do I need a different one for the .22 or a .177?

I bought this specifically for my Diana Bandit pistol. Youtube reviews showed tightened groups when the barrel is further secured to the reservoir instead of free floated and retained with only three screws at the breech. I felt adding this piece would also make me feel more comfortable with handling the pistol as I am not sure just how fragile the barrel actually is.
