Hard Hitting!
Have you ever taken a fraternity paddle and whacked a wet hippopotamus? Me neither. But if I did, I would suppose that it would make the same "THWACK" sound that this pellet make when hitting squirrels in the head! I haven't heard another pellet sound like that! I hear the spring and then THWACK! It's a little disturbing, to tell you the truth. While other MRod owners have complained about their accuracy in the past, I have had no problems with them. The only con, I would say, is that I'd like to see the polymer core be made of a much softer polymer. I get next to NO mushrooming from them, except in wood, and even then it's still not a lot. Change that so it breaks through then gives way to the hollow point, and you'll have the best varmint round on the market! ~F~
ProsVery Hard Hitting accurate

A little heavy for long range. Adjust the scope and you have an accurate hunting pellet
Very consistent pellet. I had to adjust my scope up compared to other pellets I use. They fly more like a JSB heavy butare more consistent. My go to hunting pellet with my Bengy Trail XL.
ProsConsistent, no fliers.
ConsExpensive. Not for plinking.
Best UsesHunting small game.

Predator Polymag .25 Cal, 25.39 gr
This is a great pellet but its too long for some of my magazines. How I fix that is I take some fingernail clippers and clip the tip off and they fit just fine. This is a very accurate pellet that carries a big punch.
Prosaccurate, great expansion, killer punch
ConsLittle long

Good for hunting
For some magazines is too long, but it perfectly fits my Pulsar. Did tests on a clay block Polymags and Baracuda Extremes were way better than other pellets. From 25-30 yards it has nice 1-1.5 inch entrance hole and huge 3-5 inch cavity at the exit. Gang of raccoons was terrorizing my shot...
ProsHuge expansion
ConsToo long for some magazines

They WILL fit in BT65 .25 cal magazines if......
Great, hard hitting accurate pellets. If you want them to fit in a BT65, .25 cal magazine just take nail clippers & trim the very tip of the plastic point. A little extra work but worth it!!! No change in accuracy.

Should have tried them sooner!
I ofcourse heard all the hype about the polyyags long ago. For some reason beyond me i just kept holding off from trying these out. WOW! awsome accurate effective hunting must haves! I have used the polymags for hunting small to a little more than not so small game so far. After the results i have had, these will be my hog ammo for now. I had gotten very used to using the JSB's and asummed they were all i needed anymore. I had used many others out of my marauder .25cal gen 2...but never tried the! Get you some you wont be sorry in fact you will be more than happy you did. Even though there are heavier pellets out there these are more than accurate enough to ear hole hogs where i hunt my cousins property here in south Texas. I set up about 20 yards from the gametrail so you can imagine how easy a good humane shot is at that distance. ..especially with the marauder! I recommend you try them is my honest advise.
ProsWHACK !!!

Predator Polymag 25 cal.
I have been shooting Polymags since they first came out in .177. and .22 and they are awesome. Now I have them in .25 cal. Wow! These things shoot hard out of my Condor SS in .25 cal. The are very accurate and are devastating. If you only target shoot don't bother. But if you hunt try them out. You won't be disappointed.
ProsAccurate. Hard hitting and devastating to game. Never find any deformed pellets in the tin. Love them.
ConsExpensive for the amount of pellets you get. I wish they would make a screw on lid for the tin.

.25 Polymag
My first time using the Polymags was in my .20 Cal Beeman R10 when they first came out. They were great. Wish they would have been around back in the day of only Sheridan yellow box cylindrical pellets I used in my .20 cal Blue Streak! Since then I have used them in .177 and .22 rifles and pistols. Now I use them in my Marauder .25 cal. While I have several different kinds of pellets for each of my shooters, I really only use the Polymags in all of them.
ProsVery accurate, great expansion and look cool too!
ConsEXPESIVE! $16 for 150 .25 cal. Buy 3 get 1 free does help.

Awesome performance and accuracy
Very accurate and the ultimate hunting pellet. Shooting out of a Benjamin Marauder 25 cal and have taken several foxes and squirrels out to 75 yards and even on the larger game they are expired in 5-10 seconds. Terminal performance of these are second to none.
ConsThey need to build a new tin for these pellets that will stay closed like the jsb pellets.

Lights out
That's what this pellet is designed to do, and it does. People don't always understand what the purpose of the tip is, it is made to open a hole so the hollow point does not clog with feathers or hair, and allow the hollow point to open up. The tip is made to be shed once it is past the skin of your quarry and expose the large hollow point opening.
ProsA well thought out pellet.
ConsI would like to see a 35 + - grain version for longer shots.

Great for hunting
The Polymag is my hunting pellet of choice out of my Hatsan Galatian .25. I am shooting them at 895 fps 46.23 ft-lbs. They are second best in accuracy compared to the JSB's but only by a little. I hit a squirrel straight on in the head, and found the pellet right in front of the back leg. The hollow point mushroomed well, and of course dumped all 46 ft-lbs of energy, which is perfect for hunting. Of course as always they might not shoot well out of you rifle, but I would definitely give them a try. The included pictures are comparing a fresh pellet to the one I removed from the squirrel.
Prosaccurate and hard hitting.
Consmaybe could be cheaper

poly what?
Hits hard. Some what accurate in my Hatsan 135. Poly cone all but intact when I do find them in a carcass or wood behind target. With little or to much destruction to pellet. Overall I'd say poly cone is inadequate at best.
ProsFun pellet to shoot, worth the money. His hard, good penetration.
ConsDon't see any upside to poly cone. Taken out or lost poly cone pellets shoot as good and hit as hard. So...

Not too bad
I was expecting the red plastic point to mushroom out the pellet upon impact. It does to a small degree. I haven't used it on squirrels yet and most of what I hear is that its very effective on them. I like them, but I am still trying out many brands.

Best Pellets for Hunting!
Test fired these in my Hatsan Model 95 and 1000X Striker into a half inch board from 25 yards and the results were devastating. They blew through the half inch board and penetrated fairly deep into my 7 inch commercial grade cutting board. I used as a safety barrier. Awesome Pellets!
ProsThe penetration power and expansion from one pellet.
ConsA little pricey It’s not offered in higher quantities

don't buy if you're loading into hatsan bt65
These look like great pellets. I actually jammed them into my magazine and got a shot off and the pellet was accurate and had good penetration. They are too long for this particular rifle. The mag will just jam and the pellets will get damaged, thus the 3 stars.
ConsDoesn't fit my hatsan.

These pettets rock
When I first received my Benjamin np xl725 I tried Beeman Silver Bears and Gammo Rockets. At 30 yards I could not hold a pattern off of a bench rest any tighter than 6 inches, which is horrible. When I fired my first Predator Polymag it hit the target about 10 inches higher than the Beemans. This tells me that the Predators hold their velocity and trajectory better. Now shooting at 30 yards off of a bipod my pattern is about the size of a silver dollar. Off of a bench rest the pattern would be even tighter I am sure. These pellets pack a punch and are very accurate IMHO. Yes they are a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. If you want accuracy then these are the pellets to get.
Prosmaintain velocity much better than others much better pattern than other pellets

I tried these with my "Hunter Extreme" in .25 caliber. They are very accurate and hard hitting. I was able to shoot 1-inch groups at 20 yards consistently and penetrate a one inch piece of plywood.
