Gamo Compact Target Pistol .177
August 20, 2011
I bought this pistol about years ago. I used it for a year or two and then put it away. It was in its case in a closet. I forgot about it until a few months ago. I was looking for something and came across it sitting behind some stuff. I took it out of its case and setup a cardboard box down the hallway, about thirty feet. I used a quarter to draw a circle on the box for a target. From a rest, I put 5 shots(Beeman hollow point pellets) into that circle. Totally Amazing!

Bought this pistol so I could practice in my backyard. Set up bench with sand bags to sight in at 10 yards. Out of the box, 5 shots, one ragged hole. Repeated several times. Unbelievable!

Once you sight it in. Right on! Love the grip, sanded it down a bit to suit my hand. adj. trigger is a big +. Not a fast loader , shoots most .177 ammo- not all. Quiet and looks mean....

Pretty good

Couple of things to mention. They should list that a can of 250 pellets and a plastic case is included. I purchased a case for no reason. The documents on GAMO site mentioned a safety this model pistol has no saftey. If you have large hands, need a lot of adjustment on palm shelf ( shaving ) for a comfortable grip. Otherwise dead on after break in. The customer service from Air Gun Depot is five star.

Most accurate handgun I have ever tried. Well balanced and with a fine grip. Silent shooter - ideel for indoors practice.

Answer:
Yes you can use the PBA, and it should increase the fps by at least 50.
