I love this hand pump, I still have it and it works well. Like other reviews I've read, it does take a lot of energy to refill your PCP rifles. I'm looking into purchasing a tank. I'm also looking to purchasing a a tank 4 my bullboss. Overall the hand pump has performed well.

AV G6 Hand pump
October 4, 2017
I ordered this hand pump, It arrived very well package with no damage.

I pump up a 13 ci /3000 psi Hpa tank to 2000 psi to test every thing, worked perfectly, with little effort etc, (first time hand pumping).
Shot this tank down testing a new repeater mod.

I filled the tank again, to 2000 psi, and after draining the hose, detached the the chuck and several small ball bearings fell out of the chuck.

I contacted AGD via email and explained what had occurred with the chuck, (on the weekend), and promptly received a reply back within several minutes.

On Monday, I received a second email, which stated that a replacement part (chuck) was being sent to me, with no question asked.
Within several days, the chuck arrived and I attached it to the hand pump hose, then filled the Hpa tank back to 3000 psi,
pump worked very well, with only moderate effort at this higher psi.

I am very pleased with this hand pump, the replacement chuck problem was handled extremely fast and efficient by Air Gun Deport,
which was greatly appreciated.

I will continue to buy from AGD with all my future needs.

Thank you,
Don (Nvreloader)
ProsAir Gun Deport sets a very high standard for responsive resolutions to a problem experienced from products, bought from them. Extremely fast reply and prompt service, very quick shipping on replacement part, which works very well now.

G6 Hand pump
June 6, 2017
This hand pump does just what it was designed to do. It is a some what cheap way to air up your guns. It is not the best way, but to start with its a must have. Will be saving up for a carbon fiber bottle and a compressor. But for now I am able to enjoy shooting my guns. It was fairly easy to put together, and test. From o to 2000 psi , piece of cake, then it gets a bit rough to get to 3000 psi. But hey i'm 63. Just take your time and its not that bad. Remember to pause at the top and at the bottom of the stroke, to let the air get into the gun. The instructions were lacking, but common sense will get you there. There is no place to hook the hose to the pump, even though there is a spring clip to do so. A zip tie, and a hook solves that. This is what keeps the pump from extending when you pick it up. The gauge is easy to read, and is spot on with the gauge on my rifle. Remember to grease the pump once in a while, with grease it comes with. Don't try to pump to fast, be a beast with it. If so you will heat up the pump and shorten it's life spam. Keep the test plug in the end of hose when not in use, to keep debris out of the foster fitting. Take care of your equipment, and your equipment will take care of you.
Prosdoes what it was made to do. no where did it say it wasn't a work out.
Conscould use a bit better instructions, Or at least bigger lettering. Hard to read for an old man.

Could be a great pump
May 15, 2017
I have no doubt this could be a great pump.I got a lemon but with a little tlc could be fixed.I didn't want to void the warranty so I sent it back and Air Depot gave me a refund or exchange my choice.Orings would probably fix this pump to good as new.No complaints on the pump or the dealer.
ProsPotentially pumps up fast.Folding base.Long hose and fittings included.
ConsShould be tested better before shipping.

Fill Your Tube Anywhere/Anytime
May 12, 2017
I bought the pump so that I would have an air source of air for my air cylinder tub. Be sure to follow the instructions that come with the pump. It is important that you test the supply line and connections for leaks. If your pump has no leaks in the line and you start losing pressure when filling the cylinder, then you have a leak in your cylinder or gun. This pump satisfactorily filled the air cylinder tube, but, as your are told in the instructions, be prepared to work by the time the cylinder is full. I am 77 years old and weigh 275 pounds. I can see where filling the tube with this pump would be difficult for someone who weighed less that 150 pounds.
ProsDoes the job it is advertised for.
ConsWork. If you like a good workout on your arms, legs and back, this pump is a great device for filling you air tube and helping you stay in shape.

Great Pump
May 3, 2017
Haven't made the jump to a tank yet so got this pump for my Hatsan AT44S-10 QE, .25 cal and I think its great. Yes, it takes a little work to pump up the gun, but it's not as bad as some people make it sound IMO, or maybe my Hatsan is just easier to pump than other guns. I can't say as it's my first PCP gun. At least with this I will always have a way to charge the gun under any circumstance and can eventually move up to a tank or hopefully a high power compressor one day. Hopefully they come down in price at some point but for new PCP owners this is a great way to start in my opinion.
ProsBuilt well lots of spare parts, good cardio vascular exercise LOL.
ConsMay not be fast enough to fill during a zombie apocalypse (sorry only thing I could come up with as a negative LOL)

bough as a back up pump to the Benjamin hand pump.Found it easier to pump than the Benjamin pump also has a longer hose and a test plug plus some parts for a rebuild.easy to put together but you need to seal the hose with plumbing tape which instructions doesn't tell you.
Proseasier to pump than the Benjamin pump/rebuild kit included.Well packaged by AGD package from fed ex looked like it went through hell but inside boxes were ok

March 31, 2017
I use the G6 hand pump to fill the 200cc cylinder on my Rex rifle to 220 barrel with very little effort. The reason I purchased it is because of its compact size and ability to fill up to 4500 psi. It is built very well, and it comes with plenty of extra parts for repairs. That's was a big big factor when I was considering a hand pump.
ProsDurable, rebuildable, back packable, awesome.

