Sumatra 2500
This is very accurate pellet for the Sumatra (Seneca/Samyang) 2500 .25 rifle. Will literally stck into one hole at 50 yards.
ProsNot that expensive
ConsNone
Best UsesKilled many rats and ground squirrels up to 80 yards with ease. That was the extent of the field. Might go further, just don't know.

Just Ordered MORE!
Used these with my .25 BT65QE for the 1st time yesterday. Ground squirrel head shots at 82-92 yds. with ease! I'm very impressed so I ordered more. Between these & the Hunter Extreme those little buggers don't stand a chance.

Great target and hunting pellet
I have my gun zeroed in with the JSB 33.95 MK II pellets and can use these with the same setting. Hole in one big ragged hole at 25yrds. These are cheaper than the JSB's so they are a great pellet for target practice for me. The pellets are harder than most and with the slightly pointed tip expansion is not great. You get more of a through and through shot on most small game.
ProsAccurate and hard hitting

H&N Baracuda .25 Cal, 31.02 gr - 200 ct
~>>>----> So far the best pellet for my Benjamin Armada .25 cal. The best in price, velocity, accuracy, and FPE. Zeroed in at 30 meters (98' - 5.102") THEY ALL WENT THRU the paper target, shoe box wadded paper trap, a thick phone book, a 1/2 inch thick piece of sheet rock, the outer cardboard box, and a 3/4 inch thick plywood..... leaving several deep dents on the backrest of a wooden stool it was set on! I have hunted a large coyote, two wild turkeys, a porcupine, several jack rabbits, squirrels, and feral cats! <----<<<~
Pros Price for the 200 count tin, velocity, accuracy, and FPE. Perfect for M-Rods on the "chase" in the wilderness, field, farm or ranch. Buy four tins for the price of three, here at Airgun Depot.
ConsI DO NOT RECOMMEND for a low FPE PCP, spring, or gas piston, air rifle. I now need to build a stronger trap.

Get some
Been using these for a while now in my Hatsan Sniper Vortex 125 and they work great in this rifle. Can not say anything about other rifles but for the 125 they are great, only ones I use in it. I buy several tins at once to get the four for three price.
ProsConstant accuracy
ConsLike all ammo anymore, pricey

Best Pellet I found for the Hunter Extreme but works well in most guns in .25
Heavy hard hitting pellet. Rounded point so fly's well good in My Hunter X to about 80 yrds, does well in my 135 Vortex, have an XL 725 that I put a new barrel on so still breaking that tube in. This pellet makes the Gamo Hunter X an absolute tack driver, I shoot free hold and off mono and tripods, great pellet. Also use this in my BT65 and it is a destroyer, at 31 grains just puts em down. Great for Crows, dove, pigeons and rabbits. One of my favorites! For non PCP, I always wash the pellets then spray Behold furniture wax on paper towels to thinly coat, better accuracy and about 45 FPS increase on average. For PCP use Pellet oil instead of Behold furniture wax.
ProsH&N makes great pellets. Worth the money.

Nice and heavy
This pellet is about the max that a Hatsan .25 magazine can handle. That being said, this pellet turns my BT65 into a strong gun. At 100 ft out it goes through one side of concrete block. When I had a 6x32 scope zeroed in, I took about 5 shots. I had to take a shot off to the side to believe what I was seeing. Those first shots were stacked into a barely ragged hole. That was at 30 yds.At 50 yds. they were a quarter size grouping. With the size of a.25 hole that is a tight grouping. this pellet is about the max length to fit a Hatsan .25 magazine. That being said they turn my BT65 into a strong gun. At 100ft they will penetrate one side of concrete block. After zeroing in a 6x32 scope, after about 5 shots I had to take a shot off to the side to believe what I was seeing. The first shots had barely made a ragged hole. That was 30 yds. leaning on a fence. At 50 yds. it was a quarter size hole. That is pretty tight when you consider the size of .25 hole. The BT65 is rated for 1070 with lead. Even though these are 31 grain they are firing just below speed of sound as .28 go ultra-sonic so this is the pellet of choice.(100ft elevation). H&N have become my only brand of pellet recently as they have good quality control and the results are tight groups.I have 4 Hatsan PCPs and they all seem very compatible with H&N.
ProsHatsan magazine compatible..Consistent pellets that lead to consistent grouping. Hard hitting. AGD has great price on these pellets.

