Smith & Wesson 327 TRR8 BB Revolver

CO2, BB Pistol
  • Code: 2109322R · .177 · 400 fps
Out of Stock
The S&W CO2 BB revolver has a 5.5" barrel and textured grips with the S&W logo. This would make a great gun to maintain firearm proficiency without the cost or inconvenience of going to a range and the high cost of expensive firearm ammo. When shooting a BB gun, everyone in the vicinity should wear safety glasses. Never shoot at hard objects. Steel BBs easily ricochet, so everyone in the area must wear safety glasses. Remember to remove all pets before commencing to shoot.

I tend to slow things down a bit when I know I only have six rounds before I reload. And that’s fine. There’s just something about a revolver whether it be air powered or the real thing that just can’t be replaced by a semi or fully auto pistol. Since air isn’t wasted on blowback action you get a lot more shots per CO2 cartridge. The fiber optic sights work really well but I still mounted a red dot since it was already set up with a rail. I actually enjoy loading each shell and thinking how much less they cost than 357 magnums. Real range time is still the best. But CO2 I can do anytime I want with no travel and hardly any expenses.

Pros
Nice quality, good feel and weight

Cons
None

This gun is very accurate at about 10 yards. I love the realistic looks and the fact you can get extra shells. Great gun and would recommend it very highly.

Pros
Feels like the real thing, and the fiber optic sights

Cons
Top rail ( took mine off) and only has 6 shoots ( real one has 8 rounds)

It came, looked like new and it works better than I thought it would. After being in the retail sales business most of my adult life. I've never bought any items that were refurbished, but this company has positively changed my thinking. I will buy again from them and refurbished from them if I am able to use more and will recommend to others to deal with them.

Pros
I am thrilled and any others can call the company and get my contact info and I'll state to all how god the service is. Thank You Jay

This is an excellent bb revolver with a price tag that should grab the attention of any enthusiast. It fires well in both double and single action modes. The weight feels appropriate. I also bought this to use as a prop for a movie. The fact that the cylinder still rotates and the hammer still works without co2 means that this revolver will make for a very convenient and cost effective prop.

Pros
Everything

Cons
Nothing

Shoots great and very accurate! Realistic with nice weight, even when I put a CenterPoint 30mm Red/Green Reflex Sight on it. GREAT FUN! -Joe

Pros
Very fun to shoot

Cons
Seems to be a little give in the barrel assembly, dose not affect the gun though

I've found this to be my most accurate bb pistol and I have no Idea why. I maintain the hell out of all my guns and they last.

Pros
Accuracy for a bb pistol and I have several revolvers.

Cons
None that's the guns fault. I UN-characteristically left a c02 cart in the gun for a year and had to soak the seal w/pellgun oil and seal repair ATF for a couple of days to make it stop leaking It worked this time, whew. Always remove the C02 cartridge when done shooting.

The S&W 327 TRR8 is a "BA" looking pistol, no doubt. The rails add not only a cool look, but are functional for lights, lasers, or in my case, a green/red dot I picked up from Airgun Depot. As another couple of reviewers have noted, the top rail is a little loose out of the box, at least mine was. Since you should have a set of allen wrenches in your airgun kit, simply bust out a little one, and carefully tighten up the two bolts that hold the rail. It is adjustable front-to-back, just don't shove it too far back. Also noted the "loose" barrel others have spoken of. Not sure what causes this, but doesn't seem to affect performance, a little annoying more than anything, but you really don't notice during shooting. The ejector rod is fully functional, but once you rotate the cylinder out, simply tip the gun back and the cartridges just fall right out. These carts BTW, load from the front, as opposed to the Peacemakers which load from the rear. Careful loading these back into the cylinder, as an over-zealous tap can pop the BB out. The sights are right on, no adjustment needed on mine. Although this is a double action, I prefer to use in single action mode, smoother draw to me. About that Co2... It took me a re-seating of my first cartridge to get it right and have the thing seat properly. I don't care for the small wing nut like bolt that pushes and holds the cartridge in. To me, the big, easy to turn bolt in the Peacemaker is far better. Careful that you don't pull the grips off when you change the tank. You CAN, but the little latches on the top edge of the inside of the grip may try and hide on you when you try to re-install. Don't know if it's my seal, but it doesn't take just a few full cylinders to drain a cartridge, which means your last few BB's will literally be spitting out and falling a whopping 10' down range. Twice I've had the 6th round not fire at all. Again, this could just be my sample. Overall, would I buy this gun again? Probably. For the most part it is solid, nowhere near the performance or feel of the Peacemaker, but good, especially if you can get the refurb version from AD.

Pros
Cool look! As a retired officer friend of mine said, "Don't go waving that around in public". Sights are right on out of the box. Smooth single action pull. Rails are true and versatile. Good overall feel and balance, a red/green on the top rail completes this bad boy!

Cons
Loose feel of the barrel, although no noticeable detriment to performance. Personally don't care for the Co2 nut. BB's can pop out of the cartridge if poppeed too hard into the cylinder.

I've never ordered any product in my life that was refurbished, except this one. At about a 40% savings, I was surprised when I opened the box of this beautiful pistol. It looks and shoots "new". The first six shots were in a 1" bullseye from 15 feet. Keep in mind, I'm an old guy whose hand shakes. I don't have a rest in the garage where I shot this, but two-handed this pistol is as accurate as any .177 I have, and I have a bunch of them. Stretching out to 22 feet opened up the pattern some, but still, couldn't ask for more accuracy. Sound is great. 60-70 shots from the first cartridge I tried with a lot left over. Loading was a snap. I have two Dan Wesson speedloaders with cartridges and they look to be identical to this. This gun is clearly manufactured by the same people. I think it's a great gun, a great buy, and I got great service from AirGunDepot.

Pros
Cool factor, looks, heft, precision, accuracy, rails (see below), bargain priced, worth $100, let alone $55,

Cons
I thought the barrel was loose when I first picked it up. It still seems slightly loose, but clearly has no affect on accuracy. By loose I mean if you hold the grip firmly and the front of the barrel with the other hand, it rocks a tiny bit. My Wesson doesn't do that. I'll watch it over the next couple of weeks, but I do not want to return this baby. I also was not happy that the rail was installed on the top of the pistol. I loosened the two set screws and was disappointed to find they had make marks. I would have put one layer of duct tape on the inside of the rail; it makes the fit nice and tight, and the screws do not make marks. I used that on my 776 and my Wesson. Works perfect. I did moujnt a laser on the bottom rail and it looks great, matched to the open sights. Nothing else not to like. I may get a second one of these.

What changes has the refurbishing done to the gun?

asked Greg

Greg, Well it really depends on the gun. The refurbished item might have been returned because something was broken, the customer did not like the item and returned it. Really we could tell you with each refurbished item. We just know that all the refurbished items are sent back to the manufacturer who looks over them, corrects any issues or problems then sends them back out to distributors to resale at a discounted cost. Hopefully that answers your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

Scott from USA

I saw this gun with a stainless steel finish at another website. Do you have this model with a stainless steel finish and if so, would the price be the same? If not, what would the price be with that finish?

Nathan, Unfortunately, we do not carry the stainless steel version of this particular airgun. So we would not even have a price for it. Sorry for any inconvenience. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
