Walther Parrus, Wood

  • Code: AGD-40767771 · .177 · 1300 fps
Out of Stock
The Walther Parrus is a German-engineered adult air rifle with reliable magnum velocity. It is a spring-operated, break barrel pellet rifle that creates power and results. The Walther Parrus is the next version of the smooth-shooting Terrus model. Its steady, single-stroke cocking mechanism produces a muzzle energy of 22 foot-pounds, ideal for small game in the field. The .177 caliber is capable of 1300 feet per second and the .22 caliber 1000 feet per second. The Parrus is ready for action with a micro-adjustable open rear sight and hooded TruGlo fiber optic front sight. It has a ½-inch UNF threaded muzzle, which is popular among European shooters for silenced recreational shooting. The Walther Parrus has an XT Trigger with adjustable first stage travel, automatic safety, and an 11 mm dovetail rail ready for scope mounting. It has an attractive wood stock with subtle checkering and a rubber recoil pad.

Really nice hunting rifle even in .177

Pros
very powerful and accurate. Gun is well balanced with decent open sights. Hitting tin cans at 35 yards. Nice to have wood stock on German made gun for $150!

Cons
Needs scope stop. My guess is this gun would be very hard on scopes. Hard recoil due to powerful mainspring

Great recommendation by AGDepot.Very well made and other than a bit heavy, when you first pick it up, it's a pretty serious shooter. Very accurate and packs a whallop!! Nice. (Thanks Mat)

Pros
Accurate. Powerful.

Cons
Will build a little muscle if your doing a lot of shooting.

Is this in a 22cal in a nitro spring for same price?

asked Douglas from USA

This gun only comes with a steel coil mainspring in both calibers. The shot cycle (Lock Time) is so quick that you could not tell the difference in a coil or gas spring. One of my most accurate and favorite guns.

What can I do to quiet down this air rifle

asked John from USA

the tip is removable you can add a decibel-reduction device.

Dru from USA
