The Beretta Px4 storm is a versatile bb & pellet shooter with real blowback action. the power is in your hands! (co2 cartridge not included)the px4 storm looks, feels and shoots just like the firearm it copies!

This 16-shot repeater will have you shooting as fast as you can pull the trigger. There's an 8-shot rotary clip on one end of the stick magazine, and another one at the other end. After you're done shooting the first clip, flip the magazine for the rest of the shots! since it shoots bbs or pellets, you can pick whatever ammo you have on hand. A 12-gram co2 cartridge is easily loaded into the grip and gives you plenty of shots before you need a refill. There's even an accessory rail under the barrel. Like the handgun, it has real blowback action (cocking the gun with each slide action), giving you a feeling of power that most air guns only hope to achieve! Once you start shooting, you won't want to stop, so get lots of ammo and co2 cartridges!

A misprint in the manual says there's an operational slide release lever, there is none.

I have had this gun for about half a year now i bought it for myself for my birthday i looked for months for the right gun what really sold me on this one is that it had a rifled barrel, blow back, speed load clip, 380 fps, it also has a good weight to it feels just like the real thing and you get all of this for around $100 dollars witch is a great deal for all it comes with trust me this gun is worth every penny you will not be disappointed i know that im not at all.

Amazing CO2 Pistol
By William C Light from Gtreenville, OH on March 5, 2012
Because of bad past experiences with semi-automatic CO2 air pistols, I thought I would never find one I liked. The Beretta PX-4 Storm has set a new standard for excellent quality and just plain fun. I have now shot several hundred .177 rounds through the gun and have yet to have a misfire. This in itself is amazing. The pistol is a weight similar to many "real" semi-automatic firearms, and the blow-back action of the Storm make it feel very much like a 9mm. I have shot several different styles of pellets through the pistol without mishap. What appears to be a very fragile magazine has proven to be surprisingly robust. I am very satisfied with this fun gun that shoots straight, and I hope it stands the test of time.
Pros:
Reliability, feel, blowback action realistic, accurate.
Cons:
Trigger pull is a bit too long, but not bad for a semi-auto pellet gun.

I love this gun
By jeff from cross lanes, wv on March 3, 2012
I love this pistol and I'm having a ball shooting match quality pellets at trap in large garage from 22 ft at 25 ft targets. Actually I have found it is cheaper and better feedback to put 5 self adhesive "Shoot-N-C bulls eyes on a piece of copy paper on trap. I have to admit I bought a BSA laser sight (and it was easy to install on rails), but with it I can shoot 4 clips of 16 (64 shots) in an inch grouping. Easy for me to occasionally get first 8 shots or even full double ended clip of 16 in same hole before done. (It did help to match grade pellets as well). But I digress....I love this pistol and shooting it indoors.

This air pistol is the BOMB
By Steve from New Zealand on January 4, 2012
In my opinion this is a excellent air pistol in just about every respect, it has good weight and nice hand feel. I use H&N field target trophy pallets which the gun seems to like i havent had any problems with these quality german pallets and feel they are a good match . The gun is made in japan and the fit and finish is excellent it feels like it has been made to a standard and not down to a price. at the asking price it is a bargain.
Pros:
Size
Weight
Quality
Looks
Blowback feature
Just looks like the real thing
Cons:
would be nice if it had a cover under the grip for the magazine.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Fun and Reliable
By Andrew from Henderson, NV on January 2, 2012
I bought this gun over a year ago and it is still working. I thought something might break but after a few accidental drops, it still works the same! :) I dont like that the blowback action takes away from the power of the gun but it looks cool if you are just shooting it. Shot so many rounds through this gun, i think im up to 1000 or so rounds through it!!
Pros:
Shoots bb's and pellets
takes CO2 not green gas
blowback action(also con)
Cons:
under powered for CO2

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Not a BB gun
By James from Connecticut on December 27, 2011
My first air pistol and a pleasant surprise. Good heft and feel in hand. Fun to shoot. Decent accuracy with pellets but not with BBs. Also, the BBs actually fall out of the rotary clip so for me it's only pellets going forward.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

As much fun as you can expect from an airgun...at an affordable price.
By James from Rossford, OH on December 26, 2011
This airgun has great balance and feel and a smooth trigger. Couple that with the blowback feature and I'm really having fun shooting it. My copy seems to shoot a little bit high and to the left of my aim, about 1.5 -2" off at 15 ft.. Fortunately it does that with very tight groupings of less than 2 inches. I have only tried Daisy BB's, Crossman Match wadcutters and Crossman Destroyer pellets so far and they all performed about the same.

