Absolutely Incredible!
December 6, 2011
I am former US Army and served in Israel with the IDF. I am an expert with UZI SMGs, primarily with the full-sized variant. When I saw this mini UZI and read the reviews both in print and on Youtube I decided to take the bite. I own two Drozds and also an EBOS so I didn't expect to be that surprised. WRONG. Whoever built this UZI loved what they were doing. It is so well-done I am wondering if the removable barrel ring and the top cover weren't actually sourced from IMI parts. If you just wanted a replica mini-UZI and never fired the weapon it is worth the price. I will refrain from repeating what has been written previously. Accuracy and performance are excellent. More velocity would be nice but it is so much fun you won't care after a few magazines. The magazines are elegant in their design. Just beautiful kit. I performed the full-auto conversion in less than 10 minutes using a Dremel tool with the zizz disc. Full-auto firing will give anyone perma-grin! The full blowback is just a riot. FYI, a cautionary statement. I am an expert with the UZI. I can not tell this is not a real UZI from arm's length. You will freak out any law enforcement personnel if you are seen with this weapon.
Pros:
Realism, elegant manufacture, accuracy to the original, astonishing quality.
Cons:
Nothing. It's just great!

Great gun!
March 21, 2014
Great fun in semi-auto mode - even more fun with the 5-minute full-auto conversion! Uses up a CO2 cartridge in 2 loads of bbs, but fun while it lasts! So realistic that I don't dare take it out in pubic - some gung-ho cop will bust me immediately for having an Uzi. Don't wanna get shot for having a BB gun! But around the house , showing off for my friends... WOW!
Pros:
Not real accurate, but who cares, when you can spray BBs everywhere!
Cons:
High CO2 usage, slow loading into single-stack mag, but still worth every penny!

I own two of these,,,,,
July 26, 2013
I bought a Umarex Steel Storm full auto mod and 20oz bulk air kit and got bit by the full auto BB gun bug. Unfortunately the Steel Storm just kept falling apart and is no longer serviceable after just 3 months. I got my first Cybergun Uzi right after the Steel Storm. Immediately the UZI took to my hand. It felt solid and right. As mentioned over and over again is the faithfulness to the actual center-fire weapon. Of course I've never had access to a mini pistol with a stock and full auto open blow back, I have fired the semi auto carbine.... The similarity in how this fires, functions and feels is awesome. I love gas blow back! I wish that there were more. similarly realistic automatic weapons available beyond the air-soft stuff. After buying the first one I found another used and I bought it too. Both have outlasted the Umarex 10x over with fairly heavy use and moderate wear appearing on both. I was a bit worried about the plastic frame that simulates the surrounding metal but it is holding up well. My biggest problem has been in the piston valve located on the magazine. On my first clip it would constantly leaky and inconsistent with metering the gas. I disassembled and reassembled many times before destroying that valve and building my own valve from a similar styled but different brand valve. Much trial and error to get the spring weight and port timing correct but now have this mag fine tuned and modified for bulk air. The trick for bulk air is to use the whole clip as an expansion chamber for the gas and to keep the co2 tank regulated below 80 psi. Unfortunately without changing the operation of the gas blow back system you cannot get any big increase in velocity with higher gas pressures. the hammer cant overcome the valve pressures to hold the port timing open long enough. There really is allot of fine tuning that goes into this and is a testament to the engineering and forethought that went into the function of this system.
Pros:
Good sights, good accuracy for bbs. Heft, balance and realism. Stout sturdy construction. FULL AUTO capability! Low operational cost compared to firearm.
Cons:
Small magazine capacity! It should be 50 rnds and would match shot count of Co2 capacity. The magazines are too leaky and cant keep gas loaded for extended periods and remain reliable. The valve piston in magazine is not greatest quality and no replacement avilble for piston valve and no replcement for rubber mag seals. The gun only fires steel bbs and not lead pellets. Wish for lead and rifled barrel. The velocity is rather low... want more power.

