AirForce Airguns has lightened up each of the rifles in the Texan line by about 20 percent and has increased the power with the addition of their new Carbon Fiber tank and TX2 valve. The standard, aluminum bottles' maximum fill pressure tops out at 200 BAR (roughly 2900 psi,) the CF bottles' 250-BAR (3626 psi) max fill pressure produce muzzle energies in excess of 700 fpe in the Texan and Texan LSS and up to 600 fpe in the Texan Carbine and SS models. So if you currently own .457 cal Texan model and want to increase the performance and reduce the overall weight, then this is all you will need!

*Note: These carbon-fiber tanks will only fit .457-cal AirForce Texan PCPs.

Does Air Force have a carbon fiber tank with TX2 valve for Texan.45 ?

asked Micheal from USA

Will this tank work for the airforce Texan 50 cal ?

asked Armando from USA

Will I need to buy a water filter for my air compressor to prevent air moisture from rusting it? Or is carbon fiber immune to rust?

asked Jose from USA

Your compressor should have a moisture trap system built in. An additional filter system would not hurt. There are metal components in the valve of the tank.

Mark from USA

Has anyone personally received one of the carbon fiber tanks that fits their air force.457

asked Jeff from USA

We currently do not have the CF tank in stock.

Mark from USA

.457 caliber. Sounds nuts but will it fit on any Texan that shoots .45? I don't see a .457 for sale. Advise, thanks.

asked Dan Healy

Does this come charged?
