Some airgun manufacturers keep pumping out new products and Umarex USA is one of them. If there was a race, they might be leading it! Umarex has several new airguns that are either newly released or coming soon. From budget small bore break barrels to big bore PCPs, Umarex has more options than ever!
Something For Everyone
Regardless of what kind of airgunner you are—a springer only shooter, a medium bore small to medium game PCP hunter, an arrow shooter, or big bore PCPs—they have something for every airgunner alive!
From Big to Little
We’ll start with a big bore air rifle first. You thought we were going from small to large didn’t you? The Umarex Tusk is not available yet, but is coming soon in .357 caliber. With it, you’ll be ready for medium to big game hunting.
The Tusk is a multi-shot repeater with two eight-round magazines included. Its bullpup design will be more up close and personal for the hunting it is intended for. The 500cc bottle will have a max fill pressure of 4,350 PSI. To keep the shots consistent the regulator operates at 3,250 PSI per shot. Do your research and get ready for its release; it may be the perfect air rifle for you!
With a similar look as the Umarex Tusk is the Umarex Gauntlet Limited. The Gauntlet’s definition has always been accuracy— well, maybe not exactly, but maybe it should be! It’s a great platform known for accuracy at greater distances than some of its close competitors.
This one is available in .22, .25, and .30 caliber and has a similar look to the SL2, but not quite the same. The beautiful laminate stock, similarly colored to the Tusk, has an adjustable cheek riser and an accessories rail on the belly of the rifle.
The 575cc bottle fills to 4,350 PSI and the regulator pressure is set at 2,100 for .22; 2,200 for .25; and 2,800 PSI for .30 calibers. It shoots slugs and pellets and is capable of reaching velocities over 1,000 FPS, depending on the pellet/slug weight.
Another Arrow PCP?
The Umarex AirSaber Alpha is a little different from most PCPs and you may have already heard of, seen, or shot one of the AirSaber versions. They’re coming out with a new one, the Alpha! It gives the appearance of a classic rifle with its traditional ambidextrous tan stock.
The Alpha is purposed for hunting and can produce up to 188 FPE and a max velocity of 475 FPS. The weight is similar to a standard rifle at 7.42 lbs and a total length of 41.3 inches. The picatinny optics and accessories rail allows you to mount the optic or accessory of your choice. It’s another great option!
Dual Power Source
Here are a couple tactical options, the Umarex Outpost is coming soon but the Umarex Notos G2 is here and getting shown plenty of love! The Outpost is a dual power system, utilizing nitro air or an included 3,625 psi air tank. It’s available in .25 caliber, has a folding skeletal stock and includes three magazines.
The Notos G2 is an upgrade from the original version, you’ll get more power, more shots, and an upgraded magazine with a higher capacity. This .22 caliber pcp is great for plinking, pesting, and small game hunting.
It’s light, compact, and a joy to operate! The AR style stock is adjustable for length of pull and the almost full length picatinny optics rail allows for almost any optic to be mounted to it. The two stage trigger is adjustable.
Done? Of Course Not!
We’re not done yet, the Umarex Arrax Magnum is another one that is coming soon. It’s a .22 caliber break barrel with a gas piston powerplant. It can produce 1,100 FPS with a twelve grain pellet. The ten shot magazine allows the shooter to achieve quick follow-up shots.
And the final category, Co2 airguns. You can order the Umarex Stormfire, Full Auto Co2 BB Rifle now and the Umarex RidgeTrek is coming soon.
The Stormfire has a classic rifle appearance but the muzzle break gives it more personality. Most BB guns are more fun in full auto, and that’s what you’ll get with this one! Full auto with a cyclic rate of fire of over 2,000 and achieves an fps of 430 fps.
It is a powerful and lightweight BB rifle. The trigger time can proceed in whatever manner the shooter prefers, semi-auto and a 25 round magazine for more precise and timely shots. Then the shooter has the option for full-auto and a 400 round reservoir, for fast-paced, satisfying trigger time.
The RidgeTrek is also powered by Co2, but is a bit different. Its black tactical look includes a lever action like a cowboy rifle. You can utilize the eight round magazine or the 120 BB reservoir. This one is all about fun, taking shot after shot while operating the under lever smoothly and tirelessly.
This three pound, 40 inch long BB rifle is able to reach velocities of 700 fps. The stock is adjustable for length of pull, as well as the sights. If you’re looking for something new, we think we’ve given you a few things to look forward to!
