Perfect Fit For Gamo Whisper Fusion IGT .177 Cal Air Rifle
December 7, 2014
This is a lockable lightweight case with standard padding that exactly fits my new Gamo Whisper Fusion IGT .177 Cal Air Rifle.

I bought two cases for both sons pellet rifles. Ample room for rifle with scope and ammo canisters. Overall a good case for the price.

Sturdy, good value and priced right

Snug fit for most of my rifles but they do fit. For the price they are well protected by egg crate foam from and back. Nice feature is the locking tabs cast into the plastic near the carrying handle for a padlock.
ProsSturdy, nice fit and finish, and locking tabs cast into case enabling additional security with a padlock.
ConsThe only thing I would change would be to make the length 50 inches. Scoped rifles such as the Venom Dusk just barely make the fit inside.

Get what you pay for.

Cheap case and not sure it will comfortably fit my gun with all its attachments. The morale of the story is you get what you pay for. The clasps are also quite weak and POP open on there own at times. Wanted a simple case for my gun but I am disappointed with this one.
ProsCheap
ConsFitment of gun, clasps and overall quality.

OK Case
November 23, 2011
I bought this case to go along with a .22 Benjamin Discovery w/o a scope. My main reason was so that the Discovery, with its short stock and single barrel band would not be banged around within a soft case. The other reason was so that I could put the open case on the ground with the Discovery in it and be able to pump-up the gun without having to put the gun on the ground. The case works well for these functions. The latches seem to be somewhat loose because the Discovery w/o a scope is not a fat fun and thus the pressure against the case latches is light. But it does work.
ProsFirm shell padded case. Plenty of room.
ConsLatch snap pressure is a little lite.

Ok for the $$

I would have preferred to answer the question "Would You Recommend This Product To Others?" with a solid...maybe.

Like someone else said, if I had a REALLY expensive rifle, I would want someything more solid. For my Gamo Extreme (see my review of THAT POS) it's good enough. The "hardshell" plasic is thin and the foam interior wasn't glued properly so it keeps coming out every time I open the case. I'll reglue it myself, but is it such a difficult thing for the manufacturer to accomplish?

The latches close well enough for me; I don't worry about them opening so much as I worry about something banging against the side of the case and damaging my rifle.

DO NOT pack your gun in this case for airline travel! I would consider this an "entry level" "hard"shell case.

Could Be Better

This case will protect your gun, but the padding is too thin. The case is too flexible, along with the hinges, and I would not use this without putting locks on it.
I seriously believe this would open up with the slightest bit of rough handling.

Too Close

My rifle just fits with the scope on, barely. Made for smaller rifles and scopes. I have a RWS Diana rifle with 50mm scope.

Good enough!

If I had an expensive rifle, I would want a more solid case. But for my Crosman air rifle and C02 pistol, this case is just the ticket, and the price is right. I loaded it with a Crosman rifle and four BB pistols for a recent trip to Vermont, and it worked like a charm.

This is a great case for the money. I bought this when I bought my Gamo whisper airgun and it fits well. There isn't as much extra space around the rifle as in the photo, but the rifle fits. the closing latches seem to work well too. Overall, it is perfect for an airgun.
