Best Accessories For Plinking Guns

Plinkers, Plink On!

This blog is just for plinkers! If you’re a plinker in any fashion read on! I’m pretty sure that includes most every airgunner, right? Who doesn’t love just sitting at the bench and engaging a simple target repeatedly? If you don’t, you must not enjoy the shooting sport. Back to true plinkers, this blog is going to address the best accessories for you, and that may cover a lot of ground.

That could really cover everything from the optic or not, a bi-pod or rest, lasers, and, of course, targets. Opinions will vary but this is what we think, if you agree or disagree, you can let us know in the comment section, we’d love your feedback!

Depending upon your favorite set-up, being anything from a pump pistol like the Crosman 1322 Pellet Pistol Combo to the FX DRS Pro PCP. Those are two extremes, but the reality is you can plink with just about anything! Let’s talk about pistols first!

If you’re a plinker who loves to grip it and rip it with a Co2 Pistol or a pump here are some great accessories perfect for the fun ahead! We’ll use the Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS Co2 BB Pistol for example because it allows some customization and mods.

One of the best accessories a you can add to your arsenal are extra magazines and clips, prolonging the trigger time is always more fun than the alternative! The Glock 19 has that option. If you like to plink with an imagination, go ahead get you a Deluxe Commando Belt Holster and practice your draw.

For a quick aim-point and easy target acquisition the UTG Red Combat Laser would be great to assist you with that. The red laser gives the Glock 17 a tactical look and feel which makes plinking that much more enjoyable. It doesn’t matter how old you get, it’s always fun to pretend! When you point that laser at the Daisy Shatterblast Targets, squeeze the trigger and watch it crumble, you know the hit was good!

This one also has the Modular Optic System allowing you to mount a red dot, spicing up your session even more! It’s easy to get your tactical on when you accessorize just right.

Plinking is all about getting some relaxing trigger time in, right? Or would you say there’s a serious side to plinking? It may depend on who you are. The more serious plinker may rather shoot the FX DRS PCP with the Element Optics Titan 5-25×56 FFP APR-1C MRAD scope to give themselves a good chance at some accurate long distance shots.

With a pcp, you’ll need an air source like the Air Venturi RovAir 4500 Portable Compressor or Air Venturi Mini Wingman Carbon Fiber Tank to keep the air tank topped off. A good shooting rest is another great accessory for plinkers. The Caldwell TackDriver allows the shooter to utilize it at three different heights.

Some plink for fun and some plink for precision practice, the Birchwood Casey Rimfire KYL is a great target for both types. This target has multiple size paddles, from 2” down to ¼”, giving great precision practice or just some good ole fun spinner action.

There really is an endless amount of accessories for all types of plinkers, we hope this is helpful and gets you at least started. Plink on airgunner, plink on!
