I ordered this air rifle refurb'd from Air Gun Depot. It arrived 2 days before they said it would and was in show room condition. I had the same experience with a previous order for a refurb from AGD. The problem was that the .177 barrel was missing from the shipment. I contacted AGD and they were "johnny on the spot" with the problem, as I did not want to return this rifle. They were great, and the problem is fixed. Would I order from them again, YES. WHY?..They were there and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Response to problem: 6 stars to AGD.
Pros
IT'S A MENDOZA!!! What's not to like about that at this price? For the $ outlay, the Mendoza rifles are hard to beat. Metal and wood. Very accurate with the right pellets and the trigger is up to par with the best out there. With the .22 barrel, it likes the Crossman hollow points @ 14.3 grains. Haven't tried any others yet. Open sights are very good but I intend to scope it later. The stock on the one I have is natural wood color which I like better than the gray stock on my RM200. If you want versatility in a quality package, don't dilly-dally.....get one before they are gone.

It's a little tough for a kid to cock, (not broken in yet) but other than that, it really packs a punch! With a scope very accurate. A great varmint eliminator!
Quite a fun gun. Bit stout cocking for a kid. But it's oh so powerfull. .177&.22cal. what a nice set up. Can't go wrong here.
I bought this for my 10 year old son and we have hunted many a squirrel with it. Pellets go clean through them. I have more fun shooting this than some of my other rifles. It is definitely a good pellet rifle. We use the .22 cal barrel for squirrels and the .177 barrel for targets. The .177 definitely shoots hard enough to hunt with though. Put a scope on this rifle and it shoots very accurately. The 177 shoots just a little higher than the 22 but that should be expected with the size and grain differences with the pellets. all in all, a great pellet rifle.

asked xavierThe Hamerli's .22 barrel with the .22 RWS H-point pellet (800 fps) is deadly accurate to ~25 yds and probably farther. In a suburban setting, you have to weigh size of your backyard and proximity of neighbors when considering a SAFE shot. I've taken out rats at 25 yds with one shot through the heart/lungs in an standing position! If you want anything more long range and your in a safe rural setting, consider a .22 rimfire rifle but for varmints in your yard, the Hammerli is the way to go.

This gun is amaising! It has enough power to hunt with and it is accurate enough to shoot competitively. I use it to hunt squirl, skunk and raccoon. It will take down a very large animal for a pellet gun.
