Just bought my first hunting type airgun because it's next to impossible to find. 22 rimfire to use keep predators from wiping out my chickens and ducks, also not knowing too much about pellets I bought some exact monsters for the weight thinking that would help. Predator showed up this morning one shot behind the ear at about 20 yds and he dropped. Great pellets.
Pros
Super accurate and hit really hard
Cons
None
Excellent weight for a .177 pellet. Must have a 1200 fps or more gun to sling this out there.
It almost turns a .177 into a .22 pellet gun and your kill ratio will go up.
Pros
Excellent for squirrel / Rabbit / Crow. One shot and "down goes frazier".... Excellent
Penetration from 30 - 40 yards.
Cons
Cant offer anything up here, never have experienced a problem.
As with any gun, there are always going to be an ideal range of weight, diameter and balance that will determine the best pellet for that gun. For my guns that have the necessary power to propel this pellet there's no question but that these are the choice when the shot counts. .177 rounds are notoriously vulnerable to wind but the extra heavy weight and more symmetrical skirt lessen the effect of wind although they do increase the angle of incidence to the POI. However the later is a controllable factor where as the former (the wind) is a uncontrolled variable. The bottom line is, if you're going accuracy at distance and have a rifle capable of sending a projectile of this weight down range efficiently, you'll be very pleased with how these pellets perform.
Why 4 stars instead of 5 ? ..... Cost, plain and simple. These are expensive pellets but well worth the cost when the shot is on the line.
Pros
Good QC provides minimal variances in weight and mostly occlusion free heads.
Cons
Your wallet will think you're shooting rimfire rounds.
I use theese heavier ammos types to zero rifles and I pull them out when I want tight shot groups.
Pros
you can maximize for foot pounds downrange with pellets like theese
I have been shooting these through a Gamo Silver Shadow 1ooo and they are accurate up to about 30 feet. Shooting beyond that they lose their velocity very quickly and become not so accurate. No bent pellets and very clean.
Pros
Accurate, hard hitting, clean pellets.
Cons
Velocity drops quickly after 30 feet.
These pellets produce a consistent one hole groups at 20 yards in my Umarex Gauntlet.
Pros
Accuracy, cost at $14.49 plus discount if purchasing 4 packs at a time( fourth free)
Cons
They may be changing this pellet design soon for the better or worse? I stocked up on the old style, and have not tried the new style.
I use these in my Gauntlet
Pros
good packing and good quality control ( no bad pellets )
Cons
n/a
Great for long range accuracy and penetration
Pros
Penetration
Cons
Tin needs redesigned
I got these pellets to shoot in my high powered 177 cal guns since the extra weight slow the velocity down so its under the transonic range to keep the accuracy consistent. My B51 loves these heavy pellets and shoots them right in the sweet spot of 890 to 900 fps.
Pros
Very consistent and accurate pellets in higher powered 177cal guns that overpower lighter pellets and shoot the light pellets up in the transonic range which destabilizes the pellets flight causing accuracy to suffer. These also retain good energy down range to provide good knockdown power out at longer ranges when hunting. Also help buck the wind when shot in the high 800s to low 900s velocity ranges. The dumbbell shape really makes this pellets stable out to long ranges.
Cons
The only con I see is they need to come in 500 count tins.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.Has anybody tried these with the Crosman Vantage NP? Do they fit?
asked Jason from USAThey will fit. They are a bit heavy to shoot very well. A 10 grain will shoot better.

I love these pellets. I had a lot of people tell me these are to heavy for a break barrel. But they are the best pellets I've found for my Benjamin trail NP XL. Spot on at 30 yards. They are pricey, if not overpriced. But that's not the reason I gave them 4 stars. I gave them 4 stars because of the lead debris and dust. You definitely want to clean these before using them.
Pros
Weight and size are consistent.
Cons
1.Excessive lead particles and dust. Price.
