The QB series airguns were original designed to use unconventional 5 & 7oz CO2 tanks. But standard 9oz CO2 tanks just don't quite fit without moving the barrel. The Air Venturi Paintball tank adapter allows you to use a 9oz tank on either your QB79 or AR2079.
Please note that the adapter is not designed to sit snuggly to your QB79 series rifle due to variations on factory thread start points. Instead once screwed in and in the desirable position, use the included set screw to seat the adapter snuggly. There may be a small gamp left between the adapter and the block that can be filled with a suitable O ring if needed (not supplied).

The 9oz Tippmann CO2 tank fit my QB79 without touching the barrel but barely. I got this adapter to give me more room and to allow me to use the Air Venturi 13cu Inch HPA tank on the gun. I mostly use the HPA tank on the QB79 over the CO2 tank and you need this adapter to do this otherwise the HPA Tank gauge hits the barrel when trying to screw on the HPA Tank.
