martin J. from USA

It needs an initial blast from a high pressure tank to seat the valve. Then you can finish filling it.

Mark from USA

Can you fill the blitz with a hand pump from the factory uncharged condition. Or will it leak too much and you will never be able to even seat the valves from a completely empty air tank?

asked Richard from USA

You need to hand pump like crazy the 1st 50 - 75 pumps, it should seal the valve. I did it both ways. Hand pump and high pressure compressor To Fill was about 6 - 700 pump strokes. No pun intended!

Martin J. from USA

The initial blast of air from a pressurized tank will seal the valve. A hand pump wont seat the valve.

Mark from USA

Technically you can, but you going to have to spend a lot of time and desire to exercise. You are probably looking at 1,500+ pumps.

Eugene from USA

Does anyone know if the barrel is 216 217 or 218 cal for the .22 ?

asked Brian from USA

How many magazines are included with the .22?

asked David from USA

Mine came with Three. They advertise 2. But you get 3.

Michael from USA

Mine came with 3 magazines.

Anthony from USA

Can you add a Moderator (Suppressor/Silencer) to the 30cal Hasten Blitz?

asked Da'love from USA

Is there an issue with back pressure that voids the warranty when adding a moderator

BRIAN from USA

Yes you can with an adapter that fits the shroud. However doing so will void your warranty.

Richard from USA

Does it come in a hard shell case?

asked Kevin from USA

No hard case... Just a box.

Anthony from USA

how long does it take to fill air rifle

asked Gerald from USA

I bought a Air comp. Off Amazon. 2 yrs ago. Still takes 2.3 to 2.7 min.

Michael from USA

Depends on what you use. 100 psi to 250 with my Benjamin Recharge air compressor only takes about 2.5 min.

Anthony from USA

1500 to 3000 psi 15 min

Carlton from USA

whats the best ammo for this rifle

asked Reynaldo from USA

Due to the full auto capability I figured I would start of with Crosman Premier .22. generally cheap to buy in 500 rd tins. Well I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy considering how light those pellets are 14.3 gr. I own Hatsan Bullmaster, FlashPup, Flash, Vectis and they all typically need an 18gr pellet to get decent accuracy but not the car with the Blitz. I can shoot H&N Crow Magnum, JSB domes at 18gr but I'm quite happy with Crosman Premier.

Anthony from USA

Several polymags, jsb heavys 15 gr.

Carlton from USA

Which hand pump should be bought and fitting for blitze

asked Mike from USA

I would recommend a scuba or better yet a scba tank to fill from. You would have to get a dive shop to fill the bottle but would be able to get a great many refills of much better quality air! Beginner airgunner starting out is much better to invest in a bulk air storage vessel than it is to buy a hand pump within their budget. Even if you wanted to go the hand pump route, better off to use pump to top off your bulk air tank rather than rifle. So bulk air tank is better investment all the way around than a hand pump. I recommend buying air fillups from a dive shop, as it is better quality of dry air and your gun will thank you in the long run! With pumps and compressors you get what you pay for in the quality of the air produced. Better compressors include more sophisticated filtration and in the longer run makes a great difference in the performance and reliability of your air powered arms. Initially it may go unnoticed but if you use your guns much , it becomes evident over regular use! Invest in a bulk bottle and a good compressor with decent filtration. Pretty much any dive compressor that can produce air for life support will make for a lasting investment in a lifetime of airgun enjoyment and usefulness. Invest in the good stuff, buy disposable stuff.

BRIAN from USA

Don't even bother with a hand pump. You will need an air compressor to keep up with the amount of shooting you will do. I recommend Benjamin Recharge air compressor. But if you must pump make sure it's at least a two stage pump but your back won't love you.

Anthony from USA

Will the H & N Hornet .25 ammo fit and work in the magazines for this gun ?

asked Greg from USA

Yes

Carlton from USA

What is a good scope to go with this gun?

asked David from USA

I've had great success with UTG scopes but they are on the budget end of the spectrum. The recoil isn't much so any decent scope should work just fine.

Anthony from USA

If I get a hand pump for this what kind of adapter will I need?

asked Tim from USA

Air Venturi Male Quick-Disconnect, 1/8"..., Fill probe adapter.

Mark from USA

can I use a hand pump ? I bought a 4500 psi 4 stage hand pump. Gun is back ordered

asked William from USA

Can you actually use a hand pump to pump it from the factory uncharged condition or will a hand pump not be enough to close the valves from completely empty?

Richard from USA

Yes. You can hand pump the Blitz.

Mark from USA

What is the muzzle velocity difference between the first shot and shot #130 assuming starting pressure is 250 Bar?

asked paul from USA

The Blitz has not been tested . It is brand new.

Mark from USA

How do I get my air gun to fill Have tried several different ports.

asked Richard from USA

I used the fill port on the side of the stock

William from USA

The fill port will be underneath the stock, in front of the trigger guard. the fill port (provided with the gun) fits in the fill port.

Mark from USA

Can this gun fill with the nomad ll air pump

asked chai from USA

Yes

Mark from USA

Are there any restrictions regarding fully autos in California?

asked Pete from USA

Not for air rifles. And i know theres a guy that has a youtibe channel that shoots in california all the time with it.

Richard from USA

Is not an firearms

chai from USA

its not a firearm so no restrictions

Ben from USA

We do not believe so. You would have to contact the state of California for that information.

Mark from USA

Will there be a suppressor for this airgun? It says the loudness is 3-medium.

asked Kenneth from USA

Mine is fairly quiet (30 cal). I can shoot it in my backyard, and frequently do. No complaints.

Steven from USA

Once the gun is released ,there will be after market adapters and moderators available.

Mark from USA

is this gun shipped in a box or a hard shell casee

asked Anthony from USA

Mine was shipped in a box with egg crate padding. The box can be used as a case if necessary.

Steven from USA

Its sent in a box

Richard from USA

We have not seen this gun

Pete from USA

what ammo is optimal for the .30 cal,,,,are there magazines available ?

asked LAWRENCE from USA

JSB Heavy is my preferred ammo in the Blitz. Rifle comes with 3 magazines.

Steven from USA

The features list says includes 2 swing-load detachable mags and a winding tool that is stored in the stock (commented 06/16/2020)

John from USA

Yes there are magazines available to buy

Richard from USA

We have not seen the gun. There is no info on the best pellets.
