The Walther 1250 Dominator FT utilizes a compressed air repeating system with an 8-shot rotary pellet clip. The bolt-action feeds the airgun pellet directly into the barrel, resulting in precise long-distance shooting with minimal velocity reduction. This air rifle comes with a fiber optic front and rear sight. For even more precision out of this accurate air rifle, mount a scope on the 11mm dovetail.
The 300 bar (4350 psi) air reservoir delivers 100 shots at 40 joules (29.5 ft-lbs). There's a built-in gauge on the end of the reservoir. The Dominator's fiberglass-reinforced synthetic stock has a Monte Carlo design with cheek pieces on both sides for both right- and left-handed shooters. The checkered forearm and pistol grip help ensure an accurate grip and tight groups with this Walther PCP rifle. The FT model comes with a compensator, 4-16x56 Field Target scope, and an quick-mount adjustable bipod. The Dominator FT rifle comes in a foam lined hard shell case.

Nice rifle at an excellent price

Only fired about 100 rounds so far, but the rifle seems solid, the trigger is pretty good and it appears that when I find the correct pellet the rifle will perform as advertised accuracy wise. Very pleased over all.
Pros:With the design of the rifle, its really nice to get so many shots without recharging the air pressure. Reasonably easy to refill with my Hill Pump.
Cons:For myself, the scope is way over powered relating to the range of a pellet rifle. And being 64 years old. the dots on the cross hairs are just to small to see when sighting on something dark. Have to swing off target to find them and go back to the target to fire.

Answer:With the sound suppressor on the gun, it is reasonably quiet. I would say along the lines of popping a small balloon. So I would go with the combo version over the rifle alone. I live in a neighborhood where the houses are within 500 - 1000 feet of each other and I have had no complaints from my b=neighbors about the sound of the rifle when I shoot birds, squirrels or targets.
As for the gun itself, it is AWESOME!! Incredibly accurate right out of the box and more so once you dial in the scope. I highly recommend this rifle. Just make sure you get all of the parts necessary to hook it up to a scuba tank to fill it full of air or your will be searching for the stuff instead of shooting the gun!