Excellent quality extremely realistic and fun as heck
July 18, 2013
One of my best BB gun purchases. I can't say enough good things about this gun. Awesome! The folding stock and sights make it easy to shoot.
Pros:
Mostly metal excellent quality great accuracy comfortable and easy to shoot realistic recoil looks and feels like the real deal
Cons:
I paid $159.00 for the Uzi and an extra mag cost $40.00. However, I gladly paid more for the excellent quality and construction. Runs out of BBs too fast!

Wow. This is a long way from the BB guns I grew up with.
March 3, 2013
I'm a grown adult who owns real firearms, so I was a bit skeptical of this. With ammo prices up, ammo supplies down, and time for getting out to the range limited, I thought I could set something up in the basement to practice with occasionally. After all, sight picture, sight alignment, and breath and trigger control are still in play no matter what is coming out of the end of the barrel. I figured this should be a cheap way to practice, even if it isn't much fun. First impressions - this thing looks so much like a real UZI it is scary. Yes, some of the upper receiver and the grips are plastic, but it looks fine even close up. There is nothing that suggests this is just a BB gun from looking at it. The detailing is phenomenal - somebody really took their time in copying the design of the real gun. In fact, it is so realistic that you better be careful where you plan to shoot this. It will definitely freak out your neighbors, get you an unpleasant visit from the SWAT team etc. if you aren't very careful about where you shoot it. The other big first impression - this gun is HEAVY, just like a real UZI. It easily weighs more than a regular shotgun or .22 rifle, it's built like a brick and it feels like one too. It is really, really fun to shoot. The blowback makes it feel like something between a .22 and a heavy, centerfire cartridge. The accuracy seems to be quite good, I was getting 2-3" groups just screwing around right out of the box, not even really trying, completely unfamiliar with the weapon etc. from about 20 feet away. I am pretty sure that most of that 3" was me and not the gun. So with practice, I fully expect the groups will improve. The peep site is very easy to use, and it isn't hard to get a good cheek weld with the little folding stock. It does jump a bit with the recoil so I can imagine attaching some kind of little pad against the stock to make it more comfortable. The trigger pull is nice and crisp, with no stacking. It is a bit long, but has a positive, solid, mechanical feel. I think I am going to be shooting this thing a lot. I ran a couple of magazines through and then field stripped it. If you go on youtube and watch guys field strip a real UZI. You will see how much, even the inside of this gun resembles the real thing. A lot of the internal parts are metal and it all looks pretty durable. I do suggest that you get some RemOil or Hoppes and lubricate all of this stuff, there is a lot of metal to metal contact going on when this thing fires, and so it will have to be field stripped and lubricated pretty regularly I expect. You don't have to run a bore snake down it, but otherwise I would definitely maintain it just like a real gun. I haven't done the full auto modification yet, I will wait for the warranty to expire before I bother trying that out. When I bought the gun, I figured it would be a blast to just blaze away full auto even if it isn't that accurate. Now that I have shot it, I think the accuracy is such that I'll rarely even use full auto. It is that good. This thing is definitely not a kid's toy. The BB's have a lot of force coming out of the weapon, they will ricochet easily off of any hard surface and you can cycle the weapon very fast. If you are thinking about buying this for a kid, I'd definitely get the Airsoft version instead. This version is just too heavy for a kid to use well and it is also a lot more dangerous than the BB guns we had as a kid. If you don't trust your kid to handle a real gun yet, don't trust them with this. But if you are thinking about a substitute for powder firearms that will be almost as much fun at a fraction of the price, just go ahead and buy it, you won't regret it. This thing is awesome, even for somebody who has plenty of experience with regular firearms.
Pros:
Heavy, solid construction, accuracy, peep sites, and blowback. Very realistic in every way. Very easy to field strip. Seriously fun to fire. Who cares about the Co2 usage when you are having this much fun? Still way cheaper than running even rimfire ammo. Also, with this you can set up a really fun shooting range right in your basement!
Cons:
Brass barrel will probably not last as well as a steel one, mode selector switch is sharp and can be unpleasant in your grip. Loading BB's could be easier. Only part of the gun that looks fragile are the plastic sight protectors on either side of the front sights. The swivel studs are metal but I'm worried about whether they are going to be strong enough to handle the weight of this thing if I put it on a sling.

