I have an older (7 year) old model Tech Force 97 without the stamped checkering. While this gun has accounted for 50+ cottontail rabbits over the years, it shoots itself apart. Pins and screws work loose, and the factory scope stop fell off so I had to JB weld the scope mount onto the receiver! Inherent accuracy is unknown as the rear sight fell off and the scope moves around. I need to get within 40' of the rabbits to hit them consistently. The stock is nice and I like the weight of the gun, and it is easy to cock. I am upgrading to a Gamo Silent Cat .22. If you buy one of these be sure to LocTite all pins and screws before use!
