Q&A
By Jim from San Bruno, CA on July 2, 2012
What powers this gun?

By Staff on July 2, 2012

Answer:
Jim,

This air rifle is a break barrel and it is powered by a nitro piston.

Sincerely,
The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
By Chevota from CA on July 12, 2012

Answer:
Your arm in cocking it. It's just like all the other break barrels except the spring is pneumatic instead of the standard coil spring

Are you able to put a bipod on the Benjamin Regal Nitro Piston .177 caliber Magnum Air Rifle?
By Conor from Sunnyside, WA on August 11, 2012

Answer:
Yes. A bipod is available from Airgun Depot here, in the accessories page. Any one that will clamp onto the barrel will work.

By Tony from salinas ca. on June 13, 2012
is it really that quiet and can it shoot bb's? If not do u know of a really quite quality bb gun?

By Staff on June 14, 2012

Answer:
this is a quiet pellet gun that does NOT fire bb's.

If you type in bb or use the search on our site, all of the bb guns are very quiet.

By LeRoy from Sundance, WY on July 25, 2012
How good is the scope? Does it move a lot? How is the accuracy?
By Conor from Sunnyside, WA on August 11, 2012

Answer:
I've shot this rifle, with the factory scope mounted, and the scope was good, but not durable enough for this rifle. The crosshairs were twisting in the scope, revealing that the scope was broken internally. Accuracy is fair, good enough for max 50yds.

By Somdee from Luangprabang, Laos on August 18, 2012

Do you know when this will be offered in 22 cal. ? Thank you,
Brent
By Chevota from CA on July 12, 2012

Answer:
I doubt they'll ever make one but you can buy a .22 barrel from Crosman for ~$16, plus another $8 or so for some needed parts, +$4 shipping. That way you can have a dual caliber gun...

By Lisa from New York on July 29, 2012
What type of pellets does it shoot? What is available for best performace?

By Conor from Sunnyside, WA on August 11, 2012

Answer:
It shoots .177 pellets. The Crosman line of pellets will work, or, the H&N/Beeman will also work well in this rifle.

By Mike from So. Ca. USA on July 11, 2012
What country is this gun made in?
By Chevota from CA on July 12, 2012

Answer:
China, like most all of them are.

By George from California on June 1, 2012
What is the rated trigger pull?
Is the trigger pull adjustable?
By Chevota from CA on June 14, 2012

Answer:
It varies between guns, but it's around 5lbs. It's the same trigger used on most all the Crosman, Rem, Benj guns. The triggers are adjustable, very adjustable, but in order to do that you have to replace the oem adj screw with a longer one. It seems the oem screw is short on purpose to prevent people from adjusting it too light and therefore unsafe.
It's a very nice gun, I'm tempted myself and I don't even need it.

By Joe Dz from Harvard, MA on June 23, 2012
The Regal looks to me to be a Benjamin Trail .177 mounted in a Venom stock (no pistol grip). Is that what it is or is it a new custom design? I don't care for pistol grips, so it looks fine to me.
By Chevota from CA on July 12, 2012

Answer:
Actually it's the Remington Summit stock with a Nitro spring and tube body like used in the Titan (not the Trail) and a shrouded barrel like the Trail but in .177. The Venom stock is very different and uglier than this one. This is one of the nicest stocks they make.
So no, no custom design here, all previously used parts simply put together differently to make a "new" model.

By John from Milwaukee, WI on July 15, 2012
Does this rifle also have open sights? Or just the scope?
By Staff on July 16, 2012

Answer:
John,
No, the Benjamin Regal Nitro Piston .177 Caliber Magnum Air Rifle doesn't have open sights. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

By manny from Alpine on July 16, 2012
Will this rifle last longer than the spring piston?

By Bryan from Saratoga, CA on June 26, 2012
Is that a solid barrel?
By Staff on June 26, 2012

Answer:
That is a break barrel rifle, so you pull the barrel down to cock it.
