Certain shapes are better for certain applications:

• Domed pellets are great for long-distance shots while retaining power.

• .30 pellets - The perfect universal pellet caliber that handles game up to 75 lbs, but is also good for target shooting and pest control. (may not be backyard friendly)
• .50 pellets - Perfect for big game hunting. .50 caliber pellets have been used to hunt everything from deer to buffalo. (use a high-powered air rifle for best performance)