Great pellets but....
Great pellets but make sure you don't have mixed calibers in the tin. I had about 30 .22 cal pellets mixed in my tin. I contacted H&N and they said I will be compensated. I haven't received anything in the mail yet but they were very pleasant and understanding. It will probably take some time because they are located in Germany. I will purchase more when needed.

mixed pellets in can
I have always had good success with H&N pellets, they were on sale so I bought 24 tins, I opened up one tin and found about 1/3 were .22 cal. so I went through all 24 tins and found some .22s in all of them! I guess now I know why they were on sale. They were all lot # 34346 so if you bought some from this lot I would check them before attempting to shoot them.

Bad production mess up
I've ordered 20 cans of these....I have used a couple of tins no problem, last order of 10 cans I was loading and had a pellet fall straight through the barrel and onto the ground....slightly confused I picked it up and after looking it's a .22 caliber...looking through the rest of the can I have approx 40 .22 and the rest are .25. Really disappointed

major issue
These pellets shoot great and hit very hard in my airforce condor ss - love them but here is the problem - I just ordered 2000 pellets and opened first can the other day and about 25% of them were .22 cal and the rest were my 25 cal that were correct - so this is a real serious problem ! I have a long background in manufacturing and I can tell u this is very bad! This means there is no telling how many mixed cans got out before they caught this - so my advise is to wait a while before buying these - maybe they can get it together - also this is a German company so its not like I can reallycall them up - lluckily I have guns in most calibers so not a total loss
ProsGreat pellets - I'm very very happy with them in every way
ConsHard for me to believe they let there pellets get mixed with 25 &22 cal. In same can - very bad !

My Hatsan Loves them!
If you are tired of finding an accurate pellet for your Hatsan Torpedo, Take a break. This is the pellet for you ! I tried other brands and even hollow points and had no luck. These were my first choice When I bought my rifle. .5 inch groups at 50 yards, even in windy conditions. They are hard hitting, too. I use them to hunt Iguanas. By 3 tins and get the fourth free!

H&N Barracuda .25 cal
Love the pellet. A tid bit heavier than the gamo pro mag. Unfortunately a little loose in my Hatsan 150 torpedo. But with a Lil push from a pellet seated they snug up fair and the added weight makes up for the size difference. Still fairly accurate at 35 yards
ProsGood overall magnum type pellet. Nice mushroom hard hitting
ConsDoesn't fit as tight as I'd like in my hatsan

Great pellet
I used this pallet on my Cricket and my Sumatra. They both love the pallet and are very accurate. The price is great compared to others and they are pretty consistent in shape with few defective ones in the tin. They even fit (barely) in my Hatsan.
ProsGreta price. Good consistency, Nice and heavy.
ConsI would like a bigger tin so the price per pallet would be a little cheaper but other than that, none.

Great hunting pellet
My AirForce Condor SS shoots these pellets nearly as well as JSB Kings at 30 yards. The difference is the Cudas hit harder and have less wind drift at longer distances. I still want to try some heavier pellets but I can cut a string at 30 yards 9 times out of 10 and I'm pushing them at 990-1010 FPS for my first 10 shots.
ProsAccurate, Handle high velocity well
ConsNot quite as accurate in my rifle as JSBs but they hit harder. I'll take the small trade.

3-shot group, 0.4375" spread, at 50/yards!!!
Air rifle tested: DayState Air-Ranger 50/ft-lbs model. Wind: Less than 1/mph. Range tested: 50/yards. Pellet tested: H&N Barracuda 31.02/grain. 1st shot: 862-fps, 51.45/ft-lbs. 2nd shot: 859-fps, 51.09/ft-lbs. 3rd shot: 860-fps, 51.21/ft-lbs. 3-Shot Group: 0.4375" spread. In Summary, I don't like to read reviews that are so opinion based. So I decided to state the facts. I hope the information provided Is not only useful, but acts as a testimony to this pellets accuracy!

Good pellets
Good pellets. Hard hitting as expected for 30 + grain pellet. Accuracy is up to par.
ProsYou get what your promised.
ConsH&N tins are weak, Not threaded. More time picking up the pellets then shooting varmints. Also pellets will not fire from Magazine. Pellets too long, and no description on tin or site of this obvious problem ( I'm sure I'm not the first to have this issue) . if I didn't have a single shot .25 , I would of wasted my money.

H&N Baracuda .25 Cal, 31.02 Grains, Round Nose, 200ct
These are reasonably priced, consistent pellets. I haven't fired them outside of twenty-five yards yet, but so far, those saying that they work well with a .25 Marauder are spot on.
ProsThey are accurate, reasonably priced for premium pellets, and come securely packed in a screw-lidded can.
