good kit, no male end to attach cleaning ends though. nice that it comes with 500 rounds.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I have both the .177 and the .22 versions of this cleaning kit. I bought the .22 to go with my bolt action Benjamin .22 Discovery. With this type of gun, the cleaning rod must be inserted from the muzzle end. For break barrels, one can insert the rod from the breech end. I suggest not firing the cleaning wads through a piston spring gun - push them through instead. It's probably OK to shoot them through a PCP gun like the Discovery. I also checked with Crosman and they are OK using the silicon lubricant included with this kit instead of RMCoil. For non break barrel guns (i.e. bolt actions) a cleaning bore snale may be better. The nice surprize was that there were 500 and not 250 RWS Superdome pellets included. These pellets happen to be very accurate in the Discovery. All in all - a nice kit.Pros:
One stop shopping (lubricants, rods, wads, pellets) and a way to clear jammed pellets.Cons:
Harder to use on non break barrel (i.e. bolt action) guns.I would recommend this item to a friend.

The cleaning rod is long enough and ok quality but the brushes will not fit on the end of the rod. The rod has a male fitting and so do the brushes. I can make a coupler but being I purchased them together they should work together. There are not very many felt cleaning pellets. The 500 pellets are nice.Good Deal

It's a pretty good deal for what you get. Like other reviews said, it's 500 pellets instead of the advertised 250. The pellet tin was damaged which made it hard to open and close (no biggie). If you need to take care of your .22 air rifle, this will do the trick. Pleased with purchase.RWS .22 Shooters Kit
