This handgun is an awesome base platform. It's as accurate as all get out and has a veritable cornucopia of upgrades, the stock ordered directly from Crosman being one of the best. My refurbished gun was in excellent condition. My only gripe is that Crosman started making them with corrosion prone aluminum valves instead of the brass ones they used to use and still use on all their co2 guns.
Pros:
Accuracy, price, variable power, trigger tune-ability, mods
Cons:
aluminum valve, small hex screws

Sooo happy with this purchase. I'd buy another just to have it if they were in stock today.
Pros:
It works great. No wonder it is a classic. Accurate and lots of power.
Cons:
Its single shot so you have to take some time instead of just blasting away.

Still around and for a good reason
January 9, 2012
I have been into Airguns for only two years now and I have brought a few guns in this time, some a little more on the expensive side but I must say that even with all of these new guns on the market I have found the crosman guns the most likable guns out there. The crosman line is mostly inexpensive but the guns they make are rock solid and are my favorite Airguns, not to mention all of the accessories and modifications you can get. I am about to mod two pumpers and one 2240 and if you don't know about them do a little research you will be amazed.
Pros:
Inexpensive, great shooters, aftermarket part and tons of mods
Cons:
Nothing but I would pay more if they wood offer more guns with wood stocks but you can buy them aftermarket.

Great hard hitting pump action pistol , the sights aren't the best in the world but will do and to get it to shoot with a good pressure u must pump at least 6 times it gets tough but it's an overall great pellet pistol to go plinking!!!
Pros:
It's hard hitting
Cons:
The sights are hard to figure out and to properly sight it in

Powerful pistol
November 14, 2011
I had one of these in 1979 and sold it to a friend when I relocated to another state. The new bolt action is even better than the older model. This is a powerful accurate pistol. It is barrel heavy so you have learn to hold it correctly to hit the target. Since it is a multi pump, power can be adjusted to lower velocity for indoor shooting. I use 2 pumps to shoot into a pellet trap in my basement.
Pros:
Power and accuracy.

Refurbished Crosman Air Gun
November 13, 2011
Received item in less than a week after ordering, it looked good but, it fired once and then had several miss fires between proper operations. Returned and purchased a non-refurbished verison of the same model, received the new model within a week or so. New model works fine.
Merchant Response:
The defect on this gun was definitely not the norm. But sometimes that happens. Glad to hear the replacement has worked out.
Pros:
Time between ordering and receiving both refurbished model and new model.
Cons:
would not fire properly

Excellent Gun for the money!
July 9, 2011
This is an excellent gun for the money. Out of the box, the target groupings were tight. I did have to adjust the sights a bit, but that is why they are adjustable. It did take me a while to learn to pump but after 50 rounds, this is easier and more efficient. My friend has a $1500.00 air gun and this is just as accurate. I may change sights and put wood instead of plastic but that is strictly aesthetic. This is a great gun for the money!

ok for the price
March 3, 2011
I bought a refurb about a year ago, it looked new but whoever put on the barell band put on a bent one. What i mean is, the front sight/barrell band that connects the pump tube and the barrell and hold it all together was tweaked over to the right about 10 so I had trouble sightning it in. I went and bought a spiffy BSA red-dot and the crosman scope mounts. Scope mounts fit loose as hell, so i shimmed them with some electric tape. No BS, me and a friend were messing around shooting a gamo knock down taget(the squirel)... it took him probably 7 or 8 shots, but he took a 42 yards shot and hit the knock down disc (1-1/2" diameter) and i lost a $5 bet. Sweet pistol, im going to order a flat top valve and piston for it. Awesome deal, awesome accuracy. If you get a tweaked front sight post like i did, send it back and get another one!! well worth the money.

1377C American Classic Air Pistol (Remanufactured)
January 20, 2011
I like like this air pistol. Minior scratches on barrel and pump linkage. Other than those no other blemishes. As others have noted the rear sight is not very good. The barrel does turn with a scope mounted to it. However, I bought the remanufactured pistol and it had just a 30 day warranty. Knowing this I went ahead placed a dab of epoxy between the botton of the barrel and the top of the air cylinder. The scope I mounted is now secure. I have the scope sighted in at 20 yards @ 6 to 10 pumps and shoots very accurate. At 40 yards there is about a 6 in drop with not a lot of power. For what I bought the pistol for I am very please with it.

