Hatsan Vortex gas piston technology is developed and manufactured by Hatsan to be specifically used in most Hatsan break barrel and under lever airguns. Vortex gas pistons utilize regular air instead of any other type of gas. Gas piston power provides a smoother and quieter shooting experience, so you can forget about the grinding noise a spring powered gun can make. Cocking a vortex gas piston is also much smoother than a spring piston. This air rifle is quiet and will feel good in your hands while you shoot. The Hatsan 125 Sniper Vortex features the comfortable elevation adjustable comb which allows shooters to easily raise or lower the cheeckpiece. Along with the smooth vortex piston, Hatsan added their exclusive triopad butt and shock absorber systems. These systems work together to absorb recoil and reduce vibration from the moment you pull the trigger to the pellet exiting the barrel. Go ahead and hand your air rifle on to another shooter to try. You won't feel nervous handing your air rifle to a less experienced shooter with the drop safety interlock device Hatsan has emobodied in this model. The safety will prevent the air rifle from accidently firing if it is bumped or dropped, regardless if anyone forgot to put the safety on.

Hatsan Unique Features:

Quattro Trigger: Advanced two-stage match trigger only available from Hatsan
Shock Absorber System (SAS): Reduces vibration and increases the life of the gun, optics, and accessories
TruGlo® Fiber Optics: Microadjustable rear sight and front sight to lend more accuracy to every shot
Triopad® Butt System: Maximum recoil absorption provides added comfort, and three stock spacers allow adjustments for appropriate length of pull.
Safety: A drop safety interlock device has been incorporated to eliminate the possibility of the airgun accidentally firing if it’s dropped (whether or not the safety is on).
Elevation-Adjustable Comb An easy adjustment for proper fit and added comfort.

WOW THIS RIFLE IS AWESOME
October 23, 2014
OUT OF THE BOX THE GUN LOOKED GREAT. I SHOT IT SEVERAL TIMES WITH THE IRON SIGHTS BEFORE MOUNTING THE SCOPE. AFTER MOUNTING THE SCOPE I SETUP A TARGET 35 YARDS AWAY. AFTER ABOUT 15 SHOTS THE GUN WAS CONSISTENTLY PUTTING THE SHOTS INTO A QUARTER SIZED CIRCLE. I THEN MOVED THE TARGET TO 20 YARDS AND IT DID THE SAME. I AM VERY WELL PLEASED WITH THE GUN I ONLY HOPE THE SCOPE HOLDS UP. THE RIFLE HAS TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF PUNCH. THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THAT IT IS A BEAST TO COCK. I WAS USING THE H&N BARRACUDA PELLETS 30.13 GRAINS
Pros:
SHOOTS GREAT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX
Cons:
COCKING THE RIFLE IS AROUND 45-50 LBS MAYBE THIS WILL GET EASIER AS I BREAK THE GUN IN. I CERTAINLY HOPE SO OR I WILL GET A LOT STRONGER

A great hunting rifle.

Overall I am very pleased.Much smoother than a springer. Powerful, not a toy! Bang, one shot kills.
Pros:
Very accurate with JSB exact .25 pellets. Powerful.Cocking is easier than some people make it out to be.I'm 63 and average build and have no issues. I used High Burris Signature Zee rings with +/- .015 inserts. Good clearance and plenty of elevation adjustment with CP 4-16 x 40 Adventure scope. On most guns you will need to raise the back and lower the front to keep cross hairs centered and have plenty of elevation adjustment. Check all screws, tighten, and lock-tite where appropriate. Tru-Glow sights are nice if you use open sights, I don't.
Cons:
Trigger adjustment is a little bit of a PITA.Good idea to disassemble and polish all surfaces. It will then be smooth and crisp. Scope and Bi-pod are junk, and a military style strap would be my preference.

Nice Rifle
February 28, 2014
I was originally going to buy the Camo spring version? but then decided on the Vortex as I thought that I should try a gas piston rifle. The rifle has good build quality, it is somewhat quieter than my other spring rifle. I did not like the Scope, so I purchased a Centerpoint 4-16x40 which should have been a great addition? I have shot around 150 pellets so far. I have not been able to sight this rifle with the scope, I need more than full elevation to hit point of aim? don't know if this is due to barrel droop? open sights at same targets is not a problem, hoping to find some adjustable rings to use with the scope. Only thing I wish was different, is that the safety has to be pulled toward you to fire wish it was a more standard push in. The trigger is great as set from factory. 4 stars based on Safety application. I don't know yet weather the scope , rifle, or me that is in fault of the scope set up? I have tried the scope supplied and that also runs out of elevation, have to aim high off target to hit target??????
Pros:
Hits hard, .25 big pellett.
Cons:
safety operation,

A big upgrade from my gamo big cat. The bigger caliber and power are good and gas piston is really nice and quiet as well. has a few issues that need fixing
Pros:
powerful quiet accurate solid
Cons:
butt stop screws are not long enough and you cant get more than one expanding plate in although it comes with three and i cant seem to get them out. bipod is fairly useless and I agree with other reviews that it should be ditched and in turn provide us with a better scope. pretty minor would still recommend the gun for sure
