This scope is too long for the rifle I was going to put it on so I put it on my HW30S by using both mounting clamps on the front part of the scope. It is clear and I could see ok through it but could not adjust it higher than 14 power, because I could not hold it still enough to stay on a target. I took it off and put it on another rifle and without thinking started to cock the break barrel rifle and the barrel hit the scope. It was my fault as I had gotten in a hurry to change it to the other rifle. Well I had bent it wen the barrel hit it and the adjustments would not let it get within 8" of my aim point. So I remounted it 180 degrees different and used the same lever to adjust it back enough to hit paper. It was still off and I mounted it in the correct way and then holding the rifle with the scope mounted, pushed the scope against a bench. It now comes in and stays on POA, but I am worried that if I drop it I will have the problem again. I would think the tube would be a little stronger, so if you get it, be careful when you mount it on break barrel or if it falls against the scope front.

Pros
Has a good clear sight picture and adjusts easily from 10m to other ranges

Cons
Very long and I think a little weak for its length

i think this is one of the most overlooked scopes on the market, i have 2 of these one on my benjamin titan 22 cal and one on my hatsan 125 th in 25 cal. i have over 3000 rounds through the benji and 2000 through my hatsan with no problems what so ever and anyone who has ever shot a hatsan 125 knows it kicks like a mule. this scope has great clarity and the turrets have crisp clicks,it has screw on lens covers which are a nice addition...i would give it 10 stars but thats not possible here, you will not beat this scope for the price!

Pros
great clarity, mil dot ,ao,very reliable scope

Cons
NONE

I called the company to ask some questions about the scope. I was told that the bsa scopes are NOT made for air rifles. the reverse recoil of a air rifle will trash them.

Got this scope about a Month ago. Mounted on a Big Cat 1400. The scope holds zero very well and have had no issues after 500 or more rounds. This cope is very clear. 4 stars because the barrel will not open with sunshade installed.

What's the tube diameter on this? or does it come with it's own mount?

asked Timothy from USA

Is this scope a 1in tube or is it a 30mm tube!

asked james from USA

It is a 1 inch tube. NOT 30 mm!

Derek

Is this a 1in tube or is it a 30mm tube.

asked james from USA

How long is this scope?

asked Smitty

How does the score shad not allowing the rifle to cock affect how the scope works? 4 stars instead of 5? sound like a rifle issue.

Ronald from USA

16.1" long per the BSA Optics site: http://www.bsaoptics.com/scope.aspx?productID=58
