In 1994, a project was launched in Fort Worth, Texas to rethinking airgunning by designing a completely new air gun system unlike any available on the market. These airguns would be powered by compressed air operating the high pressures commonly associated with Scuba diving. Since this airgun was being designed from scratch, a list of objectives and goals was made. The airgun needed to be light weight, have a target grade accuracy, offer adjustable power, allow easy attachment of accessories and be less expensive the exotic imported PCP airguns of the time that use high pressure air supplies.
