Amazing gun
By Gino on June 13, 2011
Easy to reload, very accurate, high damage, easy to load bbs, fun to shoot, not heavy at all, realistic looking, just an awesome gun, especially for the price, for anyone who wants a gun to just have an awesome time with without getting mad about bad features, which it doesnt have, i would highly recommend it, and its a great price, i love it!!

A really fun gun. Several option for rate of fire. Much more accurate than I thought it would be. Single shot mode will stick BB's into plywood at plus or minus 20 yards. I'm impressed and addicted to shooting it. Got the bulk tank adaptor, hours of fun. stock up on BB's. Nothing is safe when I'm blasting away.

Fun to shoot
By Rob from Usa on January 1, 2012
This is strictly a fun plinker and it is a real blast to shoot, I like the way it loads because it keeps you shooting without any real reloading
Mine is a little temperamental at times and I have a little trouble with the burst selector.

Pros:
Fun, fast and easy
Cons:
Its kind of ugly. And it shoots like a garden hose I don't even bother with the sites.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

This happened to be my first BB rifle purchase and I couldn't be more pleased! I really liked the size of it as I'm of average size and build (5'8" 145lbs). I was surprised at the heft after fully loading it, it definitely increased and made it more substantial. I must advise, make sure you load it with fresh new batteries! I had put some in that I thought were "good to go" and was left dumb founded as to why this new gun wasn't firing. It made clicking sounds so initially I didn't assume it was the batteries but after going through the process of elimination (changing the CO2 canisters, trouble shooting) I changed them with "newer" ones. This seemed to do the trick as I pulled the trigger and they popped, zinging out the end of the barrel (every setting was on MAX, of course!). I was outside so don't let troubleshooting something make you complacent and do something foolish like squeezing the trigger indoors haphazardly! I do plan on purchasing new batteries the next time I'm out and about.
I recommend this rifle due to its inexpensive price tag, ease of use and it's just an overall fun thing to shoot with its 8 round burst mode. It does empty its built in magazine fairly quickly so I would also suggest, along with new batteries, buying a lot of BB's and extra CO2!

Pros:
Cheap price tag, 8 round burst mode (variable selectors), design, overall weight & size (fully loaded)
Cons:
Battery door - I would like to have seen a better fit, possibly a twist lock.
Side rails - Functioning side rails would have been nice.
Barrel - A metal barrel with extension capabilities.
Safety switch - Having it next to the grip would be nice.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

fun little gun, not a toy.
By James from Fayetteville, NC on December 7, 2011
I am in the line of shooting people killers, but I wanted to shoot around my backyard. in 540 single shot, a steel BB would be lethal to a small animal or cause serious harm if you are goofing around. I was curious and put a single 540fps in my garage wall, it's stuck in the plywood after it easily slipped through the interior wall. I am not too impressed with the 4 and 8 shot bursts, for they are very slow. I am running 20oz CO2 tank on a coil line. It should have plenty of air behind it, but I am not sure how the air chamber is set up. Fun!
Pros:
Powerful in single shot
Good looks and has good hold.
Lots of fun.
Cons:
Recommend the adapter for larger tank smaller tanks lose pressure quick and start to add up.
Burst just sucks, sorry.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Umarex Easeful Brawny Occision System (EBOS)
By April Sebastian from San Diego, California on November 14, 2011
Instead of the AirSource 88g CO2 cartridges, I used the JT 90g CO2 cartridges, because you can get two for only $11.95 locally at Walmart. This seems to work just as well at the 88g CO2, but much cheaper. I'm still amazed how powerful this BB rifle is. I shot through 6 layers of cardboard box and two carpets to break the plastic chair behind that was holding everything up. Plus, with the Red Dot laser I mounted on the bottom rail, the EBOS is extremely easy to use and aim with, not to mention amazingly accurate. I love this BB Rifle!
Pros:
This airgun feels very solid. There are rails everywhere I would need them. It shreds stuff from 50 feet.
Cons:
If you fill the reservoir with more than 200 BBs, it can prove cumbersome to shake them into the built in clip. You need a laser in order to get a high accuracy, because the sights are really wide.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

A lot of fun, if you've been thinking of this I say go for it. Two or three 4 round bursts on a creek near you will surly bring a smile to your face. I'm gonna hook up a high pressure tank and hose and get a little more power in cool weather and the tail end of the bursts will pick up strength too. Power is very good to 200 shots or so then drops down a knotch but is still good for another 50+ shots. Loading the 24 rounds in the mag by shaking is a little bit of a pain but with a little practice it might not be to bad. Check out some forums for mods for even more fun.

An Effective Weapon in Closed Quarters!
By CowDad on July 26, 2011
I ordered this gun as a defensive backup when dealing with an unfriendly pitbull who lived in the other side of the duplex until recently. I own the duplex, but I had trouble getting the woman next door to get rid of this dog, who was harrassing my cocker spaniel, and the dog has barked and charged at me. The afternoon the gun came, I tested it in the front yard. BB's did stick in the front fence.
The next morning I went outside and the dog growled at me and took a couple of steps my way. I returned this expression of hostility with electronic bursts of steel. The dog stood his ground for a moment, so I continued firing. Then the pitbull ran. The green dot from the laser site kept up with the dog and proved worth the investment. At one point, the mongrel hid behind some boards. The pepper spray I had in my pocket did an effective job of flushing him in the open, and I continued firing until his owner opened the door and he ran to safety.
The next morning I did the same thing. After that, the dog moved for health reasons.
The EBOS proved to be accurate, reliable with unsurpassed stinging power.
Five stars across the board.

