This gun is the most powerful (none-magnum) rifle on the market. It is rated at 1000 FPS with lead pellets and that's more than true. Mine average 1050 with RWS H-Points 6.9g at 16.3 fpe. Get this, 900 with Winchester H-Points 9.7g at 17.5 fpe. One shot, one kill with pests!!!

Pros
Power Feel Look

Cons
Needs a better scope and a one piece scope mount with stop screw.

This is a high power springer rifle suited for teens and adults. For the rugged durability, included scope, synth thumb-hole stock with two storage compartments and high velocity this is a great buy. Philosophies of Use (POU's). This rifle is a rugged, reliable, powerful, ergonomically comfortable hunter. There is high velocity and medium power using a heavier weight .177 pellet. It would be possible to take down coons and foxes very easily. It's very rewarding for target work also but may not perform perfectly considering its a break springer. Weight: The rifle is 10 lbs including the scope. Not a favorite for long trips on foot. A small adult may get fore-arm tired holding this rifle in the standing position. Barrel: twisted rifling's, bull barrel with composite plastic cover to protect the steel. Break-pull: An adult with medium upper body strength should be able to break the barrel and cock the gun no problem for several hours of shooting. With that said, you do have to put a fair amount of effort into it. A lightweight person may need to use their thigh or knee for butt support during cocking. Stock: two compartments, enough for cleaning kit, batteries, survival items etc. Stock is well shaped, cleanly cut and presented with a very nice diamond texture inlay fore-end with a 12-13 inch length-of-pull butt. Butt pad on stock is plastic you may experience slight discomfort in the shoulder after a full day of shooting. I had the stock bight me in the shoulder a few times when shooting prone with a loose grip. Scope: nitrogen gas filled, windage and elevation adjustments 1/4in per click at 100yds, standard slotted adjustment screws with a quality movement and click, everything on the scope indicates quality craftsmanship. Not really fog proof. Designed for double direction recoil on heavy spring air rifles. There are protective windowed caps that come with the scope which is another plus. Break barrel accuracy: The joint and flex points on the barrel break mechanism are all very tight considering the rifle was cut and assembled in China. The composite bull sheath on the barrel is a nice addition which adds some grip and also protects the barrel from salty hands. With the scope properly sighted in, I can get within a centimeter using 3-shot groups at 75ft/25yds using a single point bench rest. This was on my first day out shooting with a poorly adjusted trigger. Accuracy could be better with more time to adjust. Trigger: You will read many complaints about the trigger. Comments like three stage, long pull, heavy mechanism, are common. The finger lever is molded with texture to prevent finger slip. The trigger guard has several sharp edges that I spent a few minutes sanding down. The trigger is a 3-group mechanism with a single stage action. If you remove the stock from the rifle there are three adjustments possible on the trigger for anyone with moderate DIY confidence. 1) There is a travel screw (mounted in the finger lever) that can be adjusted to reduce 80% of the trigger travel (you must verify that the safety will still engage when shortening the travel, just check the safety frequently as you elongate (back-out) the screw). 2) There is a tension reduction Allen-screw/spring located behind the trigger and positioned vertically that will reduce the pull force easily to 1-2 pounds (becareful not to release too much tension as it causes the group to get floppy). 3) The return spring located in front of the trigger has too much tension in it also and can be carefully stretched a little bit to reduce some of the pull tension on the trigger. I also added some heavy grease to 4 of the contact surfaces of the trigger mechanism. With these adjustments, you can get your trigger to act like a short-pull, responsive, light weight single stage trigger. The release point on the trigger is very consistent once all the adjustments are made and lubed. I'm very happy with Win/Daisy's efforts to provide an adjustable trigger mechanism. The gun is moderately noisy. If I were to shoot the thing several times on my balcony at night I'm sure the next door renter would find it noisy. During the day the noise is much less noticeable. No ear protection needed in my opinion. This is a high value package with extras (semi-custom stock, scope, adjustable trigger, velocity and accuracy) for a relatively low price point. Any knowledgeable shooter will be able to get a lot of use out of this rifle. Please note this is a review based on my experience with a single rifle off the assembly line. Therefore it is a single data point and should be taken with other users input.

Pros
Scope, stock, trigger, barrel, overall accurate, and very functional. Great for use as a small game hunter and lots of goods for this price point.

Cons
Weight, minor adjustments needed, and noise.

Awesome power. Can't believe it's only rated at 1000 FPS. I have mine scoped in at 60 yards, and with the correct ammunition (I am using GAMO red fire). I have great grouping, and enough power to still take out rabbit and big squirrels. Haven't tried anything else. I would highly recommend this gun. Oh and the thumb grip makes the trigger squeeze feel astounding pulls smooth as butter.

Pros
Accuracy Power Look and weight

Cons
Not ready to accept carry strap or bipod. Barrel was hooked slightly to the left out of package, but it did not affect range or accuracy.

All of my friends love it and they're ready to get theirs. Also, it's good for rabbits and other game. My friend even managed to kill a hog with his. Just buy it! You'll be amazed with the power!

Try checking out at the sight and if there is a restriction you will get a warning before you purchase the product. There are a lot of different regulations for all different countries and they are always changing, so we have set up an automatic warring if there is a product, based on your location, that is forbidden. Is the cocking effort good for a 13 year old?

asked Connor

My 10 year old couldn't cock it well without developing a decent technique. Your 13 year old would likely get by once they develop a reliable method. It is a little bit challenging at first.

Brian S.

Can someone tell me where this rifle was made? Was it made in China or Turkey?

asked Mitchell

The company Daisy, who made this gun has a manufacturer in China but their main manufacturing company is located in Arkansas.