Learning to load the CO2 cartridges was a problem for a few cartridges. I have to tighten the thumbscrew more than what I first tried to get a good puncture and seal. On one of my first attempts I had one that partially punctured and even though it didn't seem to leak the gun didn't have much power. I realized what happened when I removed the cartridge and it took quite awhile to leak out the remaining CO2. I did learn the importance of eyewear from that experience, when a pellet not only failed to penetrate the cardboard target but bounced back to hit me softly in the leg fifteen feet away!

I highly recommend this airgun for it's fun factor but it is also a quality piece of merchandise.

Pros:
Well made with a reasonable price.
High repeatability of accuracy with different ammo.
Blowback is a plus-worth losing shotcount for.
Realistic look and feel.
Cons:
Plastic magazine could be a future problem-buy extras.
Would be the perfect airgun if the slide locked on empty.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Very good I will continue buying through of AirgunDepot.
By jose ramos from Puerto Rico on December 8, 2011
This was my first purchase and I am very satisfied.
Very good gun material, weight, color, and functions are convinsentes.

Pros:
Its power at the time of shooting, and soft trigger of the gun.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Pros:
The feel and weight and realism
Cons:

Beretta PX-4 Storm
By Vinicius Lima on August 17, 2011
The best airgun that has already acquired on airgundepot. It has a nice retreat in the shot, the noise is a bit high. Her weight is good and the shots are very accurate and grouped. I shot the distance of 20 meters and the result was excellent. Only one detail bothered me because it does not adapt well to the sighting system, because it needs to fall slightly below the target. Otherwise, an excellent buy.

awesome
By Brandon on August 16, 2011
this pistol is worth its price and is the best air pistol ive bought, the oly thing now is what laser should i mount on the bottom for an accessory

Refurbished Berretta Storm
By Ron on August 1, 2011
Got this to simulate what my real gun does. Really cool slide action and pretty darn accurate. It was in very nice condition for being referbished. Great little gun, fun to shoot. Uses CO2 rather quick but heck I dont care. Its fun!

great gun
By derrick on June 22, 2011
it looks great and fires great, dead onalmost every time

Gun jams more than it works.
By Robert Wilson on June 6, 2011
This air gun looks good, and feels good, but the magazines are poor quality and I have spent more time getting the gun un-jammed than I have in actually firing it.

The magazines insert in the grip. When it jams it is difficult if not almost impossible to get the clip out of the grip. After digging the clip out a few times the plastic mag. deteriorates.

The gun is only as good as its weakest link. The magazine and the jamming are definitely the week link.

shoots well easy to maintain
By Paul in Dallas TX on March 24, 2011
The PX4 is pretty well made and has a nice feel in your hands. The kids enjoy it as much as I do. The only problem I have is that the first ten or so co2 cartridges leaked really badly. I used some oil and tried a few more, and the leaks have stopped. One of the tricky things is when you load a CO2, you have to tighten it as much as you can, and then back it out, and re-tighten to puncture the cartridge, not a deal breaker as far as I am concerned. Shipped quick, I wish we had ordered another clip or two. Pretty happy...

PERFORMANCE

THIS IS A GREAT MODEL! HOW ABOUT LARGER CALIBERS MAYBE?

Nice pistol
By MBennett on February 7, 2011
The pistol is well made and fairly accurate to the real gun. It is a good pistol to use for target practice at home if you live in an area that you can't shoot a real pistol. The recoil is a little less than a .22 caliber pistol of the same size. The CO2 cylinders are good for about 4 full magazines. I like the system for putting the cylinders in, even though it is tight to put it in, the process keeps loss of CO2 to a minimum. The fixed sights aren't accurate. They are set up for both left and right-handed shooters. You just have to adjust your sightline to allow for this. I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a nice, inexpensive, recoil-type pellet/BB pistol.

