Per the title, if you want to get a couple rounds of plinking in with the Colt, need to get a few of these babies. Price for what you get seems reasonable to me.

These are great & love to have fun changing cartridges that I have pre loaded for less down time, I ordered 4 sets & BB's hold very good in them. Most of the fun for me is the changing !!

Less down time with these spare cartridges when you need to reload especially when you only have 6 shots. Well made & definitely a plus to have the extras pre loaded

These work good and you need them if you want extra shells ready to go on the range.
Realistic looking, well made, easy to load bbs or pellets, no jams or misfires and will last a long time with no maintenance. They fit perfectly in the cartridge belt

Not much to say except that these cartridges are Cool and work great for the Colt SAA pistols. Very realistic as far as BB cartridges go.

These will use pellets with no problem. The cowboy lever action loves pellets in these. If you plan on a gun belt for these shells make sure you order 38 cal. loops. 45 cal. are much to large. This one is a Shot Gun Lil belt from amazon.

i like the look of the shells. FYI pellets work fine in them. Didn't want 2 different color shells in the gun belts so I went with this.
Cons
make the silicone ends replaceable when and if they get worn out. Would be much cheaper than replacing the entire shell.
