Perfect

I am new to pellet guns etc. I had an air gun when I was around 14. I am well versed in powder guns but the pellet guns bring me a great deal of joy. The loader is very good and easy to use.
Pros:
Safer than regular powder guns and you can shoot pretty much anywhere.

Look closely before you buy
March 19, 2013
While I thought the idea seemed great online and the price was cheap, that's about all I found from it. For some odd reason, I expected this to be a pen that dispensed a pellet with the click of a button. I suppose that's true if the "button" is as long as the pen, slides out completely, and does not click. Basically, this is just a hollow pen long enough to hold 16 pellets. The nose of the pen has a stop to keep the pellets from falling out, however the back does not. You get a red stick along with the pen that is used to push the pellets through as you need them. When the pen is holding 16 pellets the stick will not also fit into the pen without falling out because it is much too long. If the pen is half full, the stick still protrudes out the back half the length of the pen. This is annoying to fit into your pocket. Also, while pushing out pellets, it is easy to dispense more than one.
Pros:
-The challenge, I now have to discover a practical use for this device.
Cons:
-The fact that I wasted five dollars on it. -The "full" pen will not have enough room for the stick -Even a pen not full still allows too much of the stick to protrude -It does not fit into a pocket well if you plan to use it as intended -Pellets fall out of the back then stick is not in.

Crosman .177 cal Pellet Loader
December 27, 2012
This unit works as advertised. Two items keeps it from a 5 star rating. It is easy to double load. It doesn't always set pellet consistently. Developed a method to overcome factory shortcomings. First, carefully slide the pellet out about way. Second, insert the -exposed pellet into the barrel. Third, push pellet (with finger) into barrel for a controlled seat. A spring loaded steel ball with dimple-lock counterpart would cure the double load and variable insertion depth factory issues.
Pros:
Fast to load Convenient to carry More efficient than loading gun one at a time with fingers!
Cons:
It is easy to double load and doesn't always seat pellet consistently.

Good but not the Best
December 16, 2012
Not as good as the "Pellet Pen." It won't hold as many pellets and you can't see your pellet count. The plunger has a tendency to fall out. I got this because it was cheaper than the Pellet Pen and I wanted to compare the two. Does the same job of loading a stack of pellets but you get what you pay for. I think it's worth $3 as a stocking stuffer.
Pros:
As advertised, it will load a short stack of pellets.
Cons:
Only holds a short stack of pellets or else the plunger has a tendency to fall out. You can't see your pellet count and in my opinion it is not worth even the sale price $3 or $4 at most.
