I'm not an knowledge expert concerning PCP air rifles and compressors, but I am an avid user. I purchased this for my Avenger .22 to replace the "bicycle pump". I chose it based on it's size/portability, professional reviews, and it's affordable. The noise level is reasonable as well. I'm satisfies with my purchase and it's performance.

I don't care for the 12V battery clamp-on connector and would prefer a "cigarette lighter" type connector instead. When outdoors I run it off a Bluetti or Jackery power station which has AC outlets.

The reason for the low score was I waited a month for the compressor. When I received it I was very excited to use it. I plugged it in and poof it sorted out and tripped my breaker to my house. I got on the phone the next day with Air Depot and decided to exchange it for the JTS and nowI have Air and enjoying my air rifle .

This arrived well packaged in a sturdy box. The compressor is noisy but not excessively so. It filled a stock Benjamin Bulldog .357 to 3100 PSI from 0 PSI in 8:18, and I got to tell you, it sure beats a hand pump! I tried to find the power specs prior to purchasing and there's no info out there at all, so I'll post my findings here. Current draw @120vac starts at 2.5A, and climbs up to ~4.0A as PSI 3000; as measured with a Kill A Watt. Current draw @12vdc is ~19A at 3000 PSI as measured using an amp meter built into a bench power supply. The sturdy shipping box make a great storage container and will be useful if the unit ever needs to be sent in for repair, so I recommend saving it. It's nice to see a product like this from a reputable company at a reasonable price, time will tell how durable it is. In the meantime, my trusty hand pump will sit in a corner collecting dust.
