Excellant Gun
February 12, 2012
![]()
I just picked thing gun up about 4 days ago and I am loving it. Not only does it have a great weight to it but the fully metal clip that slides out of the bottom is also a great feature that adds to the realistic feel. I've been able to hit bottles from about 40 yards with this thing and it has enough power to go the distance without dropping too much. The safety is also nice and tight so I don't have to worry about that slipping off either. Overall I say its a superb gun for the price.
Pros:Great heavy feel Full metal clip good accuracy good powerCons:the handle slides off sometimes when replacing co2, but is easily re-attachable |

Beretta Elite II bb gun
February 5, 2013
![]()
Works rather well. Has a good feel and weight. Loads rather easily and has good accuracy. Has enough hitting power to go through soda cans at 30 feet. Will penetrate the can at 60. I use it to chase the squirrels away when I cant get to my rifle. For the price it is worth it. It does not waste gas since there is no blow back feature that other guns have.
Pros:Not expensive , good power at close range, and a good weight.Cons:Safety in on the right side of gun way up front , it should be on the left. No ability to adjust the sight, fixed sight. |

Excellent Air Gun for the Price!
December 8, 2012
![]()
I love to shoot firearms, and never thought I would have so much fun with an air gun until I invested in this Beretta Elite. Cheap to shoot, very fun when just plinking or target shooting, and will shoot about 100 times accurately with same CO2 cartridge. I even have a thick foam pad and use targets to practice in the house when it's too cold to go outside. This was my first CO2 purchase, but have since purchased 2 more, but I still love my Beretta Elite!
Merchant Response:Yes thank you Scott. We did catch that mistake and made the change. Thanks for bringing that to our attention though.Pros:Accurate sights, you can shoot over 100 BB's before changing CO2. Realistic look and feel, and fun for all ages.Cons:Not much, but I would love AirGunDepot.com would advertise the same fps as on the product's package. When I purchased the Beretta, the site claimed it shot 480fps, but the Umarex box only claims 410fps. Believe me, there's almost no difference in those, but please advertise the products honestly. Otherwise, I love dealing with AirGunDepot! |

Fantastic FUN !
September 11, 2012
![]()
Bought this Beretta Elite II for my girlfriend after reading many reviews and comparing it to other CO2 pistols. She LOVES it and is having a blast , especially since I also bought a Walther Shot Spot Universal Laser which Airgundepot sells for a great low price. Took me a little while to finally sight in the laser but now is dead on. Seems that the laser works better than using the open sights. The pistol has more than enough FPS for her use and the first couple of clips are hard hitting. The pistol is a bit 'light in heft ' but not too light weight like a cheap toy. Only draw back for her is that her hands are a bit small, but she can still pull the trigger okay and have fun. Really a good value for the money and detail is excellent too. Nice pistol to add to your collection and loads of fun!
Pros:Drop out clip Nice detailed look Hard hitting feet per second About 100+ rounds per CO2 canisterCons:Could be slightly heavier in feel (fine for her anyways) Has a somewhat long trigger pull Does not have adjustable iron sights Needs small fingers to change the CO2 |

This gun is really fun to have. The overall look is strikingly like a real Beretta. However, it jammed pretty badly when I first shot it. I was able to take it apart and fix a minor obstruction in the barrel, which fixed the problem. Ever since then, the gun has been incredibly reliable with a great amount of accuracy thanks to the sights and overall power it has.
Pros:-Look and feel of the gun -Iron sights are very useful -Very affordableCons:-Tends to jam once in a blue moon |

I bought this BB gun for some shooting fun because it is nearly impossible to get a real gun where I live in Hawaii. I have shot several kinds of BB guns in the past and I have to say this one is the best. The hand grip does tend to rattle the more the gun is used but it is not a big deal. Other than that, I have had it for only a couple of days and I have already shot 100+ BB's with the same CO2 cartridge.
Overall, my experience with this gun is that it has been a lot of fun to shoot and it is definitely worth the 50 bucks!
Pros:Lots of power, great CO2 endurance, functions well, and it's decently priced for it's level of quality.Cons:Sliding hand grip is a little loose...could have been made better. |

