asked MarkThis scope would not be my first choice for your Air Magnum. It is pretty short in overall length and given the dimensions of the rife you would be looking at 5-6 inches of eye relief which would give you a compromised field of vision. If you are dead set to put this scope on your Air Magnum buy the longest setback mounts you can get. This scope is best suited for AR-15 /M-4 weapons. I have two Air Magnums that perform quite well with conventional size scopes. Due to the extended range of these rides, I installed 6X24X 50 with high mounts. I can make 6 inch groups at 100 yards with this combo.

I know it was a refurb sight but I wasn't expecting it to be quite so 'beat'! I've purchased a number of refurb items during my 61yrs and those items usually look just like new. Not this time! The side rails and the clamping knobs were clearly installed with a pair of pliers by the former owner! Deep scratches were in the rails and on the knobs. I sanded out the scratches and re-blued the parts just to make the sight presentable. The sight itself functions perfectly and holds zero on my Crosman DPMS SBR. Each of the three brightness settings show a slightly brighter dot. The three different colored dots are nice and round. I give the functionality of the sight itself 5-stars.