Cybergun Uzi
January 3, 2013
All I can say is HOLY CR** !! This thing is amazing! The look, feel, accuracy out of the box, performance, and All out Grin that this thing will make you have is nothing short of Awesome!! Mind you I received it today and it was all of 18 degrees outside so the CO2 lasted for one and 1/2 clips or so. I still ran four clips worth through it. Didn't feel the cold at all. At 30 ft. Firing at a a Coffee can with the Plastic lid facing me all rounds ended up through the lid and in the can. This was at Semi Auto Fire only as I have not performed "The Conversion" yet. The performance was flawless despite the cold. I can't wait until summer and temps allow the CO2 to stay warmer. I am very happy with this purchase!
Pros:
Look, Feel of the Weight and Blow back recoil, Accuracy out of the box, Complete Fun !! Still amazed at its performance.
Cons:
The clips could be easier to load. Perhaps some kind of "Speed Loader" could be devised for them?

Looks and feels much like the real thing. The Mini Uzi can be modified to full auto. Wait until after the warranty is up, modifying the gun will void the warranty.
Pros:
Pros - Made well, heavy, realistic looking Uzi.
Cons:
Cons - a blued finish would be better. Scratches easily.

My new UZI arrived
July 26, 2012
More of a blog here but I spent about 3 months tirelessly looking for a new airgun, for plinking, pest control and FUN. I got a crosman 760 pump for Christmas when I was 11, yeah thats right, that gun worked for the next 32 YEARS!!! Right up until I lost it in a divorce. I digress...I considered PCP, pump, CO2, break barrel. I'll sum it up, I've learned to listen to my fellow humans that have also paid hard earned money for the same product I'm considering, because they will tell the truth. and THE ONLY gun that got rave reviews by everyone was this UZI. I was thrown off by the all plastic visible seams of other rifles coupled with a high price and the sexy pcp guns are $500 to start, too expensive for me. I used to buy whatever looked cool only to get it and be disappointed then have the hassle of returning etc. If I had to to make this gun by hand it would cost me $1000. I dont believe there's a bb gun on the market that comes close to the quality and heft of this gun. Taiwan has stepped it up! the fasteners on this gun are NICER than the ones on some real guns!! Even the markings are high detail ! AND AirGunDepot had the lowest price anywhere and got it in three days !!!! HAPPY CUSTOMER. BEAUTIFULLY MADE gun that can be passed down and/or worked on/modified .
Pros:
The bolt is solid metal ! QUALITY of mfg heft blowback/real feel high metal usage THE full auto ability removeable barrel shroud and takedown looks
Cons:
lack of marketed accessories, IE, remote line kit , stocks I plan to fix that ;-) heard its CO2 hog...we'll see

Perfect!!
July 1, 2012
Shot a real full-size Uzi once, this is very similar. Kicks harder than all my .22 rifles, amazing semi and unbelievable full auto. Metal parts & magazine are impressive. Sights excellent, but need adequate light; I painted the tip of the front sight white. Easy to sight in, very accurate. Need some way to illuminate sights or a laser for dark times. I use a cheap single-point bungee sling, works great. My gun required a short 'burn in' -- it leaked out CO2 a few times in cooler weather (65-68F), and would leak a bit after I tightened the end plug. It works great now after 5-8 CO2 capsules with pelgun oil on almost every one. I pierce the capsule and turn the plug about 1/3 to1/2 turn after, seats good. Getting around 60-65 shots even in full auto! (hot now 85-95F) last few fade off. (I do 3 shot bursts, no full auto mags in 3 seconds though, trust me 8 3-shot bursts with it kicking your face like a real 9mm ought to please you! Cuts pop cans in half at 25 feet) I put some foam behind the bend in the stock to pad my cheek, it was actually stinging. Pretty loud, like a silenced real Uzi, it echoes in the hills out here. Will probably camo paint or tape soon. Wait the 30 days for any warranty repair needs, then mod it -- full auto was easy, took 2 minutes. Field strips easily. Don't display it in public, it looks and sounds real.
Pros:
Very realistic weight, appearance, operation, sound level, and recoil. Accuracy is very good. Metal parts & magazine cheap to shoot (55-60 cents vs. 10-15 dollars (real Uzi) for 50 shots) Full auto is something everyone needs to try! passed warranty without problem -- flawless, never a jam or misfire
Cons:
Nothing

