Even though FPS rates may look the same from brand to brand, that may not always be the case. Hatsan tests this rating using lead pellets, but most competitors use lighter aluminum alloy pellets. What this means for you is that your Hatsan Model 95 .22 Caliber Turkish Walnut Stock Air Rifle w/ 3-9x32mm Scope will deliver more knockdown power than an alloy-tested airgun with the same FPS rating.Hatsan airguns offer specialty features that come standard within the product line to provide shooters with a better shooting experience.
Hatsan Unique Features:
| Quattro Trigger: | Advanced two-stage match trigger only available from Hatsan |
| Shock Absorber System (SAS): | Reduces vibration and increases the life of the gun, optics, and accessories |
| TruGlo® Fiber Optics: | Microadjustable rear sight and front sight to lend more accuracy to every shot |
| Integrated Sound Moderator | Sound moderator in muzzle break for reduced down-range noise. Includes front open fiber optic sight. |
| Safety: | A drop safety interlock device has been incorporated to eliminate the possibility of the airgun accidentally firing if it’s dropped (whether or not the safety is on). |

Awful expierence with this

When I got it, the truglo front barrel sight was glued sideways, and the rear sight was permanently crooked. I had to remove them hoping it would be worth voiding the warranty - I was wrong. The trigger guard constantly needs tightening. The scope, after breaking the rifle in unscoped lasted 10 shots before essentially exploding and launching the eyepiece into my eye. The stock screws were not matching, screwed so darn tight that one side was way off from the barrel. If you tried to loosen the screw the stock would crack. The recoil dampening system they speak of is garbage. The thing still kicks like a mule. Personally, I see hatsan arms as a careless builder. If you can look down the sights of a rifle and think that a front sight twisted sideways and a crooked rear sight is acceptable for $150, there's something seriously wrong with your company.
Pros:Mildly accurate.Cons:Horrible construction Sights were useless Trigger guard is loose Stock screws are way too tight and mismatched Kick Scope is a serious hazard on this rifle |

Outstanding quality

This is a shooter's gun, with a very nice stock, a fine trigger, and a design that's very well thought out. Out of the box, it's remarkably accurate. The scope is of decent quality too. For those who accuse it of being blurry and out of focus, a few minutes spent adjusting the objective (front) lens for the correct parallax will make all the difference regarding focus, and groupings. Replacing the scope rings would be a good move. There is a steel plate scope stop held by 2 screws. No more loose screws in the forestock either. There's a hefty bolt - with a locking screw - that runs through the stock. I find no faults with this rifle, and the quality far exceeds the price. Another happy owner, especially since I took advantage of the 'daily deal.'
Pros:It doesn't seem to be pellet fussy, and it does like 14.3 gr. domed. |

Pretty and accurate. I exchange a gamo silent stalker igt for this hatsan model 95. No comparison. Three inch groups with the gamo vs 10 shot groups inside of a nickle at 15 yards right out of the box.with the 95. A better gun, better scope, and better trigger.
Pros:Pretty gun, accurate, and plenty of power.Cons:Heavy, about 9 pounds. |

A real good air gun for the price. Love the look of the gun and how it shoots. It's a nice heavy gun that handles real well.
Pros:Love the way it handles, how it looks, and enough power to do the job.Cons:The scope, need to be upgraded. |

Hard to break open and cock, I hope it gets easier. I fire about 200 pellets a day with my Crosman .22 break barrel. After firing 100 from the Hatson I got a bad blister between my thumb and index finger that is taking over a week to heal. I had to crack open the barrel by pushing against the bench with a rug but still dented the stock. The trigger pull is excellent as well as accuracy. I do not ever use the scope on any break barrel.
Pros:Trigger and iron (plastic) sights. Stock is beautiful.Cons:Hard to break and cock, if I knew that before hand I wouldn't have bought it. It probably has a higher velocity than the Crosman but I don't need it. |
