A proven Crosman favorite for four decades, this dependable rifle offers an experience all its own. With this starter kit, you'll be sure to have everything you need to get your younger shooter started!
At less than 3 lbs., it's a great starter air rifle. The stock and forearm are made of a durable synthetic that takes lots of use and still looks good. An economical rifle, the Pumpmaster takes up to 10 pumps to send BBs 625 fps and pellets 600 fps. The checkering on the grip and the indentations on the pump handle make it that much easier to get a grip and stay on target. Ideal for shooting very small rodents (at close range), plinking and target shooting. (Never shoot BBs at hard objects!) It's so light that you can shoot all day! Suitable for younger shooters (with adult supervision) and smaller adults.
Pellets are loaded into a 5-shot clip, while BBs have an 18-shot magazine, which is fed from the 200-shot reservoir. It comes with a fiber optic front sight, but you can get even more accuracy by mounting a scope or red dot on the 11mm dovetail rail.

I was testing it before Christmas just to see if it worked (Didn't want a broken gun for Xmas). Easy to load and pump. It is a great starter gun for anyone. The accuracy was awesome, not too loud. I definitely have a lot of fun with this gun. Just used the guns sights so far not the scope yet.
Pros:Accuracy, BB and Pellet, Great starter gun. Comes with a lot of stuff.

Bought this gun a few months ago. Yesterday the stock broke off as I was pumping it. So as far as reliability goes, I would not recommend it. It's also kind of a pain to load in the pellets. I ended up buying a pair of tweezers to seat the pellets, but as far as accuracy and standard BB shooting, it works great.

I received this gun 4 years ago for Christmas when i was 12, it was my first gun and fun at that. It was a great beginners gun, and i liked the add-ons that came with it. but other than it being a good begging gun it is not a good gun for experienced shooters on the count of it being slow, multi-pump and non semi-automatic.
Pros:comes with scope, pellets, BB's and protection glasses nice weight
Cons:pump heaviness low fps

I added this to my arsenal as hind of a personal piece of history. It's the gun I learned to shoot with. It's reliable and basically accurate and recoilless. It's a great starter gun.

I went through two of these in my youth. My dad used it to kill rock squirrels and ground squirrels that he would live trap. A BB would easily penetrate the skull at point-blank range. As for accuracy and hunting, at very close range, I used to kill ground squirrels. It had enough power, but not so much that one would worry about long range danger. Great starter rifle.

PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS. I don't have a new one, but borrow the 40-yr old one that was purchased for me in the early 70's. I like the ability to control the power by the number of pumps. I taught my kids to shoot using it with about 3 pumps at about 10 yards. from other reviews I've seen, it hasn't lost the ability to do the basics VERY WELL. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have rifling - so if you are looking for maximum accuracy, you probably want to look at something with rifling.

i bought this gun a couple years ago and it has yet to fail me,the sights are very accurate out of the box.the overall power is very even, its powerful enough to destroy hundreds of cans yet not to powerful to where you wouldnt feel right to give it to youre son or daughter, excellent gun.