Does it's job
February 19, 2017
Ok, what can one really say about a hand pump... it works as advertised. But here is the real deal... hand pumps are great for guns with air cylinders of 215cc or less shooting at around 3000psi...if you have more, get a tank! These things are a workout, if you are old and fat (my kids words) like me, then this is a genuine workout. I bought mine to fill an armada. I have now ordere an air tank. Can it be done? Yes. Am I glad I purchased it? Yes. If the world comes unglued and I can't get my bottle filed do I have options? Yes. However; did I seriously contemplate shooting my gun because I didn't want to have to pump it back up again? YES. So, it does it's job and you should buy one, but put it in the safe so when the zombies have killed all the scuba shop owners you still have a plan b. Always have a plan b.

Good pump, comes with extra parts/repair kit
February 1, 2017
I purchased one of these with my first PCP, a .25 Condor SS. It took me about 640 pumps and 45 minutes to go from 0 to 3000 psi. I had to take a couple of breaks but the pump functioned flawlessly. I'm 6'1" and the handle height was good for me to go through the full stroke of the pump. Above 2500 psi you can really tell you're doing something because it gets much harder to pump. That is going to be the case with any hand pump. I love that it came with a rebuild kit but I haven't had to use it so far in 50+ refills of my Condor. That's an air hungry gun so after 40 shots or so you are in the 1500-1700 psi range. At that point the fun is over and the work begins. For me that is around 300-400 pumps. It's a workout to say the least but it is possible for this to be your filling solution. I suggest you invest in a 75 cu-ft or larger 4500 psi air tank that you can fill up for a little money at a paintball or SCUBA shop. But if you wanted to take this thing into the field with you for ~100 shot session out of your PCP the weight is manageable.
ProsGood price point of ~$200 for a hand pump. Comes with a rebuild kit. Good hose length with a test plug to keep spiders and dirt out of the fitting. The folding feet are a nice touch when you have to haul this around.
ConsNot made in the USA. I try to support American manufacturing when I can.

Pleased with performance so far
ProsTakes about 10 minutes of pumping to fill my AT44-10 QE. Came with spare parts and grease

This hand pump can be a headache
January 7, 2017
Ok where to start, so when I got this hand pump I thought to myself that the instructions issue can't be that bad, and yes it's bad they only show you a few tiny pictures as examples with no words, not even a proper video tutorial online, I'm new to the PCP world so I end up breaking a O ring, I exceeded the 4500 psi when testing it by 100 psi (not realizing I exceeded it) and the oil fill seal gave up and I had glycerin oil all over my garage and although it really was my fault, at just 100 psi over it shouldn't break like that, it doesn't have a proper holding place for the hose so it's dangling in floor, but at least it does work properly and it's very well made no plastic cheap materials.

AGD has second to none customer service!!
January 5, 2017
1st Pump I had to send back, because it did not function properly. The 2nd pump did not come adequately lubed and after the second time I filled my Condor SS from 2500psi to 3000psi I had to take it apart and lube it. Also the quick release fitting came apart and the plates of folding base are bent ! There are a lot of reviews about this pump and they give it 5 stars that's why I went with it. I think I'm being generous by giving 2 stars ! I added photos of my hose hanger a zip tie piece of chain and shrink tubing.
ProsAir Gun Depot has Excellent customer service ! ! 5 stars for the customer service !
Conspoor quality control at Air Venturi !!!

Should include a readable detail print/schematic for assembly as well as the rebuild parts that are sent with it. Nicely made was common sense assembly just look at the picture but none the less prints are the way to go. Have had it up to the 1450 psi test no leaks, I have charged my condor ss up to 2000 psi does just fine. Will be charging at some point to the 3000 psi mas fill soon. Yes you will get a work out but hell no need to go to the gym and it really isn't that bad
Prosnicely made base and folding feet are great, pressure gauge is accurate does what is supposed to. Handle is comfortabled
ConsJust really should include rebuild/assembly prints full size sheet of paper or better

Great PCP hand pump!
October 21, 2016
First off, I had a great experience with Airgun Depot, their Customer Service was excellent.
Now, about the pump. The AV G6 hand pump is easy to use, comes with spare parts, and is capable of PSI outputs reaching 4000! Also, the reason I opted for this pump as opposed to the Benji hand pump, is because it has a water filter to keep water out of your gun.
Quite frankly, it is the best pump on the market, for this price.
I can easily pump my Benjamin Maximus from low (yellow on the pressure gauge) all the way to 2100 PSI in about 8 Minutes. Very impressed, I highly recommend this pump.