Overall, i think this is a great gun. Has plenty of power and can hit a normal sized pie pan up to 75 yards (but i haven't tried farther). i can get a good 4 clips before the shots get weak. it also has a nice clip,it loads easily, and it can it can hold 19 bbs. you can load a 20th one but don't because when you put the clip in the gun the 20th one comes out and stops the spring from going up. has a nice realistic feel on it. also i like the grip. it feel great and for me it doesn't wobble. i didn't think id like the safety but its nice that if you aiming at a target and forget to disengage it, all you have to do is move your finger up an inch to disengage it and you don't have to lose your aim overall, a great gun for beginners, but it might be a little large for kids under 10. my only complaint is that the trigger pull is kinda long, but you'll get that with most double action guns

great gun for the price
June 8, 2011
![]()
Yes, it's cheap, plastic gun with 'faked' immovable details but it is still great gun for many reasons (one of them is price, of course :-)
This was my first CO2 gun and after the Umarex Beretta Elite II I bought few other much more expensive and realistic guns, including Cybergun GSG-92 full metal replica of the same Beretta 92, which definitely provide more fun playing with all these fully functioning parts like hammer, safety, slide stop, blow back action, even full field strip.., however I return to this plastic version of Beretta again and again for one obvious purpose - shooting! First of all it's quite accurate and absence of the moving parts makes it spend CO2 for nothing but shooting. You can have up to 100 good shots with a single CO2 cylinder (vs. 30-50 with realistic blow back action guns). When CO2 gets weaker and gun starts losing some accuracy you just switch from shooting paper targets to plinking cans and the fun continues.
Second - it has one of the most convenient mag's design for loading BBs (the spring can be fixed in the lower position for loading and then released with the small button on the bottom of the mag). Third - nicely balanced 'pseudo' double action trigger effort (since it needs neither cock the hammer nor rotate any rotary magazine) comparing to more realistic double action (sometimes too heavy) or single action guns (sometimes too sensitive). And finally the light weight (1.5 lb) makes this gun my kids favorite.
The only thing I do have to admit needs improvement is the sliding grip for installing CO2; it goes on and off indeed too easily; but look at the price again! Isn't it a deal?!

This is a very good gun for the money. I was slightly worried before purchasing from reading the reviews, however I gave it a shot (pun intended) and am fairly happy with it. A main concern that I read with some of the reviews was that the clip would jam sometimes.
I too had this problem once, however there was an easy solution. As soon as you load the clip a BB is injected into the "chamber" from the clip. If you remove the clip with BB's still in the clip you have to turn the handle to your hand and tap the handle in your hand to get out the loose BB from the "chamber" otherwise this will cause the clip to jam when inserting it back in. Otherwise great pistol!
Pretty accurate at 50 feet. Remember as the CO2 diminishes the gun loses power and will lose some accuracy. This can be compensated with a higher aim.

Magazine gets stuck semi-often as bb's sometimes leak out of projectile mechanism and the magazine gets stuck in gun. Range is acceptable. Gets like 50 shots before you need a new c02.
A good poor mans BB gun. Spend an extra 50 bucks and get another one.

I purchased the Elite II from Airgundepot about 2 months ago and have probably shot maybe 2000 rounds so far keeping hawks from taking 3 mallard ducklings that are being raised in a small lake we live on.
The gun is accurate. I'm getting around 90-100 quality shots from a CO2. The design is excellent in details as well as: the built in thumb screw to engage the CO2 cartridge is excellent and you don't waste any CO2 when you push it into the pin. The 2 spare bb clips is both easy to load and a must for any serious bb gun user. The price is for the gun and the clips is a deal, end of discussion.
I have only one suggestion and that is put 2 white dots on rear sight to help you line up your shot quicker. I took a small drill bit and made indentions (not deep mind you) and had my wife put a little bit of "white-out" that she used when we actually used typewriters. Hope this review helps you....IMO, this is the bb gun to buy.

I love this gun! Shoots very nice. I have a P14 45 that I use to shoot a lot at a range, but because of my health I have not been able to shoot recently. This gives me something that I can shoot around the house out my sliding glass door with my nephew that gives me some of what I use to do. Ok, it's not the same as the real deal, but it's still fun.
I have one issue with this gun. The magazine doesn't pop out when I hit the button. It's not a matter of just hitting the palm of my hand to get it to release I have to use a tool to pull it out. That's a big pain. Matter of fact having to use a tool has made it so when I load the BBs I have to hold the spring up because it won't stay by itself like it did originally. I got a offer to return the gun, but didn't want to go through the hassle and didn't know if I'd get charge for shipping or not. Anyway, besides that I love this gun!

