Great idea
July 10, 2014
I bought three of these rifle slings for three different pellet guns, two break barrel and one multi-pump. Let me start by saying the strap does work well once you have slung the gun over your shoulder and are carrying it, as the design functions best when the sling is in-use. When shooting or carrying the gun in a manner that does not use the sling as it is intended is where my concerns are. In these instances there is no tension on the sling to allow for the slipping of the straps to cinch down on the gun barrel or stock, thus, the straps loosen and move or even fall off. For me this has become merely an annoyance, and something that could be improved upon if there was some sort of mechanical cinch that kept the slip straps tight against the barrel and stock. Additionally, with the brake barrel guns, the front cinch can sometimes get in the way of the cocking lever action, making the cocking stroke somewhat difficult at times. I would, however, recommend this sling for those guns without an easy way to attach a sling with the precondition that it works best when actually being used to carry the gun.
Pros:
Value for the price. Works well when carrying gun slung over your shoulder. Cinch strap design great for adapting to different guns.
Cons:
Cinch strap design allows for sling to loosen and move or fall off when gun is not being carried using the sling. Barrel cinch can sometimes get in the way of break barrel cocking.

You'll really like this sling as it will fit any air rifle (including break barrel). It is lightweight and has really good padding.

It grips good on the barrel of my .177 Hunter Pro rifle but it slip on the cheak rest and will rest by the hand grip if you don't modify it.

Decent sling, worth the price.

I found out that buying a brand name sling for a pellet rifle was hard to come by. Needless to say after I found this product I quickly ordered it. The reason for 3 stars is that attaching it to your rifle, depending on the type of rifle you have can be a bit awkward with the way the straps work. Not to mention the first strap I purchased just flat out ripped. Thankfully Airgun Depot gave me another one, and it works pretty well, the padding is comfy, but with that being said with the way the sling may fit on your rifle can sometimes leave you with the padding just pressing against your back instead of protecting your shoulder like it should. Overall a decent brand name product. I would suggest buying it if you don't like carrying your rifle around in your hands all day.

Since this sling says great for break barrels, can it work on a crosman 2100 classic? It is not a break barrel, its a pump action.