Great gun. Tight groups but hard sight a little off.
By Nick on January 24, 2011
Love this gun but found that it shoots high a few inches high. Tight groups so the addition of a laser pointer should fix the hard sight issue. Recommend to anyone!

By NashvilleGuy on December 31, 2010
Accurate, good instructions, be sure to snug up the CO2 cylinder using the finger wheel below the cylinder. Blowback feature makes this pistol fun. Highly recommend!

accidental full auto?
By ryan on December 13, 2010
its a great gun but id suggest an extra clip or 2 because the first one i had the release springs were becoming weak and the clip wouldnt release from the gun. other than that i dropped it once and it went into full auto mode wich was really weird, then corrected itself after a few clips which leads me to belive this gun CAN be modified, but i would not suggest it seeing that it only shoots 8 at a time..

Beretta PX4 with a storm
By Tabrego on November 19, 2010
Love this one at is blanced, sits rigt into your hand and the blowback and clip style are impeccable. I own 5 other airguns but the Uramex made in Japan has really been my favorite even thought I have one that cost me almost twice as much. I try to stay to matched pellets because bb's tend to bounce about 3 times before stopping. Medium noise makes it a backyard favorite provided you don't shoot almost automatic 48 times. Eats C02 but it has been well worth it.

Feel's like the real thing!
By DaVinci on September 15, 2010
I bought my Beretta PX-4 @ Big 5 Sporting Goods for $89 on sale. My last CO2 pistol was a GAMO P-23, which went South after the 2nd time I used it. But the Beretta PX-4 is worth it... the blowback action makes it feel like the actual 9mm, where acuracy depends on a steady hand and use of the sites. The mag. dual sided clip is great even though you have to load 16 chambers at a time. I tested it using both steel and lead BBs. the steel is fine for fast reloading, but if you want better acuracy go for the lead. Being a CO2, it loses volocity after 36 to 40 shots, but at 380 fps, it can shoot through and through a can of Red Bull with incredible force. This is great for the back yard where space is limited.

Quality & Precison
By George S. on August 25, 2010
I'm from Canada and the BB guns and the pellet guns are substandard to your Beretta PX-4 Storm. I find it shoots accurately if you use two hands to shoot at a target like you should do . I am a retired clerk/sharpshoote. I like the way the clip just goes in one way and the pellets and the BB 's don't fall out . I find the safety hard to get to which is a good thing making it safe if a child got a hold of it . I give it a 5 out of 5 for design and the fact its made of real steel.

Excellent!
By britquestor on August 9, 2010
This is a terrific CO2 Air Pistol. So much so that I am now going to purchase it's companion product the PX -4 Storm CO2 Air Rifle.

Squirrels look out! The coutures follow the "real" Berreta faithfully and when I showed it to my "real gun enthusiast" dinner club members they thought I had joined the club.

They were amazed at the authenticity of the Beretta PX-2 Storm and it's amazing blow back slide action. Highly recommended.

Powerful, Accurate, And Amazing Replica
By Joey on July 29, 2010
This was my first CO2-powered air pistol and I have got to say that the Beretta PX-4 Storm is an impressive pistol. The pistol's best feature would have to be its strikingly accurate depiction of a REAL Beretta PX4. It has a nice feel and weight and it is simply amazing. The mag design is ingenious. Something that isn't noted in the description is the magnetized BB/pellet slots. They keep the BBs in the mag from falling out. My only complaint is that the slide lock is purely cosmetic. Still a solid 5.

Awesome!!!!!
By Wide reciever 86 on June 8, 2010
This is an awesome airpistol when i first got it i couldn't wait to go shoot it in my backyard it looks like the 40 cal beretta being used by navy seals now.