Cool for a bb gun
By Dave Cole on May 25, 2011
For the money, it's a cool BB gun as BB guns go. I got to fire one of these and it was fun. The FPS really falls off when you switch to the 4 and 8 shot mode. Best to be quick on the single shot mode. The magazine only holds 24 BB's (400 in the reserve) and it you can blow through a set pretty quick. I need to figure out how to bypass the magazine and go straight from the reservoir and be able to hook up a paintball tank to it for all day fun.

Be sure to get a a laser. You'll need it for any kind of accuracy.

Really neat gun. Surprisingly accurate (better precision/pattern size than my breakbarrel gamo). Pretty powerful for the first 200 rounds or so of the co2 cartridge. Definitely buy a piccatini rail rider so u can add a scope. Loud but not obnoxiously so.

Ebos Tactical Rifle
By Dana Marzolf on March 24, 2011
This is one of the funnest rifles to shoot. May I make a suggestion? Do the modification and go with bulk Co2, I did and its awesome ! No problems at all, easy to load the magazine easy to install batteries, lots of shooting options to choose from. I can tell you it is allot of fun and I went through 3000 BB's a the local shooting range and 2- 20oz Co2 tanks, all this without a glitch and more fun than should be allowed. No drawbacks, rifle is light but heavy enough, no jams, no mis-fires, just perfect shooting. I suggest bulk air modification, laser beam, and a scope. Then it complete

Great Tactical Airgun (One Flaw)
By Alex on February 3, 2011
The Umarex EBOS is a great Tactical Airgun. It is very fun backyard BB Gun with powerful and acurate single and burst shots. Peirces plastic with ease and tears cans up! I highly reccomend CO2 conversion.(see youtube) Although the EBOS does have one flaw, leaving the batteries in the handle for the electronic trigger will drain even the best batteries very quickly. Overall 4 Stars

Must have. get a laser with this gun!!
If ur going to buy this gun, i reccomend Alot of co2. does run out fast but its so worth but if u do get a laser get a green one. its easier to see to the human eye other than red lasers. and lasers make this thing 95% accurate.

only problem is i dont know any normal stores that sell co2 for this gun, does it only take 88 gram? stuff is expensive o.o but worth it.

awesome gun!!! bought it for myself for xmas and am verry pleased!! i also bought a case of co2s with it..true a case was as much as the gun but cheaper 22 cal rounds for a real gun and so much more fun in automatic mode!!! ps take the batteries out after each use!! they go quick too but worth the smiles on everyones faces when they fire it!!>>

Great product. the 88 gram co2 goes too fast and is expensive. I modified it to use compressed air from my paintball equipment. Now I have to find a way to reload the BBs faster. Mini motor loader?

If I can develop one I will post it on Youtube

Got my EBOS today. I own two MP66K Drozd's and when I saw the EBOS and the lower price I had to try it out.

Wow.

The power is amazing. Much much much more power than the stock Drozd. I souped my two Drozd's up and the EBOS still seems more powerful out of the box. Loud and sexy too!

The accuracy even with a smooth barrel seems close enough that I have to say they are even. No problem at 50 feet shredding a soda can to confetti with 80-90% hits.

The materials on the Drozd are hands-down better. It is a MIL-SPEC polycarb frame and rifled steel barrel and steel magazine etc. You get what you pay for in this regard.

The EBOS is not cheap or low-rent. There is a lot of well-finished plastic but it is plastic, not polycarb. The engineering is first rate. Great trigger, very well-engineered BB reservoir and a decent spring loaded magazine. Easy and fast to reload and fill with BB's.

I don't know how long the EBOS will last. My Drozd's are coming up on 3 years old and they are still working great. I have to say that for grab and go the EBOS is hands-down my first choice. For the money it is a steal. No contest.

Congratulations UMAREX for a home run.

Just got my EBOS tactical bb gun today! Well worth the wait. Opened the box and was drilling dozens of holes in plastic bottles and soda cans about 5 minutes later. Added a rod dot and let the steel bb's fly! Fairly accurate for an automatic. Very powerful!!

This definitely is an all day fun plinker. You're gonna love it!

Excellent
By Anthony M. on July 5, 2010
The EBOS was worth the wait. I added a UTG folding fore-grip and a Walther MRS reflex sight. After zeroing in the sight, I can pick off two-inch targets from 7 yards in the wind, and with the FPS slider set to 300 the shots were splitting and shattering glass bottles. This is a very accurate and powerful gun. The only drawback is the 88g CO2 cartridges; I can get about 200 full power accurate shots from one cylinder out of the gun's 360 rd capacity, and it goes quick. Aside from that, certainly worth the money and a lot of fun. And now, time for a bulk air mod....

When I bought this gun it was on sale for $99. With the fps & all the features I knew it was a steal. What really blew it out of the water was it's nice weight & the option to put a refillable Co2 tank off a paintball gun, saving you BIG $ & giving you an average of 1200 between refills using a standard 20 oz. tank. 5 stars easy. BUY IT!
