Pretty sweet

Yeah so this gun is pretty awesome. The blowback is crisp and the gun shoots cleanly. Like some said this is a very in accurate gun, but regardless is an awesome gun to shoot. "Classified" said the guns slide didn't always work. The solution is that either the screw is loose on the top, or some other part is loose. You can also take the gun apart and stretch the spring. Over all a great gun, just DO NOT buy it for the accuracy.

I've had this gun for several years. i bought it because it is a good reproduction of the PPK. Having purchased several other guns since then I find the PPK to be too low in powere to hit anything past 15 ft and the blowback only adds to the inaccuracy. I gave it to a friend to get her started in shooting. I don't buy anything under 430 FPS.

pros: small gun fits in your hand well, looks great and the blow back is very cool. cons: not very accurate compared to other guns i have fired, low power i have seen some from 400-500 overall its not bad but cant do much but plink in your backyard

accurate, realistic backyard plinker

I have had mine for five years now and love to take it out in the backyard to practice shooting in between range visits. the only negative is a common co2 problem, repeated rapid firing causes the cartridge to get cold and the pressure to fall-off. Let the cartridge warm up and you are back in business.

This gun is amazing, it has never missed a beat. nor has a bb ever fallen out of it like stated by some other people. it is verry realistic and breaks down just like the real one. it even feels like it. it is mostly made of mettal and is a blast to shoot with its realistic recoil! it isnt the most powerfull gun but its still fun. one of the thing i look for moast in a gun is accuracy and eaven though this doesnt have that...it still is the best bb gun i ever have fired! highly recomended=]

Fun to Shoot

Fun to shoot, a little hard to handle at first. I killed a bird at 10 yards.

It was a great weapon, but, alas, after about 2 years, it died.

I purchased the PPK after the first CO2 pistol I purchased was disappointing in it's manufacture and I liked the feel of the PPK especially that easy to use trigger. And as it is steel I expect the PPK to last me a long time. The recoil takes a lot to control but I can hold the PPK properly now and reduced the habit it had of shooting to the right most of the time. I started to use Steel BB's at first but using Copper head BB's gives me more accuracy. Anybody else found this? It is a pity the PPK does not have a rifled barrel for more accuracy. It is surprising good quality for the price, I have never had a BB roll out of the barrel after I have fired one! as someone in the reviews mentioned happened for them. I will be looking for a .177 Match Target Pistol and the PPK was a good starting point. Not as accurate as a Match Pistol as I would expect, but my PPK is a lot of fun, and powerful enough. A cheaper way to start learning how to shoot properly. A typical WALTHER product.

Better than I expected

I bought one of these from a nationwide. When I got it home to try it out I was impressed by the construction (although the finish is a little rough around the edges) and the feel of the gun - a nice little replica. As far as performance, one of the main things I like about the gun is the very slight trigger pull. I have a Gamo PT-80 and although I like the gun it's trigger is heavy even when you cock the pistol. I am starting to teach my son firearm handling and shooting basics, and I wanted something he could start with and the PT-80 is just too heavy a trigger. The PPK's tirgger is considerably lighter. Accuracy is ok for a bb gun - don't expect stunning results and you will be okay. My only gripe is that it regularly will fire one bb and then a second will roll out of the barrel a moment later and drop at my feet. I have only fired about 75 bb's out of it and have yet to have a full 15 shots due to this from a magazine. If it wasn't for this issue I would have rated it a five. Other than that I was so pleased with the gun I went back the next day and bought a second one - at the price I got it for I couldn't resist! Even at more regular prices though, if you want a plinker for the backyard you could do a whole lot worse than this. I do agree though with Pulsar that the use of plastic for the CO2 knob is a little suspect.

The "Good": Mostly metal construction. The blowback on this pistol almost compares to a walther .22 handgun. Nice single action trigger for fast shooting. The "Not So Good": Would be perfect if it had a little higher velocity, and if it was all metal.

Great feel- heavy and similar to real pistol. Recoil also very similar- lots of fun too.

Great Product
December 27, 2006
Great gun to use. Fast shooting and fun to play with. Too bad it isn't that powerful. They should remake it to atleast 500fps. The fun part about this gun is that it doesn't use up that much C02. Blow back effect feels and looks very real, when fired the gun has a slight kick similar to a real 22 handgun. Also for the first 2-5 shots..It smokes. Great gun to have. Very real looking and feeling, just was dissapointed that it wasn't as powerful as they could have made it.
