Sometimes airgunners are looking for something bright, something that stands out a head taller than the rest. There are options like customization, DIY, or duct tape. There are many methods for creating originality, or at least something a little different than the rest. There are also some manufacturers that offer brightness right out of the box.
We’ll start with the most affordable choices. You may find that many of these are for specific purposes like the Umarex Embark Youth Air Rifle. This one is specifically intended for youth, to get them started in the sport. The bright color is intriguing and for some young people may be more exciting to shoot with instead of a plain black airgun.
The Embark is a spring piston, single shot, break barrel. This airgun has been utilized by many to teach children how to shoot beginning with safety. Being a single shot airgun, they have to complete a full break of the barrel to take a second shot. That gives the teacher time to help them manage their muzzle and trigger finger habits.

Fire Red
Another great one for beginners is the Norica Omnia ZRS Fire. We won’t limit it to beginners only because avid airgunners may also enjoy this for the same reasons. Sometimes break barrels can be a little tough to conquer if you’re not used to the backwards recoil they produce. The Omnia ZRS Fire takes out the backward recoil by transferring the movement to the barrel rather than into the stock. This eliminates the movement giving the shooter a smoother shot experience without trying to tame the airgun, leading to better accuracy and a more confident beginner.
This one is a bright ocean blue for a reason! The Umarex Air Javelin FishR is purposed for bow fishing pcp style, how fun is that?! If you’ve wanted to go bow fishing but aren’t quite familiar with a compound bow, here’s another option. The FishR gives the action of an air rifle, the requirements to send the arrow into a fish are to load one, cock it, disengage the safety, aim and squeeze the trigger.

Multi-Caliber Options
Onto some multi-caliber options, we’ll start with AirForce. The majority of their air rifles are black, or black is an option. For those who’d like to add a little color to their experience, they also have the AirForce Talon SS Spinloc Red, AirForce Talon SS Spinloc Blue or the AirForce Condor PCP Spinloc Tank Red. Red seems to be a more common theme for them.
Onto some higher end options, like the RAW HM1000x LRT Left Hand Red Laminate or the RAW HM1000x LRT, Blue Laminate. With each airgun you’ll get a different experience, but one thing you can count on is there is something for everyone available. These options from RAW are multi-caliber, as well. They are available in .22, .25, and .30 calibers, and the cocking lever is transferrable from one side to the other making them ambidextrous.
The compact Edgun Lieshy Standard or long is another one that is often an eye catcher with it’s red laminate grip. It’s great for hunting and backyard plinking. It’s available in multiple calibers and is extremely accurate and provides a smooth shooting experience.
Maybe the Brightest
The Air Arms Xti-50 Benchrest may be one that stands out above the rest! This lime green laminate stocked air rifle is purposed for bench rest competitions and is only available in .177. When you show up at the competition, one thing you can count on is you and your air rifle will be noticed. Air Arms has a reputation of producing an accurate and finesse shooting experience for everyone who gets behind their rifles.
Not only will you stand out with the brightness of the Xti-50 but because you’re hitting the mark consistently and are proving to be a tough competitor. Regardless of the caliber or type of airgun you like to shoot, there are plenty of options for the airgunners after something bright!
