Even though FPS rates may look the same from brand to brand, that may not always be the case. Hatsan tests this rating using lead pellets, but most competitors use lighter aluminum alloy pellets. What this means for you is that your Hatsan Model 125TH .177 Air Rifle w/ 3-9x32mm Scope will deliver more knockdown power than an alloy-tested airgun with the same FPS rating.Hatsan airguns offer specialty features that come standard within the product line to provide shooters with a better shooting experience.

Hatsan Unique Features:

Quattro Trigger: Advanced two-stage match trigger only available from Hatsan
Shock Absorber System (SAS): Reduces vibration and increases the life of the gun, optics, and accessories
TruGlo® Fiber Optics: Microadjustable rear sight and front sight to lend more accuracy to every shot
Triopad® Butt System: Maximum recoil absorption provides added comfort, and three stock spacers allow adjustments for appropriate length of pull.
Safety: A drop safety interlock device has been incorporated to eliminate the possibility of the airgun accidentally firing if it’s dropped (whether or not the safety is on).

It only took 6 shots out of the box to get scope right on . I was shooting ground squirrels at 20 to 60 yards with it with stock scope . This is a great air rifle .

Pros
power and accuracy

Cons
none

Out of the box, the scope is a throw-away. You're better off with iron sights. After upgrading to a highly rated Accushot scope, ran ~1,000 .22 of different weight through this (13 to 25gm) but never got a decent pattern at 30 yards and much worse at 50 yards. Then the stock simply broke apart on one shot, manufacturing defect or just cheap stuff. Cost me another $50 for a replacement stock. Wish I'd never bought this in the first place. Meantime, bought an RWS Magnum 460 that hits a quarter from 30 yards consistently and is reasonably accurate beyond 50 yards. It's a more expensive rifle, but I just could not get the Hatsan to dial in or last. Now that I've replaced the stock, watch for it on Craigs List.

Pros
powerful

Cons
innacurate unreliable poor quality

Bought this gun about 18 months ago , had it taken apart and lubed correctly. The rile in 25 cal is the only way to go with the power output of the 125 and the 135,dont even dream of going for the .177 too much power for the caliber- would be like mounting a V8 on a skate board. My 125 in 25 is reasonably accurate with open sights out to 25 yards, and it hits like a brick using the benjamin 27.8 gr domes - does about 700+ fps- will cut in half a coke can full of water at 20 yards--- and if you have good eyesight it can hit quarters at the same distance.

Pros
The thumb hold fits like a glove

Cons
Heavy gun not for kids.

AS STATED, GOOD GUN, POOR SCOPE. IF U ARE HAPPY WITH A PATTERN THE SIZE OF A PAPER PLATE AT 30 YARDS THEN THE SCOPE IT COMES WITH IS FINE. I HOWEVER AM NOT FINE WITH THAT. I PUT A 50 DOLLAR WALTHERS SCOPE ON MINE AND NOW AT 30 YARDS I'M SHOOTING A 3 INCH PATTERN. SOLID FEEL AND COMFORTABLE 2 SHOOT. LOVE THE THUMB HOLE. THIS .25 CAL HAS BEEN EASILY BLASTING THROUGH 3 QUARTER INCH SOLID PINE BOARDS AT 50 YDS. IM USING JSB DIABOLO MATCH 25 GRAIN PELLETS. FUN FUN !

Pros
POWER, COMFORTABLE TO SHOOT, SOLID FEEL.

Cons
THE OPTIMA SCOPE IT COMES WITH.

This is my first break barrel gun and it took several shot to get use to the weight and reaction during firing. I wanted this gun for several reasons of my own but most of all the knock down power since I live in the city limits. I'm using 3/8" plywood for my target holder and heavy gauge steel as a back stop and the pellets are putting 1/4" dents in the steel from 60' away, nice. I may buy a .22 cal from the same company since the quality of my first gun was great.

Pros
When you are going through the shooting process the gun feels well built. Open sites or iron sites are good enough for this type of gun if you don't want to use the scope. Safety release is in the best place and automatically sets when loading the gun. The scope is okay for what you are paying the gun. I was able to get the scope zeroed in, in a few minutes.

Cons
Scope mount is not tall enough. Weight, but you really don't have a choice if you want the fire power of a 25cal

I had a couple issues with this rifle after firing approximately 50 to 75 rounds the breach seal came out of its seat this happened 2 times within 100 shots the second issue I had was one of 3 pins loacted at the rear of the barrel toward the safety came out and fell on the floor I put it back in but at that point I felt this rifle had a factory defect and I no longer felt safe shooting this rifle, Airgun depot was absolutely fantastic in the way they handled this matter as they promptly sent me a shipping label and within 5 days from the time it left here they sent me a full refund I then proceeded to purchase another make and model rifle off of them as their service after the purchase was incredible also I did quite a bit of research before purchasing and their prices cannot be beat! I highly recommend Airgun Depot for all your airgun needs and they are the only one I would ever consider purchasing from I gave 3 stars only on the HATSAN rifle but I give 5+ Stars to Airgun Depot!

Pros
Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the HATSAN rifle I purchased but in no way should you have second thoughts about purchasing a Hatsan as this was just one of those rare instances where it was defective the overall build quality of the rifle itself was excellent and I would not have any second thoughts about purchasing another HATSAN product

125TH .177 cal. I had mine for a week now and I love it! Already put about 400 pellets through it! It has settled down and begun to group nicely. Still experimenting with different weights, but the heavier the better! Not too loud, and no problem cocking it. It would be a little heavy for off-hand work for a smaller person. Hatsan makes a quality piece of work! Very well made! My next one will be the 135 in .22 cal.

Pros
Solid, built to last! Powerful and accurate. Trigger is OK, little heavy but predictable. Getting 1 to 2 in groups at 35 yards with just the sights. 1 in groups with scope.

Cons
not really any to speak of! I would definitely recommend this one!

I have put hundreds of rounds of JSB Match Diablos through this gun and I am very, very happy with it. I love hitting tin can lids from prone position at 80+ yards. The take down power is amazing. Quality build and finish. I like the trigger, but it took a little getting used to. I kept the free scope, it does the job. This is a heavy gun to carry and cock, so eat your breakfast.

Pros
Power Build Quality Accuracy

Cons
Thumb hole stock is for right hand shooters only.

I am VERY pleased with the Hatsan 125TH. Excellent fit and finish. Very accurate and lots of pop! It's my first high powered airgun and I couldn't be happier. The scope is nice too.

Pros
Accurate and powerful. Well made.

Cons
For me, can't think of any. Maybe a little heavy.
