RWS 3-9X44 Night Pro Air Rifle Scope with Illuminated Reticle

Nice, thin reticle, mil-dots for range/windage adjustments on the fly, and illuminated reticle option when it gets dark out. Usually, I don't go for the covered adjustment knobs (have to remove the covers to adjust scope), but this is a solid scope despite that. The optics are clear, adjustments are precise and, for the money, it's about as good as it gets. Personally, I could have gone without the illuminated reticle, but it's not like I paid extra for it...

The scope that came with my Gamo Whiper would not hold its zero. Being my first scope experience, I wasn't sure if it was me or the scope. Probably more me than the scope, but after much research, I picked this scope. I feel I made a good choice, and together with the RWS 30 mm mount things are looking up. I wish there was a more comprehensive user manual that came with it, so I wouldn't have to scour the net looking for answers. The order I placed with these guys came in a very timely manner.

Had it sighted in with 5 shots, right out of the box. Very clear optics.

I purchased this scope for my old air rifle because my eye sight isn't what it used to be when using open sights. I was very pleased with the construction and functionality of this scope. The illuminated reticle is great when shooting in low light or shooting at dark colored targets. I also purchased the 30mm RWS Lock Down One Piece Mount for 11mm (3/8") Dovetail Rails, it is a rock solid mount!! I have it zeroed in at 20 yards and the optics are clear and crisp. I have taken this scope out a 70 degree (inside house temperature) into 20 degree outside temperatures and the thing didn't fog up or give me any trouble. I wish I would have made this purchase long ago. It has reinvigorated my interest in shooting once again and has made much more pleasurable. Just this morning I shot the little spray nozzle off the top of a can of hairspray at 30 yards!! Would I recommended this scope??? YES!!!! Planning on getting a RWS 48 in a month or two and will without a doubt purchase another RWS scope! For 48 I'll be purchasing the RWS 4-12X50 CI. I have nothing but good things to say about RWS products. A happy customer for over 30 years now!!! Just buy it and find out for yourself.

Mounted this scope on my Gamo Whisper CFR. The rings which come with the RWS scope are perfectly adequate for my rifle. Was on paper out of the box and on target within a few shots. Easy to use. Makes my rifle exceptionally accurate. Am able to consistently hit a 3/8" bulls-eye at 15 yards (no wind). Stays on target (no drift). Love it.

Great scope I use it to shoot rats at night. I have two 3x9 night pros both mounted on Beeman RS2 guns one with .177 barrel and the outher with .22 barrel. I also have a RWS 4x12x50 on my .25 cal hatsan sniper. Lights out buddy, it's a real killing machine. Love RWS scopes all RWS products are good.

Great scope, but stupid elevation knob marking. There is an "L" as in LEFT with a directional arrow on the elevation knob. I have been shooting for 50 years and have never run into such an arbitrary marking where an UP or DOWN should be. I called UMAREXUSA support and they are aware of this. Both the Elevation knob and the Windage knob have the same markings. Support said this was correct and was not a defect. I replied that the instructions even say to raise the point of impact turn the upper adjustment screw towards "UP". Support said that "UP" is "L". Try remembering that when you sight in! Gave the scope a 4 star because it has great optics, proper markings would have given it a 5 star!

Hi, I wanted to shoot pigeons at about 40 yards, with this scope and a RWS 850 I am finally able after messing around with a spring rifle for several years. WOO HOO!

Great upgrade to any air rifle. Took me 5 shots to zero in this scope with Crosman Premier Hollow Points at 15yrds. Buyers should understand this is a large scope and a 30mm tube not your standard 1" tube seen on many scopes. The scope being 30mm made it a little difficult to find scope rings for my rifle since it has a Weaver/Picatinny mount and the scope comes set up for Dove Tail. Most rings found in stores are 1" and I was unable to find anything in that style and size on this site. This scope packs all you need including a 7 level of brightness illuminated reticle and a windage adjustment to help zero in those long shots. I should also mention that this scope has very clean clrear optics and even at full zoom i can see clean and clear at 15yrds.

Just purcased a Gamo Silent Cat with Gamo scope included. Did'nt take long for me to see the need for something better in the way of optic's for this rifle. Decided on the RWS-3-9x44 Night Pro , along with the lock down mount , after reading a few review's online. Was dead on target after about 10 shot's at about 30 yd's. Have already reccommended this set up to a couple of guy's I'm shooting with . Very happy with the quality of this equipment for the money !!!

I had this scope mounted at kittery trading post . they actually used a bore sight collameter and asked me to look into the reticle and inspect it before completing. I was impressed by the professionality . any way its been on my diana 350 mag about a year or so. I have no complaints whatsoever so far. The gun will give me one inch groups at 80 yrds on a good day .Still have yet to benchrest it though.

I looked at many air rifle scopes and decided to try the Night Pro because of the high ratings...the customers were right. Awesome scope for an air rifle!

Mounted on a Gamo Hunter 440 using the RWS lock down mount. was very easy to sight in and after a tin of Beeman Kodiak 10.2 pellets is still right on target.

A very fine addition to my Ruger Blackhawk (break barrel air rifle). This scope has really completed the rifle and was easy to sight-in. Very nice craftsmanship, sweet anodized finish and clear optics. Great customer service and arrived packaged well and very quickly.

Very easy to install and zero in! Ordered the RWS Lock Down mount also(for improved rigidness) but couldn't use the mount on my GAMO BIGCAT 1200. The little tits which prevent sliding, couldn't be used, so I didn't put it on at all. Maybe there's an adapter. Anyway, my rifle shoots dead on.

Do not waist your money on Gamo, BSA, Tasco, or Bushnell scopes for your gamo pellet gun. For about $100 you can buy an RWS 3-9X44 illuminated reticle airgun scope that is guaranteed to handle the abuse of gamo pellet guns. I've had four different scopes on my gamo gun and all of them broke. Two of them the glass shattered inside and on the BSA the crosshairs turned sideways. I've owned my RWS scope for over 10 months now and it is dead accurate after over 350 shots. I guarantee that if you buy an RWS for your gamo gun, you won't be disappointed. Make sure you get the RWS Lock Down mount with the scope though. It will cost you an extra $30 but without it your scope will move on the dovetail. Regular scope rings won't hold an RWS scope in place because of the recoil of Gamo guns. If you are serious about accuracy follow these steps, you wont find yourself wasting money like I did.
