Can I shoot these out of a .30 caliber hatsan blitz? Even if it is single shot can I fire these seneca flat nose 133 grain slugs without harming the rifle?

asked Hubert from USA

What air rifle can shoot this kind of ammo?

This will work on the texan ss .30?

Would it work with a Hatsan Mod 130S Vortex QE .30 Cal. ?

asked Flipper

I have the Hatsan Mod 130S on order, and my research indicates "yes", it should work with that gun, but it will only shoot this 133 grain bullet at 310 fps (which is still 210 mph). I say this because 1) a review on this 0.30 slug (https://www.airgundepot.com/fx-hybrid-slug-30-cal-445-hollowpoint-grains-100ct.html) says it falls right out of the hatsan 130 because this bullet size is too small diameter for the Hatsan--so they recommend a 0.308 diameter slug, and 2) I did the physics calcs, and assuming constant muzzle energy, which is a decent assumption, a 44.75 grain pellet leaves the Hatsan 130 at 536 fps (I saw this on a YouTube video), with 28.5 ft-lb energy (I calculated that), so a 133 grain slug would only have 310 fps at that same energy (again, based on my physics calculations). Give it a shot and report back!
