The Crow Magnum pellet is designed for those shooters who wanted a heavier hollow point with a gigantic forward expansion cup. A key objective of the new design was to provide exceptional stability, and thus long range accuracy for the higher power adult airguns on the market. A yawning mouth and greater forward weight was included resulting in one of the world's most accurate field pellets. In independent testing, a .25 caliber Crow Magnum pellet recovered from a feral pigeon had nearly doubled in size to .41 caliber when shot at 25 yards! Easily one of the most unique pellets we have ever designed, the Crow Magnum was bestowed a Product Award of Merit by American Firearms Industry magazine

Good short range pellets
October 29, 2017
I got descent accuracy out of these pellets in a benji trail np. But when these thing connect with a squirrel there is no doubting whether or not you made a hit! The smack is Louder than the gun firing!

My Favorite pellets!
March 20, 2017
I love the expansion.
ProsExpands the best after testing polymags, hollow points and Baracudas. Hard hitting on pest that makes a sound similar to a meat patty being slapped against the floor. "PluumFF!"

Really Accurate and Deadly
June 11, 2016
I like these pellets from the moment I opened the tin. Well formed, no distortions or burrs, heavy. The weight forward distribution of the head and deep skirts really make for accurate shot placement. The deep cup makes a very loud WAP as it makes a devastating exit wound. Heck- the impact is louder than the report from my Ruger- Yukon NP22. I tend to use these for my longer distance shots with confidence in a clean kill. Feral pigeons, chickens, and iguana's are dispatched humanely with few follow-up shots needed. Well worth the money. Bman
ProsWell formed, accurate, devastating exit wounds. Accurate.....accurate...
ConsScrew top on the tin would be nice.

Nice pellet design and weight form a well renowned manufacturer!
ProsHave had Beeman pellets from my first FWB 124 over thirty years ago and they never fail to function perfectly as expected in most better guns.
ConsNone to mention!

These pellets are mean and I mean mean. They have one of the oldest thuds I've heard when hitting a target of any sort. The expand like crazy. Highly reccomended

These Shoot Straight & Hit hard
May 25, 2015
Beeman makes this great pellet for target practice, but also for dealing with pesky varmints & crows. At nearly 19 gr a pretty strong gun is needed to spit them down range with authority. At least 850 FPS. My Walther Talon Magnum in .22 just loves them, They fit nice and tight into the chamber, and blow a BIG exit hole through a Campbell's Soup can at 40 yards. I'm on my second 200 round can, and have yet to find a smashed or mutant pellet . That helps get consistent groups. They come in a slip off lid can, too. Terrific Ammo!! I shoot them in my Winchester 1029 in .177, and it loves them, too. Give em a try, you won't regret it.
ConsThe only MINOR drawback, which is the same for all hollow point pellets, is that on longer shots with a crosswind, they don't stay as true all the way to the target as its AERODYNAMIC "Brother" the Silver Arrow. Its pointed nose knifes through any wind much better to the target, but remember it will not provide the knockdown power or do the damage that the Crow Magnumdoes. I'm nearly finished with my first can of the, too. Both Super Pellets!!

Heavy Hitter
January 17, 2015
This is a heavy hitting pellet. No problem with penetration and expands well also.
ProsGood heavy weight pellet.
ConsWish the cans had screw on lids.

Accuracy, speed and energy.
November 7, 2014
The .22 cal. crow magnum pellets chrono at 749 fps avg out of my Hatsan 95 springer for 22.7 fpe. They are accurate from the 95, grouping at 1/4 from the rest at 15 yds and about quarter size from the artillery hold when I do my part. My 95 is not ammo choosy, so I'm pleased that these big pellets are very consistent. Expensive when compared to many other brands, but you get what you pay for.
ProsAccuracy, consistency. Size-Weight.
ConsHarder to load than dome pellets. The skirt protrudes slightly from the chamber when loaded with just fingers. Pricey.

hard hitting...
July 11, 2014
My Benjamin Limited edition NP powered gun loves these pellets!! But it seems that starlings and grackels hate them!! Poor birdies!!! they drop like a rock when hit with this pellet.
Prosvery accurate in my Benjamin springer and a very good hunting pellet.
ConsMy marauder doesn't care for them, but I have other pellets for that one!!

1/2 inch @ 50 feet
December 13, 2013
I took every pellet type I had and went to the back yard.

Crow Magnum 18.21 grains is what my gun loves...
ProsOnce sighted in with these pellets, 1/2 inch group of 5 @ 50 feet pretty regular.... One pellet was close with 3/4 inch hole. I had one fly away in 200 shots fired... Highly recommend that you take a look at these pellets with a 200 round tin... You will not regret it
ConsGetting them into the chamber has to be perfect aligned.with the bore, easy after the first coupla shots.... make sure the skirts are ROUND when you load these pellets...

