The Ruger Mark I shoots .177 cal. alloy pellets at 600 fps. This break barrel pistol also features a contoured grip, a spring piston and a rifled barrel. The pistol is very easy to cock with the included cocking assist handle which can be left on while shooting. This is a very nice pistol for the price. We spent some time with it on our range and were pleasantly surprised with how the pistol performed. The pistol feels very good in your hand and the weight is just about right. You can plink for a long time without getting tired. You can also mount a scope or red dot on this pistol as it has dovetail rails on it. We did notice a lot of excess oil in the barrel so we recommend you clean the barrel before shooting.
Please note: As with any airgun we recommend a cleaning kit to remove the excess oil from the barrel before shooting. A kit is available when you click the 'Add To Cart' button.

Huge disappointment from Ruger
October 13, 2014
I did not use this gun, which I bought as a refurb, within its short guarantee period, so if you buy one, don't make that mistake. As others have said, you cannot adjust the elevation to get it on target, so it is really worthless. I bought an optical sight to mount on its rail, and thought I could use it that way. Unfortunately, after approximately 30 or so rounds the catch that secures the barrel in shooting position, which was made of plastic instead of metal, broke. The gun is now useless.
Pros:Light for its size, and seems powerful
Cons:Cannot adjust sights, breaks after a few rounds.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
Fun but flawed

The pistol shoots well but sights are difficult at best to adjust. Consistently shoots low with not enough adjustment to correct. Fun hand gun , shoots hard but does have that flaw
Pros:Solid build, like the sights
Cons:Terrible elevation adjustment, would recommend with a warning about sight