By Big T on May 2, 2010
I like it. it is a great gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

scary cool
By Casey on April 13, 2010
lets just say, this is a picture of a real 9mm pistol

(website):
electron.cs.uwindsor.ca/~creamer/PX4 Storm.jpg

the px4 storm air gun is a perfect replica of the full-size px4 storm hand gun.

i bought this air pistol for safety reasons minus accidental liabilities. sure, a few rounds will slow somebody down. but the real security with this pistol is its looks. the blowback and hammer function like a real gun. you can lock the hammer back for a sure shot and cancel the shot pulling the hammer back and releasing the trigger.basically, it's a bigger deal not shot than shot.

as for its rating as a pellet gun, i couldn't be happier. very reliable, heavy weight, strong material, blowback really does absorb recoil, legit safety lock.

the best part is the clip. the shots are ingeniously fired from two revolvers (one on each end of the clip). with the same theory as a real guns, this clip will never ever jam. the user gets used to flipping the clip pretty fast; now he's got a super reliable 16 rounds.

highly recommended

Satisfied
By Dennis on February 5, 2010
I am very satisfied with this pellet gun. I bought it so I could shoot inside, avoid the high cost of ammo for my firearms and to teach my wife and son how to shoot a handgun. We have fired over 1000 rounds with one jam. I think there were 2 BBs loaded in 1 cylinder of the magazine. It has the feel of a real firearm, it's accurate, dependable and a lot of fun. My wife and son are becoming very good shots and are learning firearm safety. This will help prepare them to shoot a real firearm.

Expected more
By Bill on December 28, 2009
This is a decent pistol. I like the overall design and construction. The clip design seems to work great. The trigger really sucks though, it makes it feel like a cheap cap gun. There has to be 1/4" of travel before it gets close. It makes it difficult for me to shoot. The accuracy is ok I guess but I was hoping for better. It would be more fun to shoot if I could hit smaller targets from more than 10 yards. This gun may be best suited for indoor shooting.

Great Gun
By Eric on October 23, 2009
Just got the refurbished one today and it looked perfect. the gun is really fun to shoot with realistic weight and recoil. it jammed once because of a burred pellet but other than that its great. Its sometimes hard getting the co2 right but i guess i have to break it in. Great gun Buy it!

By nev munro on October 12, 2009
This gun is awsome . Received it today and coundn't put it down. Blowback is great and the gun is very accurate. I didn't get the co2 totally seated at first and it would not cock. Be sure to get it tight enough. You have to have this gun. My friend thought it was real. It is very authentic looking and the weight is real.

px4 storm
By james bickle on September 21, 2009
first off i would of like to give this a five star rateing.. everything with this gun i love.. i have only gotten to fire 1 co2 through it but the accuracy and recoil are great and not to mention the feel. and being a lefty finding a semi auto that didnt give me any problems was a shock.. i would have givin this a 5 star but my clip will no longer hold pellets. after the 1st co2 id say 40 to 50 pellets i guess that was enough to wipe it out. bb forget it they fall out just as easy as the pellets.. i even purchased the factory recommended pellets.. if i had to change anything on the gun it would def be the clips. they need to be designed better. other than that the gun is great.

Px4 - Storm
By My name? uh....Bob? on July 24, 2009
Overall ratings: 4/5
Value for Money: 5/5

Things I liked:
The blowback is cool, shoots very fast, Most parts are metal, not too expensive

Things I would have changed:
This pistol kinda eats Co2 pretty fast and it leaks if you don't put it in right. Also the BB's fall out, and someone called moose said that the pellets fall out.....well they dont. The BB's fall out, the pellets stay snug as possible and theres a sign on one side of the clip to tell you where to put them.

Things others shoud know: My version is made in Japan and not sure if all the versions were made there, but mine is and it's very high quality.

Nice Pistol
By Satisfied Customer on July 17, 2009
The Beretta PX-4 Storm is a very nice pistol with a sweet clip design. Loading the clips can be time consuming but worth it in the long run as you can shoot for much longer time periods without having to stop to reload pellets into rotary clips. I would agree with Gundude 101, purchase one or two extra clips.