This gun is a good weight, very durable, and VERY realistic in size. The part on the handle that slides back where you put in the co2 cartridge does tend to rattle a little bit but considering the price and the nice range and power of the gun, that is a very minor problem. OVERALL it is the best co2 gun for the price yet.

Beretta Elite II
September 14, 2009
![]()
The Beretta Elite II CO2 Pistol is a very realistic replica of the real thing! It is made entirely of polyner materials, but it gives the gun a metal-like shine and look. The sights are both fixed (front and rear), the front sight having a white dot painted on it for fast target acquisition. This pistol shoots at a claimed 480 feet per second, and is consistent with that velocity up until the CO2 runs out. I normally get 100 good, powerful shots before I notice that the CO2 is running out, which is an enormous amount of shots for any 12 gram CO2 cartridge. This gun shoots ONLY in double action (the hammer is fixed on the gun and does not function - this attributes to MUCH more shots per CO2 cartridge). The drop-out clip is made of metal and is claimed to hold 19 BB's (I use Crosman copper-coated BB's), but you could squeeze a 20th round in it if you'd like (you may want to consider buying more clips because you will always be shooting it!!!). My favorite part of the gun is the grip. It is texture- molded and looks sick, and slides back to house the CO2 cartridge (I use Crosman 12 gram cartridges). The safety is located on the side of the gun and when ON, the trigger is limp and light (it doesn't restrict you from pulling it all the way). As far as trigger pull goes, it is very, very crisp and light (for me, anyway). Not only is this gun EXTRMELY powerful, but it is also EXTREMELY accurate - especially for a BB gun. You can hit a normal sized can EASILY from 50 feet. This gun is heavy and sharp-looking and may confused as a firearm, so be careful!! Overall, I think that Beretta and Umarex have done a fantastic job with a great plinker for under $50!!! Have fun!!!

Very Impressive

The Beretta Elite 2 suprised me. It looked and felt very realistic, and the power it had was very, very impressive. At first, when your not used to it, it can be a bit difficult to shoot the gun accuratley, but once you get the hang of it, it gets much easier. Personally, I believe it is a very accurate gun when the Co2 cartridge is decently full. Extremely fun plinking gun, and do to some sirirous impact power it is rare for the BB's to bounce back at you, which is a good thing. It can hit targets from pretty vast distances and maintaine most of its power which is all the more fun for plinkers. The only thing I did not like, was that over time, the handguard will start to wobble a bit, but it is not a big issue. Overall, great gun. Intense power, accurate if you know how to shoot it, and it has a very realisitc weight, and look to it. I recommend to anybody that will not missuse it, (Because trust me, getting hit with this would cause sirrious (Possibly fatal) injury.

If You're looking for a higher quality co2 pistol and not willing to put a large dent in your wallet then the Elite 2 is just for you. At a sturdy 1.5 pounds, this power house can generate great accuracy along with an added amount of realism to the shooting experience. Right out of the package, after not firing an air gun for 5 years, broke 3 pencils in half at about a 40 ft distance. My only recommendation is to buy the two extra clips airgundepot sells along with plenty of ammo because you wont want to put it down.

First let me say this gun has some serious power. I was hitting cans from a hundred feet! Overall the power and accuracy were awesome. The first problem I had was the magazine jammed right away. I pryed it out with a screwdriver and it seemed to work better after ejecting it a few times. Also the grips that slide back for the CO2 get kind of loose after some usage. If the manufacturer invested a little more into quality and upped the price a little, it would be a perfect gun.

not bad
May 11, 2009
![]()
the beretta elite ll is a decent gun, but it's not very reliable. first of all the co2 compartment allows gas to escape before the top of the cartridge is pierced all the way, and that lowers the maximum amount of shots you could get per cartridge. another problem is that the outside of the gun is not well built and the top part (the thin layer of plastic on top of the barell) always rattles and cracks very easily. also, even the slightest tap on the side of the barrall will jam the safety and it will get stuck on something. lastly, the rubber coating on the back of the grip comes off very easy and pretty much the rest of the paint scratches very easy as well.
however, the gun is great for the price and it's good for beginners. the velocity is great for a pistol and it's got decent accuracy at 20 ft. as for Umarex's attempt to make a value-oriented pistol, all i got to say is - a swing and a miss.
