RWS 34P .22 Cal Air Rifle with 4X32 Scope

Love this rifle. It shoots straight and I like the sights. I will be trying out a 3-12x 44 scope in the near future. This gun is well made and I am very happy with it.

This is a well made rifle that looks like it will last for generations. I have not shot for groups yet but it will slay a soup can from 30 yards open sighted all day long. The 06 trigger is a fantastic two stage trigger. Very similar in feel to Tony Kidd's 10/22 two stage trigger. It is heavy and not a rifle to carry without a sling. One of my dislikes would be the weight, but that is based on perception and use, so I'll leave it off the dislike list.

I received the rifle within 5 days, packed well and so far performs great. Came with the real nice RWS mount with recoil lugs and actually a pretty good starter scope. Everything went together well and once roughly sighted in shoots great. I really like the cocking force. My older Benjamin pump gun was killing me and took to much time when I needed to get the game. Nice finish, better blueing and trigger pull than expected and just well worth what I paid for it. Other than pellets and patience, everything is in the box. I am looking forward to plinking and varmint hunting with it.

Airgun Depot service and delivery was good. The RWS 34P is well built German hardware, not cheap Chinese crap. The trigger is excellent. I was able to sight in the scope after about 25 shots. I can group 3 shots the size of a half dollar at 50 yards. The gun is heavy and takes some getting use to. The gun gets quieter as you shoot it more. Trust me, when I say "This is not a toy gun." It has surprising power. I have already killed my limit on tree rats.

After doing my homework, I purchased a well-known Chinese-made nitro-piston air rifle. The barrel wouldn't lock up properly, so I exchanged it for a replacement. That rifle was horrible...a 10-inch spread at just 15 yards. Obviously, I didn't do enough homework that first time. This RWS 34P is vastly superior right out of the box, and I mean by a wide margin. I set up the same target I used for the nitro-piston rifle, and this RWS nailed overlapping hits using just the fiber optic sights. I moved it back 10 yards, and the same thing. I don't even have the scope mounted yet, and I'm hitting bulls eyes from 30 yards! This RWS is, hands down, vastly superior to anything else in its price range. I am stoked!

A very nice high quality gun. Right out of the box nice tight groups with the fiber optic sights. I have not zeroed in the scope yet. it seems to have a bright clear field of view. My wife shot nice and on center her first shot. She said all that was missing was the gun powder smell. As for Airgun Depot what great people. Had a problem with PayPal verifying the address. Airgun Depot stepped stepped up, we put it on another card, they got the gun to me in 2 days. A very pleased customer. The RWS 34P is a quality weapon well worth the money. I will by more from Airgun Depot.

First off, airgun depot has amazing customer service, best I have seen of any internet store. But about the rifle....I must have gotten a lemon, it didnt shoot worth a darn. I got it, and started shooting. Coudn't get better than 2" at 10 meters, iron sights or scoped. I figured a break in period. I shot about 500-700 rounds, and the accuracy had got worse, I tried with both the scope and iron sights to see if it was the scope, and no difference whatsoever. And after about 750 shots, the crosshairs in the scope broke in half. so, I email them, they sent me a ups label for free shipping, and the sent me a replacement. I dont know if they attempted to refurbish my defective one, or had a mix up and sent me the same gun, or if I was just extremly unlucky, but the second one shot just as bad, iron sights or scoped. So, I emailed them again. Again, they sent me a ups label for free shipping. Before I went to send the rifle back as defective, I conducted a test to prove the inaccuracy issue, I shot my daisy american classic pump pistol, 30 shots at 30 yards. My group with that was 2.7" ctc (center to center), and I shot 30 shots at 30 yards with the RWS 34p, group was 9.3" ctc. I also shot a group at 10 meters with my competition target air rifle, a daisy 853, to prove that I knew how to shoot accurately, the diameter of the hole with 10 shots measured .198", thats only .028" larger than the diameter of the pellet, and a 10 meter 10 shot group with the RWS measured 2.76" ctc. I then shot a 10 meter 10 shot group with my nieces PINK RED RYDER BB GUN. It measured 1.93", ctc. I sent those targets in the box with the air rifle, as proof. they refunded me my $239.90 at no charge, I was so happy with their service, I decided to give them more of my business. With that money, and a little more, I upgraded to a benjamin discovery with hand pump. It shoots under 1" at 50 yards consistantly. All in all, im sure 99% all of the RWS 34p's will shoot good for you, and you will have no issues and love the gun. I loved the way it felt, the trigger, everything about it, accept the accuracy. so if you want this, go ahead and try it, and if by some freak chance yours doesnt shoot good like mine did, rest easy knowing that airgun depot's customer service definately has your back ;) happy shooting

This rifle was accurate right out of the box without a break-in period and the quality is outstanding. I first had a Super Streak and I guess I wrote too negative of a review because it never got posted but this rifle has renewed my faith in spring guns. The scope that came with mine is a RWS 300 which is crystal clear and retails at $130.00 plus the lockdown mount retails at $60.00 so you are geting almost $200.00 by spending the extra $37.45 for the combo !! I would say well worth the price and I still can't believe I didn't by an RWS first because I am telling everyone how in love I am with my Panther. If you are looking for a great quality rifle then this is the one.

I got this gun a while back and its shooting great, I was hitting dead center of cans at 40 yards. I was useing a rangefinder so its correct. dropped a rabbit with a shot through the eyes

One of the better triggers. Good balance. Accuracy determined my shooter and type of ammo. I am very satisified with my RWS 34 and consider it the best air rifle I own. I would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't so difficut to cock.

This gun is a good gun the scope is a little crappy though but it's still worth the money