The PX-4's accuracy is decent and the pistol has a nice weight so it stays balanced in your hand. All in all I would highly recommend this pistol to anyone looking for a pellet firing pistol.

nice gun
By gundude101 on July 11, 2009
This gun is fantastic. I love it a lot but i recommend you buy spare magazines, they are expensive but worth it. It shoots better once you put 500 rounds or so through it. It is a fun gun but i recommend it to people who do a lot of shooting. The gun is accurate, has a lot of knock down power and you get about 80 to 170 shots on a co2 cylinder. the safety is not my favorite but don't. let that stop you from getting this gun. it is a good gun and my favorite enjoy your Beretta px4 storm

pellets do fall out but.
By moose on June 17, 2009
as the guy blow me said the bbs and pellets do like to fall out ( meisterkugeln are the ones i got) i agree with every one ( good and bad) on this gun i have yet to go to a range and try it but in sure ( based on the reviews) that it will preform admirably if any one finds the pellets that fit this one well with out coming out please email me at
samuraimoose@hotmail.com
i was not able to find the ones the guy below me mentioned ( or below me when i wrote this) all in all its a great gun the only problem i had ( other than the clip) is the safety a PAIN to do ad not just in how hard it is to actually do my thumbs hurt ( i got two with my order) the jagged edges of the safety will get to you after a while one tip that will help is you don't have to push all the way back to release the safety ( thank god) still a great buy and i am now a big fan of umarex due the this gun. i think the best thing about this gun is the double action on this meaning when the co2 is low you don't have to keep on pulling the hammer back it is a little harder to pull but still worth it
thanks for reading this

Follow up to Gun 5 out of 5 Clip 3 out of 5
By KunaScotty on May 19, 2009
I submitted a review on May 3rd 2009 where I expressed that I had some clip problems with certain pellets being loose, and falling out of the clip.

Not to Plug Cabela's, but I tried their 10.5 Grain Ultra Magnum Semi-Dome .177 Caliber Hunting Pellets, and they not only stayed in the clip and seated properly, but they increased penetration and the accuracy as well !

The clip still has some issues with the friction guide groves wearing prematurely thus allowing some looseness and fit problems with certain pellets, but... these pellets made my 3 out of 5 rating for the clip into a 4 out of 5.

Further more...
Took my Lady out shooting and she absolutely fell in love with the pistol! The valuable training and smooth transition to the PX4 Storm Firearm we are purchasing in 9mm made purchasing this pistol the single most valuable purchase I have ever made in a training aid.

Now that we have over a thousand rounds through the pistol, I can tell you all that it actually has "settled in" and gotten BETTER, if that is even possible. The pistol is getting more accurate, the CO2 loading has been flawless, seals nicely, and the Fun Factor now that we finally found some pellets that fit the clip a little better is Off the Hook!

Umarex... I now give you a 5 out of 5 and Airgun Depot a 10 out of 10 for providing such an outstanding site, and allowing us the opportunity to discuss and share our passion and our reviews. Your reviews Rock! You Site Rocks! and Your Prices Rock!

Thank you Airgun Depot.

0Gun 5 Stars-Clip 3 out of 5
By KunaScotty on May 3, 2009
Just purchased this Beretta PX4 Storm by Umarex and so far at least, I am quite Impressed! The weight, and excellent reproduction accuracy to the Beretta PX4 Storm firearm is second to none! AWESOME job Umarex!

The only thing that has really let me down is the clip. With only 16 shots into the game... the pellets were very loose and sloppy in the clip. They would even fall out of the front as well while loading. When I finished the first eight shots and ejected the clip to flip it and tap out the other eight... the exposed or top cylinder pellet just fell out of the clip. (Not too great if you want to waste your gas on a blank shot). I checked all 16 holes and the thin plastic friction groves in the plastic were torn off or missing. Nothing left to create friction with the pellet, or BB and hold it in the clip. I've tried different brands of pellets and Just plain Generic standard RWS Target pellets had the least amount of looseness, and Gamo PBA pellets were the worst! BB's are in the "Don't even try it" Category.
All in all... the power, accuracy (½” Group, 16 Shots at 18feet), the fit and finish of this gun are TOP Notch aside from the clip. I am ordering two clips now, and think that maybe the clip I initially got with my pistol may have just been a glitch!

