Great pellet rifle
I needed to upgrade from my old Benjamin pump .22 I purchased way back in late '60s. Not having been in the market for one since that purchase, I was very skeptical of the break barrel type of pellet gun. I ended up buying the Ruger Targis about 1 yr ago and couldn't be happier. It hits hard on my longest shots (about 60 yds) and was surprising accurate until recently. I missed way too many shots the past month and was getting worried it was me getting bad until I found out the glass in the scope came loose and was about to fall out. I'd put almost 3,000 rounds through the rifle in the past year without a single gun issue. Just bought a new scope and hoping to be the scourge of the local squirrel population once again.
ProsAccuracy. Safety. Solid construction. I'm a leftie and have no issues at all with any of it's features.
ConsHeavy. Sling gets in the way when cocking barrel so I removed it. Not the most quiet gun.
Best UsesTarget practice, varmit control.

This thing is a tack-driver.
Got one for my birthday. After a bit of fiddling with scope, (loose screws, easily remedied by 3mm Allen tool), and testing ammo, I found I was hitting empty 12 gauge hulls at a laser rangefinder measured 50 yards. Every.Single.Time! Best with Ruger Superpoint 1.1 gram .22 pellets. And, it's very hard-hitting as well! I tried other pellets, and it took some time to re-zero the scope to shoot them as well... .93 gram, RWS superpoints. All in all a very fun, accurate and affordable rifle!
ProsUnder $200. (I have seen as low as $149!) Powerful. Accurate with a bit of tuning and break-in. Confidence builder.
ConsIt's a break-barrel, and has a pretty decent draw-strength. Loose scope mount screws, but that's just a few minutes with the Allen tool to fix.

Great for the price and good for the small hunt
I am new to airgun rifles and was surprised by how much gun I got for under $200. If you have to carry or hold for long periods it is heavy. If you are in the comfort of an upstairs room with a rest for aiming the weight is not a problem.
ProsI read complaints by others about the scope becoming loose so I used a dot of blue thread locker on the mounting screws and have never had any issue at all. Nice 3-9x32 AO scope.
ConsWeighs almost 10 pounds, I think that is a bit heavy for an airgun but I am a newbie at this. By using a blue thread locker on the scope mounting screws, to prevent them vibrating loose, it makes the 'iron sights' useless for any future use.
Best UsesI just harvested a destructive squirrel that won't bother me anymore.

Refurbished Ruger Targis Hunting Combo .22 call
Wow what a great deal. You would never know it was refurbished. Put the scope on and had it sighted in at 40 yards in about 30 shots. Everything works smooth. This airgun is very well balanced and easy to operate. It would be a good air gun to introduce new shooters to. I haven't shot long range yet but I hope to. PS the auto safety is a plus. You load it and the safty is on. Also the price was $50 dollars less than a new one.

Ruger 34
Called it 34 because Umarex did a good job of copying the RWS 34 with this little rifle. The trigger feels just the T05 RWS trigger, which is great. This gun is a best buy for its price range. The best shooting pellets I have found for it are Crosman HP and RWS Superdomes, both average around 700 fps in my gun, plus quiet.

great package for your buck.
So I bought this rifle and I wasn't sure what to expect. It is lighter then the ruger airhawk and has the bonus of the rail. I shot 300 rounds through it today and all but one hit a one foot target. Hitting the bulls-eye was another story. In a 6 inch radius the pellets were flying in every direction, but that was a 50 yard target. So don't expect to be winning any contest with this gun. I tried crossman premier hallow points and they were about a 6-8 inch radius at fifty yards. i also tried the ruger superpoints and they had a 5-6 inch radius on the target.
The scope is great, I like the field of view in it and before I got the rifle in the mail I thought I was going to need a new scope but now I want to buy one more just to get the scope on my ruger 10/22.
The sling is comfy and fits well on the rifle, the iron sights are very good and work well on the rifle.
this rifle is so quiet that I took off my hearing protection cause i really didn't need it.

The only reason this rifle got a 4/5 starts is the clamps on the scope. they are horrid, they loosen almost after every shot and I can always feel them coming loose. But the good news is for about 20$ you can get better scope mounts.
ProsLight good sights good scope fun to shoot great package for new shooter almost no recoil very quiet
Consscope mounts are bad and cheap.