One of the heaviest pellets I ever shot
September 11, 2013
A heavy hitter, but I wouldn't expect it to travel long distance unless you have a very high powered air rifle. Ranging from squirrels to rabbits or crows stand no chance. The expansion on impact is insane..
Pros-One of the heaviest lead pellets I've ever shot -The exit wound expands bigger than my other hollow point pellets -The knockdown power is noticeable -Perfect for small game
Cons-It won't fit every pellet rifle out there due to its wider skirt and thickness (slightly bigger than the average 14.3 g .22 pellet)

Knockdown power
February 13, 2013
I tested this pellet with my Benjamin Discovery, shooting into a block of modeling clay. I also tested Superdome, SuperH, and Premier hollowpoint. A long and heavy pellet made to high standards. Made a entry hole that I could see from my shooting position. POP-THWACK! Penetration was only about 2 inches, but, the hole was huge. Expansion was perfect with every shot, expanding to about 9MM diameter.
ProsKnockdown power and excellent expansion. Serious hunting pellet.

January 29, 2013
Manufactured to very high standards, this pellet is heavy, hits real hard and expands to the size of a .38 in the target!! Great for small game.

"Crow" Magnum for a reason
January 18, 2013
I've been a crow hunter for some time now and these pellets don't disappoint, given the the correct propulsion system (in my case an RWS 48). I've taken crow with instant results with this pellet. However, it's almost impossible to tell how much the pellet expands on the rotten black bird as it goes completely through.
Phone book results show good expansion at 40 M with incredible pellet expansion.
ProsAccurate at medium distance. Humane kill shots for crow hunting.

Must buy
January 12, 2013
Bought a tin of these and some polymags and they both rock! Polymags score in accuracy but both are straight knockdown down! Have been knocking squirrels out of the trees with a good shot. The crow mags land with a very satisfactory thump everytime.
ConsTin size, should be more and not screw top.

Not accurate.
May 26, 2012
They do hit hard with good expansion, but not very accurate. It is a very long pellet and takes some effort to push into barrel. Shooting in a RWS Diana Mdl. 34. Shot groups with the Crow Magnum are Much larger than with the Beeman FTS round nose. Very Disappointed. Can't use them for hunting.
Consinaccurate. 5 inch groups at 25 yards.

April 12, 2012
These pellets are worth every cent for them. They fly straight, hit hard and expand completely upon impact for what must be a massive shock to any critters system! They punched through a 5/8" board of walnut when most others either just penetrated enough to stick to the board or bounce off it! You MUST have these in your arsenal to be succesfull!!!
ProsThey hit Hard, They Hit Hard and they Hit HARD!!!
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about the round itself, but they could make them in 250 or 500 tins!!!!!

Beeman Crow Magnum .22 Pellet
January 28, 2012
I'm using these in a Benjamen NPXL1100 and after the gun was broken in, these offer good accuracy shooting indoors at about 60 feet. Haven't given them a good test outdoors at longer distances yet.
Prosclean, consistent, acdurate in my gun
ConsToo expensive to use for regular target practice. Not asaccurate as the JSB Exact Jumbo 18.1, in my gun, but you may get diffirent results

Beeman Crow Magnums .22 cal
May 25, 2011
I shoot a Gamo Breakbarrel in .22 caliber. These crow magnums are by far the best ammo I have none. I shoot ground squirrels 3 to 5 days a week. The pellets seat tight in the barrel and are extremely accurate. The little squirrels require head shots for clean kills and these pellets really do the job.
By Pest H.
very good pellets
April 22, 2011
These things are great for most airguns because of how fast they kill. Today and yesterday i have shot a total of 5 cowbirds and grackles with my airforce condor using these pellets. I was at my friends house and when I shot a cowbird on top of a telephone pole, It died so fast It didnt even fall until a strong gust of wind came. That was from about 50 yards too! This morning I saw a grackle land on anothe pole and aimed at it offhand from 30 yards. boom! I looked like i had missed though, but then the bird slowly fell forward. Last week i also got a 1/2 inch group at 30 yards!!!! Leaves gaping wounds also!!!!

Accurate and Powerful
April 22, 2009
I just loaded one of these bad boys into my new RWS 34 Panther 800 fps .22 cal...and let it rip on a squirrel at 60 feet. It dropped the crawled a foot and died..These pellets are favorite! A must buy if you own a powerful rifle. You wont be disappointed!!!!

some people that it might be their guns are shooting inaccurately b/c of a break in peorid, something in the barrel, or the windage of whare they are shooting so in no wind or with a well sighted in gun they might work considerably better

The pellets do make a big hole in a crow, but the accuracy suffers at longer distances. Good for closer shots.
By JB F.
They are O.K.
May 14, 2008
My RWS 48 shoots the Crossman wadcutter better and they are a lot cheaper. Shoots about 1 1/2 " groups at 30 yards, on a good day.

beeman crow magnum pellets
July 3, 2007
pellets expand wonderfully, but penetration is of course limited. best for short-range shots, as accuracy suffers slightly.
June 29, 2007
Great pellets! makes woodchucks dead!
The expansion of the cup is very, very impressive probably close to 30cal or more when properly expanding on small game but they drop considerably past 30yards.

Hollow Point
June 18, 2007
AGD sent me a can of RWS hollow point instead of the Crow Magnums that I ordered. However, I am quite pleased with the RWS hollow point. They're VERY accurate! And accuracy is key for hollow point effectiveness in hunting. My RWS hollow points are about 14.2 gr. and they smash out flat while penetrating a half inch board. Not all went through, but many of them did.
By Spencer T.
Great for short range pest control
February 13, 2007
The pellets are great for hunting. They did not retain consistant accuracy over 40 yards from my Tech Force 99 compared to the recommended pellets for my gun. But other than that, they do what they claim. They will take down a target.
