The Crow Magnum pellet is designed for those shooters who wanted a heavier hollow point with a gigantic forward expansion cup. A key objective of the new design was to provide exceptional stability, and thus long range accuracy for the higher power adult airguns on the market. A yawning mouth and greater forward weight was included resulting in one of the world's most accurate field pellets. In independent testing, a .25 caliber Crow Magnum pellet recovered from a feral pigeon had nearly doubled in size to .41 caliber when shot at 25 yards! Easily one of the most unique pellets we have ever designed, the Crow Magnum was bestowed a Product Award of Merit by American Firearms Industry magazine

Knockdown power
February 13, 2013
![]()
I tested this pellet with my Benjamin Discovery, shooting into a block of modeling clay. I also tested Superdome, SuperH, and Premier hollowpoint. A long and heavy pellet made to high standards. Made a entry hole that I could see from my shooting position. POP-THWACK! Penetration was only about 2 inches, but, the hole was huge. Expansion was perfect with every shot, expanding to about 9MM diameter.
Pros:Knockdown power and excellent expansion. Serious hunting pellet.Cons:Nothing |

"Crow" Magnum for a reason
January 18, 2013
![]()
I've been a crow hunter for some time now and these pellets don't disappoint, given the the correct propulsion system (in my case an RWS 48). I've taken crow with instant results with this pellet. However, it's almost impossible to tell how much the pellet expands on the rotten black bird as it goes completely through.
Phone book results show good expansion at 40 M with incredible pellet expansion.
Pros:Accurate at medium distance. Humane kill shots for crow hunting. |

Must buy

Bought a tin of these and some polymags and they both rock! Polymags score in accuracy but both are straight knockdown down! Have been knocking squirrels out of the trees with a good shot. The crow mags land with a very satisfactory thump everytime.
Cons:Tin size, should be more and not screw top. |

Not accurate.

They do hit hard with good expansion, but not very accurate. It is a very long pellet and takes some effort to push into barrel. Shooting in a RWS Diana Mdl. 34. Shot groups with the Crow Magnum are Much larger than with the Beeman FTS round nose. Very Disappointed. Can't use them for hunting.
Pros:nothingCons:inaccurate. 5 inch groups at 25 yards. |

HITS HARDER THAN MIKE TYSON DID IN HIS EARLY DAYS!!!!
April 12, 2012

These pellets are worth every cent for them. They fly straight, hit hard and expand completely upon impact for what must be a massive shock to any critters system! They punched through a 5/8" board of walnut when most others either just penetrated enough to stick to the board or bounce off it! You MUST have these in your arsenal to be succesfull!!!
Pros:They hit Hard, They Hit Hard and they Hit HARD!!!Cons:There's nothing I dislike about the round itself, but they could make them in 250 or 500 tins!!!!! |

Beeman Crow Magnum .22 Pellet
January 28, 2012
![]()
I'm using these in a Benjamen NPXL1100 and after the gun was broken in, these offer good accuracy shooting indoors at about 60 feet. Haven't given them a good test outdoors at longer distances yet.
Pros:clean, consistent, acdurate in my gunCons:Too expensive to use for regular target practice. Not asaccurate as the JSB Exact Jumbo 18.1, in my gun, but you may get diffirent results |

Beeman Crow Magnums .22 cal
May 25, 2011

I shoot a Gamo Breakbarrel in .22 caliber. These crow magnums are by far the best ammo I have used...bar none. I shoot ground squirrels 3 to 5 days a week. The pellets seat tight in the barrel and are extremely accurate. The little squirrels require head shots for clean kills and these pellets really do the job.

very good pellets

These things are great for most airguns because of how fast they kill. Today and yesterday i have shot a total of 5 cowbirds and grackles with my airforce condor using these pellets. I was at my friends house and when I shot a cowbird on top of a telephone pole, It died so fast It didnt even fall until a strong gust of wind came. That was from about 50 yards too! This morning I saw a grackle land on anothe pole and aimed at it offhand from 30 yards. boom! I looked like i had missed though, but then the bird slowly fell forward. Last week i also got a 1/2 inch group at 30 yards!!!! Leaves gaping wounds also!!!!

some people that it might be their guns are shooting inaccurately b/c of a break in peorid, something in the barrel, or the windage of whare they are shooting so in no wind or with a well sighted in gun they might work considerably better

The pellets do make a big hole in a crow, but the accuracy suffers at longer distances. Good for closer shots.

Great pellets! makes woodchucks dead!
The expansion of the cup is very, very impressive probably close to 30cal or more when properly expanding on small game but they drop considerably past 30yards.

Hollow Point
June 18, 2007
![]()
AGD sent me a can of RWS hollow point instead of the Crow Magnums that I ordered. However, I am quite pleased with the RWS hollow point. They're VERY accurate! And accuracy is key for hollow point effectiveness in hunting. My RWS hollow points are about 14.2 gr. and they smash out flat while penetrating a half inch board. Not all went through, but many of them did.

The pellets are great for hunting. They did not retain consistant accuracy over 40 yards from my Tech Force 99 compared to the recommended pellets for my gun. But other than that, they do what they claim. They will take down a target.