I actually picked up a remanufactured 1377, and the gun is perfect! I can't see any reason why it's a refurb, so Crosman did its job in getting this piece ready for resale. Have been taking care of a rodent issue in my yard with great success! Gun was shooting accurately right out of the box, so sighting it in was effortless. Can't wait to start adding some mods to this, as there are MANY cool aftermarket accessories available for this gun. Great gun, great price, and it is taking care of business!

1377C blister prevention
July 8, 2010
I purchased a 1377C and as others have mentioned, you need to exercise caution so as to not catch and blister you hand while pumping. I remedied this by screwing a cabinet handle to the bottom of the pump lever. It would probably be best to use a long handle that secures with one screw. I used a two screw handle and had to do some extra work (drill out a bit of the steel pumping mechanism) to get the pump handle to fully seat again over the cabinet handle screw. I can now pump the gun up much faster with no worries of blisters. This 1377C is quite powerful and mine is very accurate.

Great Value on 1377C
June 27, 2010
I've had a great experience so far. It took about 100 shots for me to figure out the proper hold. Since then, Im hitting 1-1 1/2 inch groups at 10 meters, not bad. I use Crosman pointed hunting pellets, not the best but I'm used to them. Quite enjoyable and easy to get used to the pumping. I recommend using shooters gloves to avoid hurting your hands either by pinching or strain from pumping. Love this gun, just hope it lasts.

March 29, 2010
Over 25 years ago I had a 1377, I remember being so amazed at how extremely accurate it was. I had installed the 1399 extended stock and it became a even more steadied target shooter. I recall walking up a ravine at the end of the street. The hills up each side were very steep and high, I would have to say easily 100 feet high than where I was standing. On the top was a telephone pole. I took the challenge from my brother in law and took aim at the telephone pole with 10 pumps to the pistol. I pulled the trigger and a second later you could hear the pellet hitting its wooden target. I am still amazed. I dont know what ever happened to the gun but I cant wait to order another one from this company as I has researched the web and this so far is the best price and only place I have found the extended stock which I highly recomend.

Happy with price and product
March 8, 2010
The only thing that was apparently wrong with my 1377C(R) was that the barrel had a bit of rust in three places. It looked like they tried to re-blue it, but when I scrubbed the barrel with oil, the bluing cane off. I'll just have to watch it. The groved sight is all the way down, but I can sight ok by taking a tight bead. A bit of white enamel paint on both sights might enhance sighting. As someone else mentioned, the trigger was a bear to pull, having to pull to one place and then complete the pull to fire it. I took the left grip off, lifted the trigger spring out, and squeezed the spring completely together. Now the trigger feels just above a hair trigger. The gun is fairly quiet. I sighted it in the house, using a board backtrop. Probably need to be careful to not tighten the left/right sight screw too tight because the sight is plastic and it might split. Also need to be careful to not pinch your fingers while pumping the gun up.