Aside from the clip… this is the MOST FUN I have EVER Had with a Pellet gun, Pistol, or Rifle. Get one “if you can find one”

Blowback AND punch
By Bob on March 19, 2009
Finally an air pistol with the feel and fun of a real sidearm with some explosive power. I love this gun. It beats my WaltherCP99 Compact by a mile. This gun is fun to shoot and has become my favorite of my 9 pistols. N. E. Dan is correct it is CO@ hungry but what you get for those 40 shots is pure shooting enjoyment.
If you are buying just one gun and must have blowback this is the one to get.

Great clone
By Bob on March 8, 2009
I recently bought this gun from Airgun Depot and am amazed at the feel and heft of this gun. Then I saw the real thing at the sporting goods store and could not tell the difference. This is a real winner when it comes to a clone of a true firearm. Not as powerful as some of the Crosmans and Daisys but still very punchy at 430 FPS. Goes great with my PX4 Storm assult rifle. I'll report on that after I shoot it awhile. You will love th pistol as do I. My next purchase will be the Elite II at 480 FPS.

sick ass gun
By ROCKSTAR on March 8, 2009
THIS GUN IS THE BEST i recently got it and only fired about 32 co2 in 2 hours it sounds odd but so true the worst part about this gun is that it only comes with one mag but i bought 15 of them and i had to reload within 5 minutes the double sided clip is awsome i mean bam bam bam turn it around and more the safty is reliable and eas to use a bit power hungry but so worth it BUY THIS GUN

I've been looking at and comparing air pistols on many different websites for days and I have to say that this would be my favorite one so far. So far the best ones I've seen would be the crosman pro77 and the c11 and this gun beats them by looks, and accuracy judging by the reviews and rates. Buying this gun tomorrow and I can't wait! :D Happyface

Not enough co2 in the world, once you start firing you cant stop, it just eats the pellets. Great sight. Love the blowback. Easy to use

More Fun Than Expected
By N.E.Dan on February 27, 2008
I took a chance buying this gun because it was a sure bet it being of great Umarex quality. They don't sell much under $100 due to the excellent feel and materials they use.
What I didn't expect was the fun factor and decent aim for a pistol. The Blow Back is a hoot. A bit power hungry but worth it. 40 shots per c02.
The 8/8 16 round reverse able clip works flawlessly and is fun too!
Fire off 8 shots, press the button on the side to drop the clip, reverse it , slide it back in and fire off 8 more.
With Crosman S.E.Hollow points all my shots were chronied over 410 fps.
Rating based on comparative priced pistols.

Grood Gun...

Great gun... the blowback certainly adds a great touch onto this gun....it feels like it has a lot of power and is real accurate as far as I can tell... only downsides are that the slide on my gun is a little loose, the clips are kinda cumbersome to load, and the Co2 cover on the back of the handle is a little loose... but overall, its a great air pistol and I would recomend it to anyone...One Co2 last around 5-6 clips (60-72 shots..)

Great GUN

Wife loves it. Just the sound sends pest running. I'm glad of that because I was the one that had to pick up the bodies. Slick looking...Left it laying on the coffee table on purpose when a friend was coming over. When he saw it he thought it was a real Beretta.

I have two questions:

1. Can you add accessories to this gun like a flashlight or laser pointer?

2. Which bbs/pellets shoot best with this gun? Can you use pointed pellets?

Thanks!
By Staff on April 10, 2012

Answer:
Yes you can attach many items to this gun.

These would work very well:

I read some bad reviews about the magazine. What's your opinion?
By Living_Laser from United States on February 22, 2012

Answer:
I own this gun and so far no problems, although the BBs on the very bottom of the clip and mag might fall out when shooting due to the nice blowback but BBs arent recommended for Rifled barrels.
Rounded nose pellets fit nice but just dont use pointed tips with rotary mags.
