CP99 Tons of Fun

I bought the CP99 because of the similarities to my real pistol. I wanted to improve my aim and sight picture without the expense of 380 ammo and the ability to practice my draw without the higher risks. I love this pistol and I have had tons of fun shooting it. It has a real feel to it and the blow back feature gives it a little kick to add to the realism. It doesn't kick anything like the real thing of course but still fun. My hubby bought the PX4 storm BB/Pellet pistol and likes it a lot but he likes mine better. I am able to shoot 9 - 11 magazines per Co2 cartridge. That seems pretty good to me. You could shoot more than that but once you get past 9 - 11 mags you have to cock it each time to shoot. Depends on how thrifty you want to be. It's not worth the extra mag or 2 for me to bother with it. My son shot this pistol a couple of days ago and he also loves it. I would definitely recommend the CP99.

The gun itself is great. I got one from scheels and it cost me $129.99. I think it is great. However, the accuracy could be better. One issue though, the screw on the slide will come undone and the slide will fall off in one shot.

Fantastic, high precision, and high quality. I have made almost 90 shots with one cartridge of Co2 12g.
The only negative factor is my English.

Really Fun to Have Around

This gun is a great play-thing. It has a blow back feature which is very fun and gives it an overall real feeling of being an actual firearm. The metal frame and overall weight can be attributed to that. However, this gun cannot be used for any kind of serious target practice. The blow back feature, in my opinion, creates too much of a recoil for such a low powered weapon that gives this gun very little accuracy. It is more of a novelty (a REALLY fun novelty) than a airgun used for any serious target practice.

This gun is a serious beauty. It feels great when its in your hand and has an awesome kick with every shot. It also has a great weight. It almost feels like a real gun when you shoot it. Although I did encounter a problem with the slide, the notch in the slide is always getting worn down with use and sometimes does not stay back after the clip empties.

awsome gun. heavy and accurate. seems very soild and well built. uses up co2 pretty quick. but otherwise it's got a great blowback and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bb gun. *squirls beware!! muhaa ha ha!!*

This is one of my favorite air pistols. The gun is constructed of high quality materials, and the kick from the blow back
really feels like you fired a real firearm. I usually can get about 80 shots out of a CO2 Cartridge.

This gun feels and looks like the real thing. The clips are great for fast reloading, and real deal. however as for accurate forget about it. laser or no laser as far as my compact goes, Its all over the place. The blow back is cool looking. The slide stays open after the last shot another cool feature. this guns not for hunting

This is my first BB gun and after a lot of research I am pretty sure it was the right choice. I've had the gun less than a week and I shoot it everyday because its just so awesome. Looks and feels real so you should be careful if you carry it outdoors. The only thing I find annoying about the gun so far is the safety, but I'm getting used to it; would be better if the safety was ambidextrous. The power is satisfactory when coupled with the weight and blowback action. It feels like you're firing a real gun, so this is a good gun to get some practice with and the price is great for what you get.

Great gun. Looks and feels like a real gun. It has a ton of great features, and is a fast and incredibly accurate gun. My friends were stunned by how awesome it was and made them want one themselves! I love shooting it and I recommend the CP99 to the fullest extent!

Just got the cp99 yesterday and have shot it about 50 clips and its great, blow back is equivelant to a 22(almost) shoots fast, very accurate. The all metal body makes it feel real and it really has a solid feel to it.
Showed some friends and they too were impressed. They all had smiles after shooting even the gunsmith liked it.

I've had this pistol less than a day now and I can tell it's going to rank up there with my Benjamin Discovery PCP rifle. Everything about this pistol screams realism (so watch out where you shoot it). I can go on for days about all of the great features but instead let me just say that if you're only going to buy one CO2 pistol, you should give this one some very high consideration!
The only drawback that I've found is that once the clip is empty it's a little too light to eject from the base of the pistol's grip. Otherwise it's the perfect CO2 repeater pistol. Get some extra magazines.

i had this gun about 6 months and its shoting fine.
i had realy pleasure shooting this gun.. only problem is the screw for the gas chamber is sometimes little bit hard to turn even tho i oil it regularly.. Also i had some problem with the slide stop of this gun.. slide stop broke after 2 weeks.. i dont know why i didnt refunded but i really wish that it didnt break.. well over all nice quality gun! 8 out of 10

Wonderful heft and feel to this gun. You will want to carry this gun with you all day it feels so right in your hand. I like it but there are more powerful and accurate guns by Daisy and Crossman that give a bigger WALLOP when shooting plastic soda bottles in the back yard. I'd trade the blowback for more power but I'm keeping this gun just the same.

The gun is quite accurate and powerful enough for my indoor target practice to keep from getting rusty over the winter. The only thing that I do not like about the gun, though, is the fact that the safety appears to act like a decocker. I despise them on a regular pistol, so it was a shock that the CP99 had the airgun equivalent.
Customer service works hard to ensure that you are satisfied. With me, my order was originally held up without a good explanation. After determining that the supplier put the gun on backorder without notifying Airgun Depot, Andy shipped it 2day UPS after it arrived at the store.

I recently purchased this Walther Compact blow-back and it has been a blast! The quality of the pistol itself is excellent, great weight and feel, metal components etc. IF it is made in Germany, itis usually of teh highest quality and thsi was the case here.This feels just like the real thing. The blowback function is phenominal. I love thye "kick" in my hand, a really fun experience. I have but about 1000 rounds through the pistol with no problems at all to date. Decent accuracy. Simply put a cool looking pistol and a ton of fun, the only negative is that it kind of makes my other air pistols obsolete and I basically only shoot thsi one now as it is so much fun!!!

this gun is very real. it isnt so accurate. but its fun to shoot. i get about 8 clips then the co2 dies. but the co2 is challenging to get in but not that hard. i can hit in a 5inch space every time at about 12 feet. overall nice gun. buy it

the names bond, james bond. lol i like it because it looks and feels very real. shoots bb's and never jams. clip is metal which i like. blowback is good, i dont even touch any of my other Co2 pistols anymore, i think theyre jealous of the CP99 compact, lol. the aim for this gun is only good for close range, or maybe just mine. gave it 4 out of 5 stars because i wouldve liked to have more power (fps). also a case wouldve been nice too. great gun, and lots of fun.

This is a great buy, much of the pistol is identical to the real thing in feel, appearance and quality. it is a blow back, and simulates the firing of a real gun very realistically. The 17-18 round mag. is very handy(I'd buy extra mags). very entertaining for hours of shooting( make sure to carry extra CO2 can. with you). The only negative( and this is being picky) is that due to the blowback action, the power is limited to 345 FPS.

Great price, decent accuracy and very nice blowback action. Heavy weight (heavier than the real-steel model) and a very realistic finish loaded with trademarks. Very good deal. Shoots around 300 FPS and can unload around 100 BBs with a 12g Co2 cartridge.

How you choose to protect your home is up to you, my opinion is that this would not work as if you fired the gun in the attempt to scare the intruder it would give it away as a bb gun.Most if not all gun safety instructors will tell you that pulling a gun (real or fake) only escalates the situation and the only reason you should pull a gun is that you have determined that your life is in danger and that you are going to shoot. Many people feel that killing someone else for self protection is to far, there are options for these people as well.
If you are looking for a good, safe way to protect your home you can get a tazer or mace, also they make rubber bullets for real guns and beanbag rounds for shotguns providing nonlethal protection. Once again how you choose to protect you home is up to you.