Excellent 1377 "R" Pistol
April 17, 2009
I bought the remanufactured item 9-1377RM. This will be my third 1377. I have an original when they fisrt came out. Then bought another one about ten years later. This is by far the BEST 1377. Great improvement on the cocking and pellet feeding with the new bolt cocking lever. I was skeptical about buying a remanufactured pistol, but thought that since someone sent one back I might as well try it out as hopefully then I won't end up with one I might have to send back, as any problems should already be fixed. I was not worried about if it came scratched as I figured I would scratch it up anyway. Well, let me tell you how HAPPY I Am with my NEW REMANUFACTIURED 1377. It looks better than brand new in my opinion, and there was not a scratch or flaw on it ANYWHWERE, or with the functioning. EVERYTHING looks and works PERFECTLY. If you I wanted to be real, real picky I could say the ONLY flaw was a tiny little flake in the paint when they put the stamped "R" on the trugger guard to show it was remanufactured, and the paint flaked just a little around the stamped, "R". I tested it and the sight at ten yards only off hight to the left of bulls eye by about an inch. No problem with sight adjustment, and now my new little baby hits the bulls eye as often as I can make it do so. So I have to say I got what appears so far to be a PERFECT pistol, as much as can be possible for this little new little baby of mine. I saved about $30.00 from retail from my local store and a few dollars from buying a new one here. Do I have any complaints? Heck NO! This is a GREAT DEAL!!! I am so happy that I am able to get the WONDERFUL DEAL I got here !! Thanks to AIRGUNDEPOT for having the OPTION to purchase a remanufactured 1377. You have one VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER. If I want something in the future I will be sure to stop by here to see if ya have what I am looking for, and will tell my friends about your site. Be advised...
December 31, 2008
...sometimes 'Remanufactured' DOES make a difference. I received my 1377 from Airgun Depot before Christmas. The pistol itself was in a factory-sealed box from Crosman, stating that the product was remanufactured, with a designation of 1377RM. It also stated that the capacity is a 10 shot rotary clip. That would certainly be interesting, but isn't the case. Airgun Depot's packaging kept the pistol and some GAMO targets cozy for the ride on the brown trucks. I inspected the pistol after removing it from the Crosman box. It wasn't cocked, but it did have a pump or two stored up. There is an "R" stamped into the metal just below the safety, left side, with paint flaked away from the stamping. The pistol was gooey with oil, so I took a cloth to it, and ran a brush and patches down the barrel. I then loaded a pellet and looked down the sights. Ooops! Remanufactured items sometimes result from returns to the factory for one problem or another. The factory then inspects the product, repairs, and resells. I think Crosman might have missed the 'repair' portion on this pistol because the breech was skewed to the left quite a bit... about a 1/4 inch. This may have been the reason for its original return. I disassembled the pistol and found that the lower end-cap screw was cross-threaded at an angle, causing the breech to sit off to the side. I carefully aligned the screw back into the threads, ran it through a few times, and reassembled the gun. The breech sat perfectly on top now, and I was able to sight it in. Somewhat. I've read reviews and some issues were repeated for my 1377. The rear notch sight can be lowered completely, but will still be a little high. Some have filed down the notch sight to correct this. The barrel band/plug/front sight is plastic, and has some play in it. If you handle the pistol correctly, don't knock the muzzle around or use it as a pry bar, it shouldn't affect sighting too much. The plastic breech is, well, plastic, but can be corrected either with Crosman's replacement breech, or an aftermarket breech. The trigger spring is stiff... you may need to get a running start before you pull the trigger. The easiest fix is to remove the spring, compress it a little (I compressed it 1/8") and return it to the gun. This will loosen up the trigger pull significantly and make shooting more enjoyable. The trigger has a lot of creep, which can probably be remedied with careful polishing of the trigger parts. The grips are loose but are manageable. Some will put shims under the grips, some will buy nice aftermarket wood grips. I haven't put more than 50 pellets through it yet, but I can tell it will be a fun pistol. I was looking for something I could shoot indoors with a low noise level, yet be able to step into the backyard, crank it up and shoot upwards of the full 10 pumps when the snow goes away and those pesky soda (beer) cans start attacking my house again. Plinking will be great. I haven't found the right pellet for this gun yet, or the right number of pumps, but the single time I tried a 10m target shoot yielded a .75" grouping. I rated it three stars because of the cross-threaded screw... I don't think Crosman did their job when they looked over the pistol. Would I buy a remanufactured 1377 again? Yes. I like the savings, and I'm not overly concerned about a scuffed up finish or minor issues that I can correct, as long as the item operates effectively.

The performance of this air Pistol, they say about 33 feet, as a pistol it holds up to that. realy well, Add a 1377 shoulder stock, and it changes to one nice little air rifle. about 30 inches long, as a rifle, im hiting pill bottles at 25 yards away, with about a 2 1/2 - 3 inch grouping. way cool , and easy to customize. in may ways to your needs five star to this air pistol anyway you go

I was not expecting much, but am pleasantly surprised. Seems to be highly accurate and although I am not pumping it up to the max velocity seems to have plenty of power. I have had a blast with an indoor target I set up. I wish the pellets were a little easier to load but I finally got the hang of it and can load fairly fast. I would recommend this air pistol.

I have my grandfathers Medalist II 1300 22cal, It is a great target gun but it is leaking when pumped up. I was looking for parts when I came across the 1377c, I knew that if it was anything like the 1300 that it would be a great gun, and I was not disappointed!! I took my kids out to my in-laws woods, and we were hitting pop cans with ease from twenty to thirty feet plus. The 1377c has a lot of hitting power too. I look forward to doing a lot of shooting with it.

Are you going to have any more in stock?
By Staff on May 7, 2012

Answer:
Since it is a refurbished model, we have no idea of knowing when we will get anymore in.
However, the 1377c is a very common refurb for us to carry so it is possible we will get some within the month.
If you make an order, we will fill it when available.

im a little new to guns so i dont know the names of the parts of it. The rod thing you pull back so you can place the bolt in wont lock in tries to close back automatically. Can someone tell me how to fix this? please let me know asap.
By Staff on May 15, 2012

Answer:
The part name you are looking for is bolt and the thing you place in is the pellet.

The bolt may wear in with use, but also it may wear out. If you got this item recently you may consider returning or exchanging it.
