The owner's manual incorrectly states how the BBs should be loaded. The correct way to load the magazines is from the side that does not have the ratchets.

The PPQ Air Pistol is a pellet/ BB repeater powered by one 12g CO2 cylinder that hides in the grip of the BB pistol. An integrated accessory rail underneath the muzzle is a great place to add a tactical flashlight or an airgun laser. The Walther PPQ CO2 pistol has a manual slide lever safety, single action trigger, and a fixed blade front sight and an adjustable rear sight. This BB replica is not only a great BB gun for some fun plinking, but also makes a great target shooting and training pistol.

It's a Walther
July 4, 2016
As dependable as they come. Anytime I see a Walther item on sale I have to buy it since I know the odds are, its going to be a well thought out product and not something built with price only in mind. German engineering has yet to disappoint me. Nothing has changed with the purchase of this (yet another Walther) gun. I found great ergonomics, build quality and as expected pistol accuracy. The 8 round magazine it comes with fits most other Walther pellet guns if not all.
Quality and engineering. Pellet accuracy, C02 efficiency, Replication weight and feel of this gun is really good. It feels like a firearm so it's great for practice.
Somewhat heavy trigger but nothing you wont get used to and come to expect as in it's not so heavy that it hurts accuracy.

If looks could kill

Looks and feels like the real deal. Trigger is terrible.
Looks like the real deal. Feels like the real deal.
Trigger is like mulling a pissed off donkey across the street. Hate the heavy hard trigger.

Walther P99 Q - CO2 powered semi-auto pistol
June 19, 2013
A great value in a "refurbished" pistol. Other than coming packaged in a plain brown box, the one I received appears brand-new. Fun to shoot and it appears to be reasonably accurate -- and a reasonably accurate replica of the real firearm.
The three-dot sights are just what you want for an "action pistol". They're easy to see and they allow for quick target acquisition. The grip is excellent and feels very natural, at least for my hands.
The accessory rail dimensions seem a little off. I have an NcSTAR light that fits very well on a number of other pistols, but not so well on the Walther, even though it has three slots on its rail. I may have to get an actual Walther accessory light, despite the price. I'm sure fit wouldn't be an issue with a Walther branded light. The safety is a bit awkward to reach, being located on the right-hand side of the pistol. Had it not been for the odd safety, I would have given a five star rating.

Great value

This refurb showed no signs of wear and I swore it was brand new. Works flawlessly and is nicely built.
Realistic look, well balanced and good shots per co2 count.
Heavy trigger pull, but I knew that so it was no surprise.

We confirmed with Umarex that this does indeed have a rifled barrel.

Do the refurbished guns come with the original packaging and accessories? I'm concerned this may be missing the BB or pellet magazines.
By Robert from Ma on August 15, 2012

It didn't arrive in original packaging.
It came in a plain brown box with a label saying refurbished, and a description and model number
It had both mags included and a xerox copy of the manual.
I found. No blemishes or anything on it. Looks new.

I'm guessing you have to pull the slide back to cock it for every shot? And I assume the BBs are loaded automatically during this operation, but what about pellets? Do pellets feed from the magazine like BBs, or do you have to load them one at a time while the slide is open?
It says 360fps which is pretty low for a BB, does anyone have fps #'s for various pellets? Not worth much if pellets only come out at 250 or so.... The only reason I'm considering this gun is because of the looks and rifled barrel.
By Staff on February 28, 2012

You do not have to pull the slide back to cock it, the bbs and pellets are loaded the same way.