Nice Pump
October 12, 2016
This is my first hand pump and at first i had a little problem i didn't open the release valve and pump it a few times. So it had air in the line and did not make much pressure. After i figured out my mistake it only took about 50 pumps to go from 2000 psi to 3000 psi. Even if you shoot a lot it dose not take to much effort to top off your rifle. If you don't have a fill station close buy you to fill air tanks this is not a bad way to go.
ProsWell built and a lot of extra rebuild parts you might need are included.
ConsThey really need to supply a bracket to hang the air hose on.

.50 cal workout...G6 does the trick!
October 3, 2016
This hand pump has a solid build and easy to assemble. I would probably have additional positive comments if I was not filling a .50 cal Dragon Claw!:). Most people would opt for a tank, which i will eventually purchase. For now, I will enjoy the workout.
ProsSolid build, no compression issues.

It Works, and so do you
September 29, 2016
The first pump I received was defective and I had to return to Air Gun Depot for replacement. This went well and AGD promptly sent a second pump that worked well.
ProsThis pump does what you need it to do. I am 70 years-old with a pacemaker and had been cautioned by AGD staff that using the pump is physically demanding. They were correct, however, I am able to pressurize the tank and do not have to travel to another location (scuba shop) to air the tank. I would buy this pump again.
ConsLimited documentation provided by manufacturer. I learned more about the pump from You-Tube than the instruction pamphlet. The one bit of information I was never able to find online was an answer to the question, "About how many times do you have to pump in order to fill the tank (for the Hatsan AT44- QE10 Series)?" For future buyers, the answer is "about 75." First 20 strokes are easy and last 20 are not.

It takes a bit of work, but air is always available.
September 12, 2016
Set up was simple and straight forward. No problems getting the pump online. Filling the cylinder of my Galatian takes about 100-150 pumps, depending how empty the tank is. My only gripe is with the hose. There is no where to put it during pump storage.
ProsAir is always available to shoot with.
ConsIt does take some energy to fill the tank. A place to hang the hose would have been nice.

April 20, 2016
Pumping High Pressure Air, ain't no fun, can't make it fun don't even try. So the best you can do is get a tool that works as hard as you do and doesn't waste any of your work. This pump does just that. It is well built and solid, and comes supplied with enough extras to last long enough for you to find a better way to fill your rifle or gun. I'm old and busted so I pump 20 times then take a break. FYI - It takes about 4 strokes to make one 25 Cal. shot.
ProsWell made and thought out. It has collapsible feet and they work well, folding for storage. The gauge is easy to read and fluid filled.
ConsWould it be so hard for the manufactures to include a clip to hang the hose from, my only bitch.

The best Pump for the money!
March 24, 2016
This is the second Pump I own and I tell you the Benjamin Pump do not come near to this one. With the Benjamin I had a hard time to get no more then 2200 lbs. in my Marauder. With the Air Venturi G6 it was a breeze to see 3000 lbs. in my Rifle. I don't know how much more can go , or, how long it will last with this performance, but you have the extras they send you to repair it if you have a leak. I am a happy Camper with this one.
ProsAll good for me.

FAR Better Than the Hill Pump.
September 17, 2015
I bought the Hill pump upon all the hype of other reviews. The pump worked well, for a week. As it turns out the clay desiccant they use in the filter is like riding a motorcycle with a bucket on your head rather than a helmet. It looks as though things are in order, then you learn its a fake the hard way. My guns had to be opened and dried as they had much water in them. What finally ended the unit was the seals became ground up due to the rust inside the pump! The G6 now used the same amount, and in same conditions is amazing. Far easier to operate, and not water when opening the bleed valve. Best pump I have used. Forget the Hill and all the hype, this is a far better unit.
ProsDRY AIR! Easier to operate than others. Very solid construction. Desiccant actually works.
ConsMade in China!? Interesting as it appears to be better made than the Hill!!

Would not work!
August 22, 2015
I bought this pump with a Hatsan AT44 QE....
It would not pump air into the PCP reservoir.
AGD thought it was the cylinder....
Returned the rifle & bought a Hatsan BT65....
The same thing happened....checked & re-checked the seals, connections, etc....used tried with & without plumber's (Teflon), tape....there were NO leaks....but the pump would not fill the PCP cylinder....you would pump about 15-20 times, then it would become absolutely impossible to pump anymore, then release the pressure with the bleed thumb screw on the base of the pump....
So I returned both the pump and the rifle.
Then I bought the Hill pump & the Hatsan AT 44 QE long, both work flawlessly!!....what a HUGE difference...the Hill pump is great!....it's not even that difficult to pump from 100 bar to 200 bar.
ProsThat it made me buy the Hill pump.
ConsWould not work, wasted two months trying to figure out what was wrong... Pretty much everything.