UZI CO2 full-metal Blowback BB gun
June 30, 2012
Right out of the box the heft the feel the overall looks of this Uzi replica BB gun is phenomenal. Once you start shooting it you won't want to set it down. I converted mine to full auto w/ just a nail file & a multi-tool pocket knife. Full auto conversion took < 5 minutes total which includes takedown & reassembly including dry-fire. If there is only 1 BB gun that I could keep it would be this. Definitely an excellent buy I would highly recommend.
Pros:
- can be converted to full auto firing - very realistic blowback - accurate w/in 50 feet - nice sounding clack when the bolt is closed - cool foldable stock
Cons:
- CO2 hog but definitely worth it when firing full-auto - nothing else.

Superb Replica for the price
June 24, 2012
This is a superb replica for the price with some nice metal parts, great blowback action and feel, good accuracy. The folding stock stays firm in both positions and the mag is rock solid. Co2 consumption is heavy, but thats a price you pay for a realistic blowback feel.
Pros:
Faithful replica some good quality metal parts Solid folding stock action Great blowback feel Good Accuracy
Cons:
Some weaker plastic parts Co2 Capcity is limiting Clunky Safety switch action Some sharp edges on metal & plastic parts

Let's see what can I say about this product. A big reminder of when I was in the arm forces feels real, of course not as loud but thats a good thing lol. Love the sights and pretty accurate once you get used to it. Overall this is an Excellent buy for your money excellnt way to have fun targetting bottles, cans, and even small pesty rodents.
Pros:
Shoots really hard and fast like the real steel. Looks and feels good and real. Anyone can be fooled to think it's real especially at night. Full metal jacket clip easy to refill making it even more fun!
Cons:
Co2 runs out fast on full auto, but this is why I have two clips :)

The UZI Full Metal CO2 Blowback BB gun
February 27, 2012
The weight and construction of this gun give it a very realistic feel. The blowback gives a good approximation of shooting the real thing. It also uses a lot of CO2, you get about 50 or sixty good shots out of a cylinder. The accuracy is very good. Out of fifty rounds fired all but four or five were in a 2 inch circle, 6 or 8 in the 1 inch ring.
Pros:
The all metal construction, accuracy, the way the CO2 is in the mag.
Cons:
My major complaint is no notch on the mag for BB follower. Burst fire would be nice, but that would use up Co2 even faster. I also wish it could be scooped, and rigged to use larger Co2 tanks.

Replica Uzi BB Gun
February 26, 2012
The thrill of the realism of the recoil action catches you off guard and puts a big grin on your face. It uses (1) bulb per 2 full magazines. This is up there with most of the other BB guns of its type. Look and feel are very convincing. The deal was also very good. Including the extra magazine caps as well as the 2400 steel brass plated bbs, which I would have to say the quality and uniformity were tops. Nothing negative to say of this deal. Get one. You will enjoy it!
Pros:
pros: heft, realism, fun factor 10
Cons:

