This pistol has great balance, put a scope on it and it's a carbine. Left side cocking lever works great as you can keep holding it in your right hand for a quick follow up shots. Accuracy is outstanding and the most power full pistol I have.

First off let me thank the folks at AIRGUN DEPOT for their prompt and professional service. I received my Hatsan .22 cal AT-P1 PCP .22 Pistol a day before the earliest promised delivery date. As for the pistol, it is totally awesome! I have owned a Sumatra .25 cal. PCP Lever action rifle for about a year now and have set up a 25 yard target range in my backyard. I am no stranger to the joy of PCP shooting. The Hatsan AT-P1 Pistol is literally, a blast to shoot, and to the detriment of my work shed, extremely accurate. The Hatsan comes with some very precise and fully adjustable iron fiber optic sights that allowed me to get an initial 1 1/2" 5 shot group. After attaching a Red Dot Scope, the Hatsan AT-P1 gave me groups I could cover with a quarter. After a day of shopping around, I finally found a 2-7 variable power pistol scope that gave me consistent dime and nickel sized groups! As for the work shed, it seems that shooting such a powerful pistol that shoots such tight groups that three layers of plywood totaling over an inch and a half thick failed to prevent several one inch holes from magically appearing in it's side behind my targets! Here is a great reason on why I love shooting PCP's: After visiting and calling SEVEN gun/sports stores I managed to score one 50 round box of .22 cal. box of ammo. I totally struck out on 9MM. One more thing, I can shoot my PCP's in my backyard!

It is a little loud, but the barrel is threaded for a silencer.
My first impression was wow, this thing is BIG! Upon placing it on my hands, I felt the comfort and balance that this pistol has. I loaded the 10 clip and set up an old 3/4" MDF out on the side yard and blew a hole right threw it at 35 feet. This thing can punch holes out to 50 yards easy, so I can say without a doubt, all the critters in the neighborhood have been put on notice. Great safety feature in how it automatically sets the trigger safety as you cock the lever back.

i want one ...but would rather it be a true semi-auto... self cocking.. there is enough pressure to engineer an advance of the pellet cartridge/holder ... when it drops to 200 i'll buy... until then .. it is nice to look at.
