Been using these in .217 / 23gr in a tuned Hatsan Flashpup at about 960 fps and the accuracy is awesome. I could get good small groups with pellets out to 50 yds before but after that it was where it started to drop precipitously. Now collared dove at 90 to 100 yds is no problem. With a 50 yd zero it drops about an inch at 90. I got to go try my 150 yd target. It was like shooting a howitzer to hit it maybe 1 out 5. I'll bet that's no longer the case.

Pros
Most accurate projectile for me especially past 50 yds, much flatter trajectory at distance than similar weight pellets. Woke my Flashpup up!

Cons
Sell them in 500 ct tins for a discount ;-)

Awesome accuracy! 23 grain slugs. I only use slugs, been a long time NSA slug shooter - these are equal or better than NSA. I'm grouping nickel size, 10 shot groups @ 50 yards with my Taipan Veteran short. On a tripod, I shot 10 - 10 shot groups with no fliers and every group under a nickel. Switched to the 30 grain H&N slugs, adjusted the scope and got the same results - repeatedly. Nickel groups. This is an amazing slug.

Pros
Awesome Slugs

Cons
None. Really wish they made them in .25 caliber

I first used the .217 21 grain in my gauntlet .22 and those were great! I then decided to try the slightly heavier .217 23 grain and they grouped quite a bit better. They fly farther and straighter then pellets and they keep their hard hitting energy over greater distances as well!

Pros
Shoot farther and drop your targets from great distances. More accurate then pellets at long range.

I shot these in my Hatsan 95 and was not able to establish a good group. I will try again when my new FX Chronograph arrives and post results.

I see 217 & 218 that are suppose to be .22 cal ? What is a 217 & 218 ? Im Shooting a hatsan blitz is 1 better than the other for this?

asked Brian from USA

.217 and .218 are precision made slugs. Only testing will tell you if your Hatsan will like one over the other