One of the best
February 26, 2012
I didnt know what to expect of this gun when ordering it, but it turned out to exceed any expectations. High quality gun for sure. Nice blow back, good weight on it, easy adjusting. one co2 cartridge will shoot two magazines full (around 50 shots) Its semi-auto. Would have been cool to have fully auto, but then again, I dont really need it because I aim when shooting. This gun has amazing firepower. I shoot the little green army guys, this uzi splits them right in half from 7 feet away.
Pros:
blowback, weight, magazine clip productivity, firepower

UZI Full Metal
January 2, 2012
This is a well made and surprisingly high rate of fire gun. It uses CO2 at a rate of one for about 50 shots. The sights are a little tough to sight in due to the blow-back "kick" but, is reasonable accurate once you get use to this. All in all, a great buy and tons of fun.

Craftsmanship Rate of fire Price

Shoots like a real carbine
December 17, 2011
I don't know we're to begin with this review because the Uzi is so awesome in so many levels I can't do it justice with words, it really has to be held in your hand to fully appreciate the realism og the bb gun. First of all it is mostly all metal and not the zinc type used on Airsoft it's metal feels the same as some of me stamped metal powder burners. Second is the blowback action that makes shoot and kick very much like a 9mm carbine I own. Third is the fact that it has a hidden feature to make it run in full auto. Check you tube for that. Overall it is super impressive and lots of fun.
Pros:
Everything

UZI FULL METAL JACKET
November 30, 2011
ON A SCALE OF ONE TO TEN THIS GUN IS A TEN PLUS! iT REALLY HAS QUITE A BIT OF POWER IT'LL TAKE OUT A SIE GLASS ON A CAR DOOR NO PROBLEM AT FORTY FEET PLUS THAS PRETTY GOOD. THE SEMI AUTO MODE IS GOOD BUT THE FULL AUTO IS BETTER . I THINK THE FACTORY MESSED UP ON THIS ONE!!! IT WORKS GREAT NO JAMMING ISSUES HAVE SENT MORE THAN A THOSANDS BB'S DOWN RANGE. I USE IT IN A SALVAGE YARD FOR RODENT CONTROL. I THINK IT WORKS ON THE LARGER RODENTS AS WELL HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO TEST ON THEM YET. I MIGHT JUST BUY ANOTHER ONE AND TWO OF MY FRIENDS ARE BUYING NOW AFTER SEEING MINE.
Pros:
THE FACT ITS ALL METAL AND IS FAIRLY ACCURATE. ALSO ITS GOOD PRICE.
Cons:
THE CLIP IS WAY TOO SMALL AND THE CO2 CARTRIDGE ONLY DOES ABOUT 50 SHOTS I.E. ONLY A FEW SECONDS OF FUN. NEEDS TO HAVE AN ATTACHMENT FOR A LARGE ROUND MAG AND A LARGE TANK WITH HOSE FOR PROPELLANT.

Answer:
Airguns do not require an orange tip. Federal law requires only airsoft guns to have an orange tip. This gun shoots steel bbs.

The one that I ordered from airgundepot is all the same color, so I would believe that they are all the same, at least from airgundepot. Off subjuct. I did the full auto convertion, machined high capacity magazines, modifided a folding stock to incorporate a large co2 bottle and did a little math and was able to get the fps up. Testing on my chronograph on a full bottle it peaks 900fps, but averages between 800 to just about 820fps. It did take a lot of planning and trial and error. My conversions ran around $80. All in all its worth it, and I enjoy it more than I should. What can I say, im still a kid at heart and love sport sporting, pets control and regular hunting with my bow or my 7mm-08 rifle. Anyway, its a great buy and has a lot of potential, enjoy!!!!

I know it says that only steel bbs are used for this bb gun, and on the box it specifies the use of swiss arms metal bbs only. Does this mean I can't use my Daisy Premium Grade BBs .177 Cal, 5.1 Grains, Zinc Plated ones?
By Staff on January 17, 2012

Answer:
Daisy bbs should be fine.

Where can I purchase an extra magazine or two? Also, how much modification is involved to modify this unit to make its ability to shoot in "Full Automatic Mode"?
